They are extremely rude on the phone. I called to just see how my husband could go about setting up an appointment and I was told that I couldn’t do anything and would not give me any information on how he could set up an appointment. I’m literally married to this man and in every other situation in the world I could call. I didn’t even ask for personal information, just how he could set up an appointment. Extremely unprofessional. My husband was super hesitant to even go here because they dismiss everything he tried to talk about. I highly recommend anywhere but here. If I could give zero stars I would.

They make their own rules. Tell you one thing on the phone, and then later after realizing their mistake, tell you another thing that costs you more money. But hey, its all about them making you a better person. Before you judge my review, look at the other reviews here. The ones responded to by staff, are 5 stars, which is minimal. This in itself shows the poor demeanor the supervisors and staff have towards fixing the actual problems within. Conway counseling associates want nothing more than your money, if you are looking for true professional help, go elsewhere, if you can.

I switched to this business because they told me there appointments were 2 to 3 weeks out and I told them I did not want appointments 1 month out or more if I had to reschedule or something. They reinsured me that would not happen. Well the first appointment was over 1 months out. No good relationship is based off a lie. So yet again I have been duked. So I am stuck with my thoughts. Send prayers my way and dont believe liars!!!

Receptionist (older white lady) is rude and unwelcoming to say the least. My client is afraid to check in with her. Physco-doc is OK but therapist needs to go back to school.

I do bi-weekly therapy with Alicia and shes great. She asks the right questions to get you started on a better path and always listens to what I need to say. I also do monthly appointments with Dr. Raza and he is also great. He seems to know me better than I know myself which can be a great thing. He knows my symptoms and treats them accordingly with compassion and empathy. Thank you both! Scott Hammond.

Went for therapy and med checks for more than couple of years. Therapist uses victim blaming and has shady ideas about race, final session had a blow out after with him and wrote a complaint to the Counciling Associates general contact email. Gmail has been trying to resend for days now. The general contact email for them wont accept my email.

If you really need help look elsewhere. This business is definitely on the lower end of counseling. I understand the bad reviews now. reception was rude and failed to acknowledge me while on she was on the phone. Therapist seem to be inexperienced and offer unrealistic solutions for individual patients, treatment seems very generic. DR. Was very dismissive when I told him would no longer be returning due to their shortcomings. Look elsewhere, This business would be terrible for a restaurant yet they claim to be medical professionals.

This business doesn’t care about your well-being or setting you up for success, they just want your money. They also take a very long time to return phone calls, literally months.

I have had a great experience and really made progress over the last several years.Im confused by the people who say they dont prescribe medications, as I have been prescribed medications. The staff is courteous, though sometimes a bit rushed. I suggest not calling during the lunch hour as they are shorter-staffed at that time.

I had a wonderful time here. Both Dr. R and MM really listened. They really helped me during some truly difficult times and really helped me learn how to cope when I felt like I was loosing control

Very unprofessional agency. I was employed at Cai for 3-4yrs. Started in Morrilton, then transferred to the conway office. The first supervisor was great then had another supervisor that put me on probation. I thought I did a good job, but then I finally resigned. I would not recommend counseling and employment at this agency. You will regret it. Run as fast as you can from this agency. It is a joke. ..

If there was a zero star review I think it would better describe my experience at this location. Long story short, my 5 year old daughter was never ever able to see her assigned therapist since she enrolled in this clinic 2 months ago. They kept calling us to reschedule or to cancel her appointment because there was always something going on in the life of this lady That caused an inconvenience in ours. My daughter never got the help she needed from this location.

Well Ive been going to the conway location and I think they are awesome. Started going when i was a child i suffered from extremely bad depression when my brother went to war. For a child counselor Id ask for Mary Beth shes wonderful theres many other great ones though. And as an adult Id ask for Alex sluddermen hes awesome and will let you ramble on and on and very laid back. But there phone issues does not make them a bad place get off your lazy butt and go in the office. And as for drugs they are there to help people cope and learn to deal not drug them up. They will pit you on meds if you need them but if you show signs of abusing drugs you can hang that up real quick. They are a great place. I love them and ms Donna is amazing!

I have an incurable chronic pain disease, commonly referred to as the suicide disease and I take many medications. Some of these cause heavy drowsiness and memory loss, camping many other things. I sadly suffer from depression. I missed two appointments last year, so I was banned for one year.It has been a year since that time and I tried to setup a new appt today with the woman over the phone at the Conway location. I very clearly said I was seeking treatment and counseling for my depression. I also wanted assessment for possible other mental illness and counseling for said depression because Im having a hard time handling it right now because its hard to treat my depression chemically due to my severe trigeminal neuralgia. She stopped me from talking and asked me with a real impersonal-abrupt tone what it was I was looking for here. I paused... Excuse me? I said. (She said something else but I cant remember that part) I then stumbled with my words and had pause waiting to remember the Dr.s name and I kept asking for a hint from her, you know.. its.. uh..I know this.. that doc.. ..you know the dr.... umm.. its.. uhh. I have poor memory because of my medications and often have pauses and lapses like this one. I had to ask her flat out directly! Whats the psychiatrists name there? You mean Dr. Raza she said with an annoyed tone. I said yes of course. And I told her he used to treat me there. She told me with a very unpleasant tone He cant give you any medications. We dont do diagnosis anymore. We only handle severe mental health like schizophrenia etc.. (which was one of my concerns I originally had listed off to her.) He doesnt just give medication to people for depression, especially people in pain management. Your are still in pain management arent you? Yes mam I am. I said I didnt call you asking for any pills or medications did I mam? I called you asking for treatment and counseling and diagnosis for possible further mental health issues. Are you labeling me, seriously mam? She says with a snotty tone Well, you didnt show up for two appointments. I said Mam I was taking at the time Gabapentin amongst other medications that make me very drowsy and forgetful. You have labeled me, over the phone. And all I asked for was tre8atment, treatment, never once did I ask for or even intend for medications, but for treatment for DEPRESSION of all things, and you label me. I told her she should go find a new job. Worst most degrading service ever. Its people like ger that people like me slip through the cracks.
