Tried out their free trial today and quickly learned it wasn’t for us. Hot tub is turned off every night so it’s cold in the mornings. Equipment is cheaper quality. But what really did us in was the childcare. The lady sat in the far corner and ignored the 3 kids that were in there. I watched my 4 year old attempt to escape and the other kids get into the desk and pull things out, while she just sat there hunched over. I gave her about 10 minutes to notice and redirect him but grabbed him before that ever happened. Luckily, they had a window to look into the daycare so that I could see him. But I’m not able to focus on my workout if I’m worried about my kid escaping or hurting himself. For the price you pay monthly, I would expect childcare that wasn’t negligent.

The best gym you will ever go to! Definitely worth your money and time. I was amazed at how affordable it is and how much Cove fitness has to offer. As soon as you walk inside everyone says hello and welcomes you in like you are part of the family. Definitely recommend the group fitness classes! The instructors are super well trained and empowering people making you leave each class stronger and better than you were before. I can’t get enough of the classes! The gym is well organized, clean and super sanitary. Never in my life have I loved a gym as much as I love cove fitness. I haven’t been to a gym in a while because I didn’t like most gyms atmospheres. Cove Fitness has a wide range of people all at different fitness levels and everyone is so kind and willing to get you where you want to be fitness wise. I think the best part of Cove Fitness is that the instructors and people that work there genuinely care! They actually care about you! So please do yourself a favor and go sign up like I did. Take a few classes! You won’t regret it!

I’ve always been really intimidated about going to the gym because I’m a beginner and I’m trying to get this mom bod in the shape, so I don’t exactly have the typical gym body that would fit in. HOWEVER I took the plunge and I’ve been going consistently to the gym for 2 1/2 weeks now and no matter what time of day you go, everyone that is working out is always willing to help you with any questions you may have and help you become a better you. The employees are always very kind and encouraging, which makes it even better.I highly recommend this gym to anyone beginners or experts. Thank you Cove Fitness for giving me a safe space to become a better me for myself and for my kids.

We moved out of state and were still getting charged so much that we went into overdraft. THEY DO NOT CARE! With no way to pay the $150 to cancel and them still charging us multiple times a month, I got oh well. No sympathy, nothing. Now, we are paying for a gym membership we cant use and no way out of it. Thanks a lot Cove Fitness. Thanks to you, we dont even have money to buy our son formula.

Went to military gyms majority of the time, and almost always found them to be crowded at all times, my wife finally got me to go to a gym off post, and we chose this one, it has been a blessing, with the child care, which all three of my children love, and the fact that it isnt packed, it has people constantly, but never feels congested. I would recommend this gym to everyone. It has a nice clean environment and the staff is very friendly.

BEFORE joining, i toured the facility, visited the daycare center and asked about the hours and rules, and talked to some of the staff. I honestly dont have a single bad thing to say about this facility! everyone is friendly. everyone is professional. the entire facility is clean and well kept. i love that a spa and tanning beds are also available...my kids can stay in the daycare if i choose to utilize them. and it saves me a trip :)my husband usually works out on his lunch hour, and he likes it at that time because the gym is usually pretty quiet and he can get in and get out.i love the group fitness classes. being a stay at home mom, its nice to have a place to go where you can socialize with your peers as well as keep fit.we have both made many new friends on our fitness journeys and we look forward to renewing our membership this fall!

I have been a member for over a year and personally love this local gym. The staff is very friendly and always helpful in any way needed. The manager is always willing to do what it is that needs to be done to help a member and fix all problems that may come up. All of the trainers are very personable and make the classes available one of a kind and very enjoyable for all levels of fitness. The classes themselves are my favorite part of this in particular gym and are what really makes Cove Fitness stand out. The equipment is plentiful and high quality while the location of the gym itself gives members a nice view to look out to while working out. My child loves going to the daycare which has a variety of toys, friendly faces and is always very clean. Overall, this gym is top notch, while still keeping a local feel to it. Great Job Cove Fitness!!

