I shop at this store every week, but will not any more. I tried to return a handbag that I bought yesterday. I called and was told that I could return it if I had a receipt and was within 7 days of purchase, which I was. I went in the store to return the item for a store credit. I was told by the very rude female manager with a bad weave that they would not take the handbag back. I told her that I shop there every week and would use the store credit. She refused and was very rude. She made no attempt to provide any sort of offer a solution. I will not be back.

TL;DR - SHOP AND DONATE AT THE LOCAL VALUE VILLAGE (next to Walmart in Conyers by the Home Depot). Way better prices and system. Proceeds also go to a Kidney Foundation. This location (good will) thinks that they are a boutique now, so everything is expensive for being a thrift store and new employees are rude (I witnessed it happen to another customer, an elderly gentleman, who wanted to view some items). Go shop at any other Good Will or Value Village (even other mom and pop thrift stores). Not this one. Heck, shop on Facebook Marketplace even.I use to enjoy coming here to shop for items for my home. I thought it was one of THE best Goodwills nearby. I changed my mind on that when I told my cousins what a great place this was and that we could find many great items at a clean and organized store - for an amazing deal. Boy was I wrong. It use to be a thrift store, now its trying to operate at Boutique prices. Haha, Im sorry, but change your name and dont claim to be Goodwill anymore. Go by Conyers Pricey Boutique or something.You charge WAY too much for used furniture at a thrift shop and WAY more for dishware that you deem valuable and have no knowledge of just because its a set. Did this place go under new management? If so, that is highly regretful. The former guy who was there was a lot cooler and the way he ran things, everyone was happy. Employees seemed happy. Last I went (a few days ago), they seemed strung out.Also, it is your responsibility as an employee to price things before putting them on the sales floor. If I pick up items that arent priced because you forgot, and Im interested in buying, dont tell me that it will take 24 hrs at least before it will be back out. Just price it so I can pay for it, already went through the trouble of putting it on sales floor. Go to any other Good Will instead. This place is a disaster.

Bad customer service. I trying to donate, went to the back and waited for someone to come out since you cant drop off....and instead of verbally telling me where I can go insead, or whats going on. I just get a hand signal of no..Direct your customers Where they can go to donate, give us other options if you can not take anything. The goodwill on GA-20 was wonderful! I called and told me to come right over with no problems or issues even though their store was fully loaded!!

Goodwill has gone bonkers with their pricing strategies. They now view themselves as an antiques store and price accordingly.

I love this Goodwill. Me and my daughter love to thrift shop and the Conyers location always has good/name brand selections. Ive even found barely worn Levis jeans for my son for $8 versus $40-$50 online.

Didnt find what I wanted but got some very nice outfits and shoes.Only negative is they have some nice pieces on display with matching 🛍️ bags and 👠 shoes but nothing in plus size 😕

Brought some items for donation. I went in at the front but was advised by staff (very professional) that donations are accepted around the back. I had already placed the items which were heavy in a cart so I decided to push the cart to the back of the building. I saw a member of staff taking donations from outside and putting them inside. I told him my plastic bin was not a part of my donation because thats what i organize my donations in at home. He told me I had to leave the bin or they cant accept my donations. Really? Then a very rude lady came outside to say I have to pull up in a car to make my donation. You cant just walk up. There were no other cars/ persons waiting to donate. So if you dont own a car you cant donate to good will? I took my donations which included new household items and threw them in the dumpster because I was not willing to walk back to the front of the building to get my car to drive up to donate. The staff at the back was very unprofessional & unpleasant to speak with.

It come through the store any chance i get. I really enjoyed my shopping experience and dirt cheap prices on items. I will come by again in near future.

This is the most organized and clean Goodwill I have ever been in! The manager said they have a new CEO who is really making inprovements! Way to go Goodwill!

There was a woman with her masked pulled down coughing and snorting. I asked the cashier to do something about that quietly. She called a code 10. The guy walked up to them, played with their child and did nothing. The cashier also has her masked pulled down. Wont be back.

This is probably the best Goodwill I have been to in Georgia. They store is always organized and the clothes they sell are always flawless. Prices for jeans right now are $8, $6 for long sleeve shirts, $3 for t-shirts. You’ll find something here, trust me.

I gave them a 4 star because I use to like the store. The store prices is crazy. I went in there to buy a basket that was suppose to be together. And they separated it. Now the bottom part of the basket was $19.99 and the top part was $12.99. It’s one basket. All of the stuff is donated. Contacted the manager to see if she would let me pay one price instead of two. And she looked at me and said she couldn’t. So I left it there. I use to love going in there. But now I don’t. I really feel the store needs to be investigated on. There’s no reason for the prices to be so high. I will find somewhere else to thrift store hop.

