I knew I needed a total knee replacement, but put it off as long as humanly possible. A few months ago, I was referred to Mid Tennessee Bone and Joint, and Dr. Shirley was recommended. He made me feel comfortable and confident that I would gain the ability for a higher level of activity, which is very important to me since I have four young grandchildren! I am now six weeks post surgery. I have full range of motion and couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Shirley’s care. I’m well on my way to that more active lifestyle.

Dr. McCall has always been compassionate and attentive to my needs. He always takes the time needed to answer my questions and concerns. If I call his office with a medical or medication concern, my call is always answered in a timely manner. A big thank you to Dr. McCall and his entire staff T Middle Tennessee Bone and Joint. I started seeing Dr. Shirley for my left knee pain after having a horrible surgery experience from Franklin Bone and Joint Clinic in 2020. Dr. Shirley has done knee surgeries for three of my family members and they have not had any issues since their surgeries. They all sing his praises. He is truly the nicest doctor I have ever met. He sits right there with me and explains everything from why my knee could be having issues a year after my surgery and he explains every scenario of what I could be facing moving forward. He is very thorough and so kind. I wish I would have made the choice to see him last year when my knee issue started. But at least I have him now and I know without a doubt he will do whatever needs to be done to do what’s best for me moving forward.

Well this group of doctors are all outstanding and really take great care and concern for their patients. I injured myself while out of state and they were ready to see me as soon as I got back for a follow up. I’ll see you again in about 3 weeks DrPettit and I appreciate you taking me in right away

Dr. Watson was such a wonderful doctor to have. I have struggled many years with the same ankle injury and he was able to fix it and give me some relief that I needed. He was kind, thoughtful, and explained everything to the T. He had back-up plans, and even back-up plans for those. His nurses and staff were kind as well and always made me feel like they were listening and always answered my questions. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Dr. Wade is a wonderful doctor and accomplished surgeon. Ive been very pleased with my knee replacement after three months of recovery. Id also like to say that even though this type of surgery produces a long scar, my scar is more even and fading faster than some Ive seen in patients of other doctors, I think because he used a lot more staples.

I had a left hip replacement. I highly recommend Dr. Shirley and the staff at MTBJ for this surgery. From the start to the finish, they listened, they communicated so I understood, there was a class to explain what to expect, the day of surgery the whole team took excellent care of me, and Dr. Shirley replaced my hip. I was up and on my feet the same day. It all went just as Dr. Shirley said it would. After the typical update to my file, (it had been five years since we last visit) I was led to the X-ray lab for a new set of to images. DR. Shirley analyzed the condition of my knees and administered a shot of an anti inflammatory to each knee...WONDERFUL...I could have hopped, skipped and jumped right after my appointment. As a matter of fact I did it some squats in the elevator - to test the effects of the injection.The front desk staff were very professional and yet friendly, same for the nurses supporting the doctor.Again WONDERFUL, I recommend the Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic to anyone who has those types of problems.

Dr. Adams is excellent at what he does! He is, hands down, the best doctor I’ve had in my 14 year battle with chronic shoulder pain. At my first visit he asked when and how the very first injury happened to my shoulder. He got right down to business and ordered an MRI to see exactly what he was going to be working with. Just a few hours after my MRI I got a call from Dr. Adams’ nurse letting me know that I need a full shoulder replacement and that his office will be getting the authorization from the VA to perform the much needed surgery. Within days I got another from his nurse asking me when I would like to schedule the surgery. My surgery was a success and I’m well on my way to having a fully functional shoulder again Thanks to Dr. Adams!

Best place to go when your bones and joints are messed up. All the doctors there are great. I trust them to help me when I need them.

Dr. Davidson did a great job, i had glass in my foot for 12 weeks! He got it out and the surgery was super fast, and everyone is really nice. The place is very professional and clean. My second time being referred here!

