I was very hesitant to make an appointment, as I had previously had some bad experiences trying to get help with me teeth, however, I had received a very good recommendation to go here from a coworker. From the moment I got inside, I could tell this would be a different experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the very beginning. Due to the condition of my teeth, I had to have a panoramic X-ray done, which my insurance wouldn’t cover as I had already had one within the last two years- but it was needed, so they waived the charge for me. They explained everything that would be done, in great detail, which eased my mind a lot, and they never once made me feel bad for the condition of my teeth- which was genetic. I also made some extra follow up appointments for some things I was unsure about, which were of no cost to me since it was within the allotted time from my starting appointment. I also had to have an entirely new set of dentures made for me at my final appointment, as the shape of my mouth itself had changed from the time my first molds were made, which was also at no additional cost to me, which was a huge lifesaver. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the work I had done here, and all of the team members who helped me. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else but here to anyone who needs extensive work done.

The doctors and nurses are absolutely amazing, I’ve never been treated with so much respect and never has anyone ever listened to my questions and worries but this place! They absolutely rock. I recently had to have my top plate replaced. I went to DDS Dentures and Implant Solutions in Columbia. The experience was amazing! Very friendly staff all around and affordable. I am very pleased with my new top plate and highly recommend them to anyone needing Dentures!!!

I just had the dentures i got in March relined so they fit better- I was worried when i expressed concern about how they fit and pushed my lips forward that i would be told that was just how it was going to look- but in one day they took new impressions lined up my bite and they look and feel better than I ever imagined they could!!! I had and appointment some time back this last winter. The of my appointment was a bad snowy day but I was going to go anyway. Before I left I got a call from someone that works in the front to make appointments etc. She said they need to cancel my appointment due to weather. I was ok with that and asked her about rescheduling and she said she would call or I could call her another day to do that. She said she was at home and could not do it at that time. I felt that if they cancelled it that they should call so I waited for several weeks and did not get a call. I then went on line to their website and scheduled and appointment through their portal. It has now been several months and have not heard anything. I give up and will be going somewhere else. If that is how professional they are I do not want to be their patient. AND SURELY THEY WONT BLAME IT ALL ON COVID!!!! So aggravating is the competence of some.

As you go through the process they are constantly explaining what they are doing and what to expect next. I have had more traumatic experiences getting a single tooth filled. They pulled 13 teeth on top. The dentures are great. I will continue to use their services in the future.

WORST PLACE EVER!!! I took a friend to this office. 1st theyre isnt any patient privacy. Everything, including dental chairs at in a big open room and the chairs are back to back. This is a HIPPA violation. 2nd the DA talked down to her, and the dentist told her not to come back as they would do nothing for her. She has 3 teeth that need to be pulled. She is a cash pay with money in hand. When she told both the Da and the Dr that they said, and I quote, YOU have money?,as if to say because she has tattoos and colored hair they she couldnt possibly be anything but trash . She left in tears.

Dr. Shawn Tolnay, DMD, DICOI, FICOL, FAGD went over the top to ensure I had a pleasant experience despite being. high risk patient because of all the metal plates l have. After meeting with him the first time I knew that I was in good hands and also going to get my smile repaired here. My teeth look great as you can see in the photo and the entire team did an exceptional job. Last I would highly recommend them for a pair of dentures and to rediscover your smile again!

I have had horrible false teeth for over 25 years. After my appointment with DDS I finally have teeth that fit without any type of glue. The people who work there are some of the greatest compassionate people who make you feel comfortable and they will treat you with respect and make you feel like family. It is well worth the drive mine is over one hundred miles and I will return when needed.

They are great. They helped me get what I needed at a reasonable price. They were also very kind and courteous. I also love the fact that I was able to have my denture the same day. In the future when Im ready to do bottom dentures I will be going to them and I will let them do the extractions too.

Not satisfied left with no dentures and two anchors under my bottom gumCost over $8,000 the nurses were amazing carring and kind the last Dr. I had made me never want to go back was rude hateful. And hurt me and acted like I was a bother because I was in pain and flinched. Then they tell me I need to have more money well check this out not until you make it right I have no teeth........ Love the staff. From the girl up front who worked out my insurance issues to Jenny in the back who is wonderful and relatable. I had to have 14 teeth pulled and the dentist was quick, caring and efficient. I have had zero problems getting back in for small denture adjustments. This place is great.