While I can appreciate this store being a great place to find major bargains, there are many places where you can do the same thing. Goodwill used to do more than just have their stores open, like they allowed people to come do their community service hours. If you had furniture or clothes or any other donation items, they would bring a truck to your house and take it all away for you, and if they couldn’t come pick it up, they would refer you to another organization that they were affiliated with that could help you. But these days it seems like they’ve become like any other retailer, there’s no locations that still do community service, they don’t know who does donation pickups-they don’t even attempt to be helpful over the phone... I thought the Goodwill/Salvation Army companies were community-helping kind of places still, but since they don’t seem to be, then I don’t have any reason to support the local stores anymore.

Overpriced and no selection. 5.99 for used bath towels and 25.99 for used curtains? Is this a joke? The CEO makes millions. There were few customers in the store. Now they selling online. This place has become a joke. Donate to the Salvation army where they actually help people. Last time at a goodwill for me.

The prices are getting ridiculous and when you see the store that the item came from price is cheaper than the Goodwill price somethings wrong. I bought some items that were the same items that had two different prices on them and the manager said she wouldn’t change the price of the items to make them the same because they were brought out on different days and different colors and what ever it’s priced that’s what it stay priced. I really wanted the item so I bought it but the girl had the nerve to ask me will I round up no ma’am I would not be rounding up and I would not be donating to the store anymore.

I just had the nicest experience at this store. I dropped off some things and decided to walk around to kill some time. I found a really cute shoe (1😟). A nice young lady helped me look all over the shoe department, but no luck.I continued walking around the store and another employee, Shadhay, greeted me and asked how it was going. I showed her the shoe I was still hoping to find the match for and she took it and was on a mission.She looked all around with no more success than we had. I joked about feeling like Cinderella looking for my slipper and she said, “Let me look around in the back.” I was about ready to give up and head on out and she came back with the shoe! On top of all that, Shadhay went to the register and ended up checking me out!GREAT JOB, GREAT EMPLOYEE!!!

You can always find good deals at Goodwill. This location has really nice employees. I always find a good selection of inexpensive books here.

Its so SAD as much as I have supported, bought, and went to several free classes yall offered, that I bought a pair of black slacks ($5.99) from your Conyers, Georgia store yesterday and they didnt fit, and I couldnt even exchange them. They had the tag still on them. I didnt try them on at the store because I got bitten by something on the inner part of my leg the last time, and was sick several days. I havent tried on anything since then. Ive NEVER tried bringing anything back in the past. The young nonchalant manger, with such rude attitude didnt make it any better. Ill stick with going to Value Village and Salvation Army, when I go thrift shopping from here on out. I just left the whole bag and receipt with the young manager, as a donation.

I have shopped here for years. There are three managers. Two of them are fine the tall skinny guy and the other with braids are nice but there is a third manager who is awful to customers. No customer service, he yells at people. Just awful. Hope somebody did something about it.Next time Ill get his name.

Bargains are great, but you must hunt for them, as the prices have increased at all Goodwill stores!!

I am 77 years old I just bought a house on the lake.and I furnished my whole house. The prices are good they worker are friendly .

I visit here often. Its not one of my favorite goodwills, but yet & still, its a pretty good store. You can find a variety of items here and they have dressing rooms. But i dont think they offer public bathrooms as this is one of their older stores. They are a little pricey on their clothes. You have to be sure you find a price on the item or they wont sell it to you.

This Goodwill is actually really neat and put together but I found this and thought it was amusing.

I shop here often am happy with some of the stuff I buy here but my review is for something I saw for myself tonight and thought of this as very dishonest. Now every week they have a colour of the week but tonight while shopping here I notice the employees taking all of the clothing that are to be half off and putting them in the back I was shocked I didnt know they do such things. If your going to do that it makes no sense to do the promotion just stop it already. This is very dishonest man not only do I shop here I donate here too and i really dont appreciate this. You guys get these items for free why be so greedy. Smh. This is jus sad. Had I not seen this tonight my review would have been better but I felt letdown because I really like this store expect for few of its employees.

My closet was packed with unused and old clothing that could be better used by less fortunate. I usually dump in trash can. My son told me to donate them and get tax credits. It worked.

The most rude untrained staff that I have ever encountered at any Goodwill store ever. The management there does not care how the staff treats customers. I was told green dollars did not count with them only Black Dollars Mattered.

I was very disappointed. I normally like to browse in this Goodwill but today the store was a mess. The clothing racks were so jam packed that it just wasnt worth the effort to look and the childrens clothing racks were the worse ones. There was so much stuff on the shelves that things were falling all over the floor. The cashier was friendly.