Having gone to military gyms most of my life, I didnt ever consider joining a civilian gym to pay when the army gives you access to fitness centers for free...until I had a kid. Army gyms arent at ALL accommodating with child care, and no one cares if you go or not. When I was looking into civilian gyms, I found the staff at Cove Fitness to be nice and friendly, and they got to know my face fairly quickly, greeting me every time I showed up to work out or attend a group class. My daughter goes to the child care room and LOVES it. The providers that work there keep an eye on things, and dont mind if my daughter does art and craft projects there, draws in her sketchbook, or plays on her ipad, whatever she chooses. Weve been going nearly every day for a few months now, and they know her name, and she loves it there, which makes it MUCH easier for me to feel comfortable working out.Ive read the comments, and Ive never so far had a problem with the staff--Ive found them to be very friendly--they seem to really WANT me to be there without being in my face. I take a lot of the group classes, and the instructors have noticed and made a point to introduce themselves and ask if we have suggestions for improvement. Im no supermodel or fitness queen, but I have only experienced friendly staff and encouraging instructors. Some are more outgoing than others, but I dont always want someone in my face, so I think they do a good job of letting you know they appreciate you without kissing your butt. :PI was explained the contract very clearly in a non-pressure way, given papers on the child care hours, class schedules, and military PCS clauses, and I gave it some thought, came back, and signed up. After the military gyms Ive been to, I was VERY happy to pay for an environment where--most importantly--my kid is happy, and I can enjoy the classes without worrying about her.My advice is to take a tour, try out a few trial classes, and see if its a good fit for you. Not everything works for everyone. As I said, Ive been going nearly twice a day for the past three months, and so far Ive been very happy with Cove Fitness.

I like that it is close to my house. Childcare is free and you get 2 hrs of childcare per day. They have a hot tub and a small sauna available in the ladies room as well. The only drawback is that it is small and pricier than golds gym.....buuuut....they do offer a variety of classes for free and childcare is free. I have been to this gym to take classes from time to time. It took a lot of courage for me to take one of these classes that this gym offers, but decided to do so anyways. I was looking for a class that I could have fun in while at the same time get a good work out. I felt very disappointed to hear that one of the instructors was pointing out my flaws to another gym member. In my opinion that is not professional at all and I will never return to this gym again. If a fitness instructor has constructive criticism thats fine, however share your opinion after class to the student not to other members of the gym. Its not professional.

Extremely unprofessional staff. I recently overheard the owner and his wife telling jokes about an unattractive member. They waited until the large woman was out of earshot and immediately started laughing and saying negative things. I could not believe what I was hearing. Then they started talking to some of the other members in the gym about the same woman. I am not the most attractive person myself and wonder what they say about me when I walk away. I would imagine that they would be grateful to their customers. I dont see this place lasting too much longer. Judging by the lack of clientele, the owner has to be in financial trouble. They should try another profession because they are not very good at the one they have.

I have been a member of Cove Fitness for 11 months and I have NEVER had a poor experience with this gym! The staff have always been very personable and helpful. The daycare is also amazing. My 4 year old loves the staff and, more importantly, it is obvious the daycare staff love the children they work with. One reviewer gave a poor review because of the daycare hours. Honestly, it is the *customers responsibility* to DO THE RESEARCH BEFORE giving their money to ANY business. While it is true that daycare is not available at 5am (heck, my sons regular daycare doesnt open that early!!), Cove Fitness and their daycare is open late, affording members the chance to workout and use the daycare throughout the day/night.With regard to the trainers, you will not find a better group of people who care about the health and well-being of their members. They have all been in our shoes at one point or another, so they personally know our struggle with weight-loss. Contrary to another review, there is no high school-style clique-system at Cove Fitness! You will see groups of friends working out together, but that hardly constitutes a clique and certainly should not warrant a poor review for the gym! The members and trainers support and motivate each other. I have been a member of other gyms where trainers had absolutely no relationship with their members and it was clear they were there to collect a paycheck or show-off their bodies. That is *not* the case at Cove Fitness. My honest recommendation is to take full advantage of Cove Fitnesss 2-day free trial. Take a drive up there, grab a schedule and try the group fitness classes! Odds are, whichever group fitness class you attend, the trainer and a current member in class will come to you, assist you, and support you. I guarantee you will have an amazing experience if youre open to the people around you and remain committed to the workout. You *will* get the results youre looking for at Cove Fitness. Good luck in your fitness journey!