I got my first implant from DDS, after Moberly MO, Smile Dental, botched a $1500 root canal and crown job.No complaints about DDS. Good, professional treatment and it feels great having a full smile again.

The place was closed. Never received a notification they would be closed until 3 hours after my appointment. They claim they called me, but they didnt call, text, or email me. I was sure to check all before i left to be sure i didnt waste my time. Very unprofessional.

The lady that helped me yesterday was so nice and so patient. She did a great job at making sure I was taken care of and that things were right.

Five stars says it all! Especially at this time with the Covid 19 when we all need to be careful of being physically close to others. I highly recommend this practice in all respects.

To whom it may concern,I would like to begin by clarifying that I am not a patient of this facility. However, I do have a vested interest as a loved one is currently a patient. I have elected to maintain anonymity of myself and my loved one to prevent any prejudice if we do continue treatment at this clinic.About a week ago I was absolutely mortified at the condition of one of the employees working at this clinic. An assistant by the name of Jenny was clearly inebriated and unfit to be trusted with the care of patients, yet she was allowed to continue work. Her speech was slurred, motor functions more than obviously impaired, and at multiple points she was close enough to pick up the stench of alcohol.After several failed attempts at taking molds, another assistant was brought in to relieve her and was able to perform the needed tasks. I can not believe that this went unnoticed by her fellow staff, especially after the inability to perform and being relieved of duties. I fear for the well-being of other patients who have been given this care in the past or may be subjected to it in the future, especially considering the majority of their patient body is the elderly and frail.I have attempted to reach the dental board this past week and after not really getting anywhere I have decided to leave this review as a warning for current patients of record and those who may be considering this facility for their future dental needs.-Concerned Citizen

Nothing but problems with my upper denture. I was told there was nothing they could do anymore after my rear upper implant wasnt for enough back due to my sinus cavity.How could this have not been foreseen beforehand as an issue?They look good in the mirror but having issues eating is what I needed four implant dentures for.... not looks. A lot of money wasted!

I was bowled over by the professionalism and friendliness I experienced. They treated me with respect every step of the procedure. I offered them a challenge they hadnt experienced and they met and exceeded what could be expected. I definitely recommend them to anyone needing any dental work. I was there for hours and they were respectful to everyone I heard them work with.I returned five days later and was treated completely differently. Guess they got my money got me out of there and wanted me to stay gone. I only came back for a few adjustments, you would have thought I wanted them to remake my lower denture. Well, Ill be doing my own adjustments from now on.

Even though I was almost 1/2 hour late they Managed to get me in and completed the work in one day. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I was not made to feel uncomfortable in any way. Five Stars

The staff is always so friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate the needs of the patient. It is obvious that the staff like one another and you get a sense of teamwork which maximizes the amount of time you spend at the office. The dentist take their time to explain the pros/cons of the recommended treatment plan. Dr. Prather is so knowledgeable, skilled, he shows a great deal of empathy for his patient, and is genuinely kind. There are pricing options to help someone find the best choice for the right price. I’ve had chronic dental issues so subsequently have been in other offices. I wouldn’t choose any other dental practice in the area.

The customer service was beyond impeccable! I did not have to wait very long to be seen. The young lady that assisted me was absolutely phenomenal ! I was very comfortable with my doctor! He explained everything to me so thoroughly that my questions were a bare minimal. The pricing is affordable and they do everything they can to work with you financially to make sure you have the smile you want and deserve!

This isnt your typical dental office. Everyone was friendly and extremely nice. While in the back, I could hear the exchanges between employees and other patients, they were genuinely concerned about their comfort and well-being. I was treated the same way.We started my impressions around 10 and my dentures were ready at 3 the same day! The dentures were beautiful,very realistic looking. Mine needed some minor adjustments and my hygienist made sure that she got the perfect fit. I honestly had the best experience with them! Their prices are more than reasonable I really cant say enough good things about them!!!

I had to go in for an emergency visit. I had no idea what was about to happen. So I was a bundle of nerves. Long story, short, I had to have an extraction. The price was so reasonable especially for it being scheduled an hour before and me being a new patient. I felt very little pain and when I did the doctor numbed me a bit more and I felt absolutely nothing. Another big plus, everyone there was amazing.

