Dr. McCall is the technically best, most compassionate, most direct, best communicating physician, whom Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with.He did a bi-lateral knee replacement for me 14 years ago and I couldnt be happier even this far out.Hes always been very open/honest and helpful.

I had a good experience until I was discharged to rehab. He kept me in the hospital 2 days after my total knee replacement to get my pain under control, but then he discharged me on a Friday evening on 1/2 of my pain medication dose without telling me. When I needed pain medication at the rehab, I couldnt get relief. I eventually found out that Dr McCall had cut my pain medication in half. The very least he could have done is to tell me so I would know what to expect. I am an RN. I do know about good patient care.

Dr. McCall represented the high level of professionalism that I’ve come to expect from the Middle Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic. He answered all of my questions and clearly told me what to expect from having surgery on a torn rotator cuff. My physical therapist told me that I was progressing faster than average. I attribute at least part of that to Dr. McCall’s skill as a surgeon.Dr.McCall treated me for knee problems several years ago. I was very impressed and so I was pleased to have Dr. McCall as my doctor again. He treated a member of my family, who also thought highly of Dr. McCall.You can’t go wrong with any of the doctors at MTB&J. I highly recommend MTB&J for any person who needs orthopedic treatment.

I did not have to wait. I was seen by Dr. Scott McCall. He was very friendly, professional & my wife says very good looking. He quickly accessed my problem & took the necessary steps of treatment. He explained every thing as he was treating me. I will see him again if I need to & I greatly recommend him & his staff.

When I called for a appointment I got one within a couple of days. When I arrived at the office a nurse took all of my information and put it in the computer. I found Dr. McCall several years ago by chance and I am so glad I did. He did my right knee replacement and I was up and about the next day. In 10 days I was walking without a cane. In 6 weeks I was able to walk up stairs. In 3 months I was doing some strenuous hiking and even a bit of rappelling. I have more mobility and NO problems with it. I am looking forward to my left knee next spring. I would have had it done much sooner if it was not for this crazy pandemic. I live in Shelbyville and he is worth the 90 minute drive.

I had a partial knee replacement done in 2008 from Dr. McCall and I’m still doing great with it. He also did my shoulder surgery a few years ago, and I’m doing good with that also. He has a great bed side manner and when you’re going through something as scary as surgery it’s nice to have a doctor who takes great care of you. I’m needing a full replacement on my other knee now and wouldn’t have it done by anyone else. His office staff and nurses are amazing also. Great facility!

Dr.,Scott McCall MD is the best. I had to see Dr. McCall for the first time this past Friday with severe knee pain from a fall I had at work. I left his office feeling so much better, yes, I had injections that would take awhile before I actually felt relief, and yes, I do need surgery, but I felt so much better because he explained everything that would be involved , and really took his time talking with me. So now, I fully understand what my treatment will be up until the time that I DO have the surgery . It really makes a difference when a physician takes their time with a patient and you certainly can tell if they truly do care. Thank you Dr. McCall and also his staff.
