The receptionist (i think that’s what she is) Allison is so sweet and very efficient. their staff is super friendly and helpful and will help you pick out new frames! would definitely recommend to anyone! :)

If you have medicaid, I feel that have a very good selection of nice, trendy medicaid frames. Its not a huge selection but it is good. I am very happy with mine. They are very friendly also very upfront about additional pricing. I will come back for more contacs as well as non medicaid frames.

Maybe it was just the time of day but my service was impeccable. I got fitted for contacts and new glasses in less than half an hour. One week later (and during the holidays!) my glasses were ready to be picked up. The ladies at the front were very nice and the doctor was efficient and professional. I have had really.. REALLY bad experiences with this place in the past but with the new staff I will definitely recommend this place.

I am usually very satisfied with the service at dr. Tavel but this time I did not get my entire order which was a bit disappointing because they have to reorder the rest of it and then I have to make another trip back in to get it

Not to happy with the service provided. I went in because my daughters school was suggesting she had her eyes looked at for trouble in school. The doctor and staff was not very friendly or personable. Also was not given the notice that our glasses were ready after I had to call and check the status of them. When I get there to pick them up only my pair was ready. No one ever expressed my childs glasses werent ready and they were having issues. I was upset with my experience and just told myself I would never go back. A month or so went by and there was a circle in her lens which caused her to stop wearing them and now of course she has missed placed them. That part is not the companies fault but what I am most upset is the lack of communication. I was new to the glasses buying process. No one mentioned insurance I thought it was included. So learning lesson for me but I WILL NOT go back to this location or recommend it to anyone. I will drive out of my way for better service. Overall staff needs some work on customer service and communication with their customers. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and not happy at all with the service I was given.

Under new management. The manager in the front is fantastic. I had a problem with my new glasses when they came in. Something wrong with the perfection. She worked with me until it was correct. It took 3 times, but she kept going. I know a lot of you will complain about taking so many times, sometimes things happen. At least she kept going and wanted me to be happy with my glasses. I have been going to this office for years they are super friendly and get you in and out quickly!

The girls upfront do not know what they are doing. Both times I saw the doctor (for the same glasses because they cant get them right) he was EATING. He had food on the counter back in the exam room. Which makes it unpleasant when he is two inches from your face checking your eyes. The first time I went to pick up my glasses they were the wrong prescription. I had to come back for another eye exam. Second time picking up my glasses I got the same line of you just have to let your eyes adjust they need checked to make sure the glasses fit right, they didnt check to see if the bifocal line was correct, they make you feel like when the glasses arent right it is your fault. I have been wearing glasses my entire life and I know that your eyes shouldnt cross when putting new glasses on. They are wrong plain and simple. This place should be shut down or have everyone fired and bring in competent employees.

Have waited 2 weeks for expensive glasses n now they are closed on wed.why??? I can barely see and needed these asap

Very disappointing experience! The doctor was rude. He even huffed at me when I asked about multi-focal contacts. The lenses in their equipment were smudged like theyd been cleaned with a dirty rag. In the end, I could see better out of my old glasses than I could out of the new ones. So I returned them. They did offer to redo the exam, but I declined given the state of the equipment.Also - Despite being in-network with my insurance provider, they billed in-excess of the contracted allowable amounts, and it wasnt just because I got expensive frames. (I didnt.) Because I returned the glasses, I did receive a refund for a portion of my down payment - all but the contact fitting, which they didnt even try to bill my insurance for. Anyway... A week after my refund was received, they still have not reprocessed the claim with my insurance. Until they do, I cannot get a proper eye exam.Ive worn glasses/contacts for over 30-years. Over the years, Ive been to so many different doctors/establishments to for glasses/contacts. In that time, Ive never experienced anything like this place. I never imagined I would. For the sake of the company, I sincerely hope my experience is rare, or at least only an issue with this location.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wide selection of frames available. The doctor was super friendly and took everything into consideration including having a detached retina over the winter and having high blood pressure and set my prescription accordingly. Will be going back for contacts soon as well.

Be warned that no one at this office knows what they are doing! Went in to get a pair of glasses and some contacts. When they supposedly read my insurance policy they told me that if I ordered a year supply of contacts my glasses would be 50% off. not knowing any better and $245 later. My wife looked at our policy. My glasses were fully covered except lenses and my contacts would have been about $40 a box. I called the next day to cancel my order and wanted a refund they told me sorry but she must have miss read our policy. I am 4 weeks now waiting for my money to be refunded!! The ladies are extremely rude and down right dumb!! Ill never go back but be warned they take advantage of people and their policies.

The two young receptionists working there have no clue what they are doing . I literally had to ask them step by step what I needed to do, fill out, etc. I had to ask if I should sit down and wait because the girl didnt fill me in on what she was doing and just kind of looked at me like can I help you?..Poor customer service skills. Wanted to slap them . Please hire people that are on a more professional level. thanks. However 5 stars to the Dr. Very genuine.