Hi! My name is Cindi and I am 62 years old. I wanted to share how Cove Fitness has changed my life! I have been going to Cove Fitness in Copperas Cove for about 6 years now. My family and I started after they moved into their new location which is only about 10 mins from home which I love!Ive always struggled with my weight and exercised some at home. When I started I weighed the highest I ever have, right at 180# and was a size 14. Ive now lost 42# and wear a size 8-10.I started out just doing the machines on the floor for about a year but was not getting the results I needed. Denise, the owner, started telling us about Les Mills Body Vive and reassured me I could do it! I really was nervous doing a group class as I didnt want others to see me work out! But I stuck with it and loved it! The ages were from 20s on up to my age! Then I started Body Pump, and even Body Step and Body Combat! After about 3 months of doing all 4 of those classes decided to just stick with Vive and Pump and I love them! I love the fact that they are challenging and they change the workout moves and songs every 3 months because our bodies get used to the same workout and then we dont get the results we want!Being part of a smaller gym is wonderful to me as I feel like the members and the instructors are family! Ive gotten a confidence about myself that I was lacking by participating in the classes! Ive made some awesome friendships at Cove Fitness! I love the encouragement I get from everyone!

My cove fitness story – Lindsay LamyTo really understand my fitness journey I have to start from the beginning. My fitness story began the day I hit rock bottom. A few years ago I suffered from severe depression and literally just wanted to give up on life. Medication was not an option for me. So, a friend had introduced me to Zumba; said it will lift my spirits. Soon enough I became a Zumba instructor. The endorphins I felt from working out became addictive. That’s where the love of fitness started.Fast forward a few years, which included a big move to Texas from New York, a marriage, and having a baby, I felt myself slowly slipping into depression again. I had given up on Zumba and that love for fitness faded. I knew I needed to find something else to get me moving again. The love of fitness was there, but I needed to somehow bring it back. My husband, and number one supporter, loves working out, and he knew that working out again would benefit me in a huge way, so he tried to push me and told me to join a gym.Cove fitness was the only appealing gym to me in the area. I had never belonged to a gym, but I figured with this commitment it was bound to push me forward. I walked in for the first time and decided to sign up within two minutes of being there. Why? Because of the classes offered and the friendly atmosphere. I had never heard of Les Mills, but with the variety of classes, I knew I would love something. Before I knew it I was hooked on RPM and went to every single class. The feeling I get after an RPM class is unreal; it’s like a happy high that lasts all day long; my husband actually accused me of day drinking once because of my extremely happy tone. People who barely know me tell me I radiate this positive energy, and ask me how I got to where I am. My love of fitness was back!My husband deployed soon after I joined the gym, but this wasn’t going to bring me down, it actually pushed me harder. I want him to come home and see how hard I have worked on myself. Also during this time, I was diagnosed with Myopic Macular Degeneration. Short version of what that is; I am going blind in my left eye. People were shocked with how I handled this news, and probably expected me to fall again. NO. I am in too good of a place in my life now to be depressed about something I can help regulate. Being active and healthy will get me through; it always has. Depression defeated. I am a firm believer that if you love yourself you will love life no matter what obstacles you may face. For me working out benefits my well being more than just being fit, but also by being happy.Overall I feel so much better, and I would say right now I feel like I am my best self. After doing RPM for a couple months, I ventured out and tried other classes; Body Vive is now apart of my weekly workout too. It’s not just about the workout; it’s also the instructors that motivate you. It also helps being surrounded by fellow gym members who love being there as much as you do. I feel like I belong to a great community that knows how to bring you back from rock bottom. The people, the workouts, there will definitely be tears the day I have to leave. Thank you Cove fitness for helping me live a healthy fit lifestyle to keep me lifted.

I signed up for a 3 month contract and its $60 a month... I tired to cancel yesterday and she says you can but itll be $150 cancelation fee. Really ?I decided to stay since its cheaper to just pay the monthly fee till October 1st and use the gym.Stay away from this gym... The equipment is okay, but for all this money they better have 3 of every machine. However, they dont. Mediocre machines, Dumbbells, and service. At this price - they better have a protein shake, greet me properly, and a towel for my sweaty body to use.I cant wait till October!
