They get 1 star for the staff in the business office. They are courteous and professional. They get 1 star for the physical therapist. Otherwise, there would be no stars. Health care service on the floor sucks and the food is a mess.

I was a patient at Rockdale Healthcare Center for almost 3 mo. Mr. Patton the administrator was very concerned with making your stay as comfortable as possible. All the staff from Misty in business office Amy with scheduling patients needs and most of all the nursing staff and physical therapy staff that pushed me towards recovery. I recommend Rockdale Healthcare Center because of my experience.

This is the most horrible faculty that ever has been established they only care about money 💰 not the patients

No way to go to the bathroom. Medical staff promise to return and help and we don’t see them again. Second day and have not seen a doctor. Physical therapist promised to get instructions to staff to have wheel chair available to use restroom. Help, I need out of hereRockdale rehab has gone above and beyond to show they are a top flight health care location for my Wife. Thank you for taking great care.

My mother has been here for two weeks and I mustsay the staff as a whole was very attentive and caring.One nurse I want to mention “LaWana”, she gaveStandout service. She noticed details andany changes in my mother’s health and physical appearanceand notified us with a plan of action followingthe center’s protocol. Very professional friendly staff andfacility, needless I was pleased.LaWana made the difference in how I felt about leaving mymother here. She was very attentive with each patient, Isaw her with.

Two months ago my mother lost her struggle with metastatic pancreatic cancer. When my family had to make the decision to get help with 24/7 care for the last months of her life, I knew who to call. Mr . Patton, when asked by me if he would make sure my mother was taken care of, he said he would take care of her as if she were his mother. He kept his word. Wonderful nurses who took care of my mother are now my personal friends- love you ladies. Every time I had an extra question, I would call or stop by and every request was met, including can you please go give her an ice cream until I can get there. Would not have trusted my mothers care any where else. I may have to review twice for ten stars. Thank you Rockdale Health Care for all you did for my beautiful Mom. Highly recommended.

My Grandmother has been here for one year this month. I was nervous and scared because my family was new to nursing homes. I can honestly say that the the staff LOVE And CARE for Granny just as much as her family does!!!! My Family and I are here all the time visiting Granny and other residents so much that the residents think that I work here. I enjoy putting a smile on residents faces. If we had to do this all over again this would be our choice again...

I was told that the change of ownership had upped the care at this facility, but it wasnt true. My Mom fell and broke her hip. She underwent surgery at Piedmont Rockdale and I brought her to RMC because it was close. I very specifically told all of the nurses on duty that my Mon had dementia and would try to get out of bed overnight. They told me that bed alarms, that worked well during her last rehab stint in another facility, was not available. They lowered the bed and put rubber pads next to the bed. I reiterated several times that this system would not work and that she would still try her out of bed. They all assured me that their system would protect her.The very FIRST night she was confused and tried to get out of bed to go the bathroom. Nobody was there to help her or explain to her to stay in bed. She of course fell and broke her hip again!I would not let my worst enemy take their family to rehab at this facility. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take your loved ones somewhere else

Not the worst but a far cry from what your paying for. My biggest complaint is that they room patients of different levels together. They put a hospice patient in with my Mother in law. We had to witness her passing. It was stressful for everyone and totally unnecessary. They are slow to respond to patient calls. They work their staff back to back 16 hour shifts. The rehab staff lied on our discharge papers as to her ability to stand and & walk. They conveniently lost her anti-depressant medication including the refill they ordered to replace it with.

Terrible experience. Skipped my mother on a few of her meals. The food isnt even hot when you get it. Some of the staff was rather rude at times. The entire time she was there they couldnt get her medications right even though she had her right mind and continued to tell them time and time again. They forgot on a few occasions to give her the medications she needed at that time of day, until she went and told them her self. Then it took over an hour. Definitely do not recommend this place for your loved ones.

Update: Some of the nurses here won’t vaccinate and gave my parents COVID!!!!🤬