I dont typically leave poor reviews. This is not my opinion of what happened it is their office rules. I called for an appointment and waited on hold for 10 minutes before getting someone. I have two issues plantar (foot) and tennis elbow. The lady told me she would have to schedule me two separate appointments because they cant see someone for two different body parts in the same day. Now I am sure this has to do with billing but this is horrible customer service. I am paying you for your services but for some reason they dont think we are the customer anymore. We are simply a paycheck and this is proof. My time is worth something too. So I will just take my money elsewhere.

If I can find out what is wrong with my back I will re-evaluate my thoughts. Everyone was very nice but he did get upset with me. Im very frustrated!

Surgery went smoothly, everyone was kind and thoughtful. I went home that afternoon and recovery was about 5 weeks. Dr. Shirley was well informed and spoke with me in depth before and after the surgery answering any and every question. Compared to shoulder replacement, the hip was a picnic! Dr. McCall cares about the patient and not just about getting paid. The reason I go to him is because I can trust him to do the right thing. When a doctor isnt afraid to tell you yes you need surgery but for your safety I wont do it until you lose at least 60 pounds, thats the doctor I want because he is honest with you. Dr. McCall has a patient for life.

Dr Q has taken care of me three times now with spinal fusions. Amazing bedside manner and very easy to speak with. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I drove from AL for this appointment, and it was well worth it. I have already recommended this facility and doctor to many of my friends and family.

Walk in with swollen foot. Thought it might be broken since I have neuropathy really badly and this was a different hurt. Xrays were taken and Dr Davidson said it was not a break but a contusion. Gave me a boot for couple weeks and told me to be sure and call if it did not improve. Very nice, professional and made me feel that I mattered.

Dr. Davidson is always so kind and understanding. He is very conservative and tries to avoid surgery if at all possible. He never tries to talk me into anything but also explains everything fully. He answers all of my questions completely. I’m told by a close friend that he is an elder at his church and is a good, Christian man. It definitely reflects in the way he practices. Dr. Davidson repaired my husband’s torn Achilles’ tendon and he has done wonderfully with it.

Dr. Pettit was amazing. A doctor that takes his time with each patient. Also did a physical examination to be as accurate as possible which I always prefer. Will always come back!

Dr. Adams is the shoulder guru in the country. I had him sitting front row at my wedding if that tells you anything at all. Great doctor. Great personality. Great bedside manners. Youll love him cause they dont get any better. Trust me, Ive had 83 surgeries. I know. Doctor Adams fixed me to where I could actually have a normal life.

I sustained a tib/fib fracture that required surgery at Maury Regional. Dr. Pettit performed my surgery, and his pre-op bedside manner was really calming and made me feel very safe. The next day, he came by my hospital room to check in on me. I had 3 follow-ups with him at Mid-TN Bone & Joint in Columbia and always felt so supported and cared for by him and his team. The few times I called with questions or prescription requests, I received prompt answers. A complicated fracture requiring surgery is never anyone’s plan, but I am so thankful for the care I received. Dr. Pettit was been the ideal specialist to guide me through what was a horrible situation.

Surgery went smoothly, Dr. Hunter was able to save my thumb which had been crushed under farm equipment. There was mix up with meds being ordered but it was resolved the next morning.

Everyone involved in my visits have been professional and polite

They new what exactly what to do to find out my issue and then Dr. Shirley then knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it! I have had this issue about a year now and the doctor I went to before hand did not have the knowledge to know what and how to resolve my issue. My mother was in for a recheck after falling and cracking her tailbone. Check in was good even tho we were late, the Dr.still allowed her to be seen.Im not sure if bc we were late that he didnt seem totake much time with her. Im not sure too that he listened to everything she was telling him. Next visit we shall see if the visit is better or not.Ill give you 2.5 for now. See you in a few weeks!

Due to an accident, I have had to have several reparitive hand and wrist surgeries. I chose the Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint in Columbia Tn. Dr. Hunter has done all of my surgeries, and everything went great! Dr. Hunter explained all the procedures so I knew just what to expect. Everything went perfect.