The staff is very caring and patient. They never make you feel like you should be embarrassed by your dental needs. They were very accommodating to times. They went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was perfect. I would recommend them for any den tdd al service you need.

My mother in law had a horrible experience with this company. Unprofessionalism and lack of concern for the Patient. The dentures were not wearable and the nurse/assistant that did the impressions was rude and made it the Patients fault because her inexperience caused her to do the impressions 3 times, after being unsuccesfulthe first 2 times. My 80 year old mother in law practically had a panic attack after the horrifying experience. Then they refused to fix them or refund her.

I had my first visit today and I just love everyone there. Tim did my molds, Linda helped as well. Tim answered my questions more than once for me. They all always had smiles and never acted like they didnt want to be there. I was treated with respect the whole time. Dr. Prather explained everything that would happen and it ended up I needed some minor surgery, but everything worked out great. I will refer everyone to DDS. The front desk ladies, sorry ladies I dont remember your names, are super nice and the finance manager, sorry I dont remember your name but super nice as well. I hope I got everyone I encountered. I have been going to see Dr. Nielson and his staff for the past few months for a lot of corrective dental work. Before my first appointment I was embarrassed and absolutely terrified to show them how bad my mouth was. Every single team member I have encountered has been unbelievably kind, reassuring, gentle and informative throughout every step. I have been to multiple dentists in my life and no other practice has made me feel more comfortable and at ease than DDS Dental. Not only is the staff absolutely wonderful, but their price point is by FAR the most affordable I have ever come across. Today, after receiving my temporary partial, for the first time in years, I no longer feel like hiding, I feel like myself again, and I can NOT stop smiling!!! Looking forward to finishing up my treatment plan, thank you to Dr. Nielson, Jonah, Rocky, Linda and Krystal for everything you have done and for the things that have still yet to be done!!!

I have very old type of implant which they reclined. Their lab is located in this facility which is very helpful. With a great team effort I now have a great fitting denture. Linda who does the adjustments after they come from the lab did a great job and the lab techs made sure my bite was correct. Many thanks.

I called up DDS Dentures + Implants Solutions hoping they would take me in for an exam because I had cracked and lost part of my crown. I had the misfortune of breaking off this piece of crown on a Thursday night, and a lot of dental care locations (including my own dentist) are not open for appointments on Friday.While they are not the expected place that I would look (and where I would guess a lot of us would overlook if we didnt have an implant or denture) they not only took me seriously, they got me into a morning appointment, took my ex-rays (for free) and then I had a very professional and reassuring appointment with both a dental hygienist and dentist.They specialize in services I dont use- but they took me in as one of their own, and for that I will always have them in my reference book. Who knows, I might need an implant or denture fitting. And I already know who Im going to.

I have to start off saying these are some of the nicest people. I came in to have dental implants. I had the called 4 on 4 top and bottom. They work well with you and never felt rushed or pushed to make a sale. I had looked at other places to have this expensive service done and found other that didnt care just wanted your money right off the bat. I am going on a little over 2 month with my new smile and loving it. April I go back to get the final touch done. Thanks again to Robert and all the wonderful staff.

I received my permanent upper denture yesterday. Im extremely disappointed in the fit; however, I was told it was caused by the uniqueness of the pallet in the roof of my mouth. DDS staff are always very accommodating and offer options. I guess I may have to consider implants if I dont want to use adhesives the rest of my life.

Just had an extraction this morning. These guys are unbelievably good. I liked the staff, Doctors and office on consultation visit. But now having the procedure done, I am also so pleased with their great communication, positive attitudes and expert skills. I was way to nervous going in, if I had known just how professional and careful the team would be I wouldnt have sweated it at all. Usually XRays are done by those annoying gag reflex inducing little cards you stick in your mouth right, DDS Dentures + Implant Solutions of Columbia uses a non invasive machine, nothing gets stuck in your already tender mouth. I will refer this Dental office to the moon. I am so grateful to have been tipped off to the BEST experience one could have when needing to do a grueling thing such as having a tooth extracted. I already plan to use them for my regular maintenance and cleaning. I trust in them completely.

My husband and I needed some work done on our teeth and a friend recommended DDS Dentures and Implant Solutions to us. We both went in and Omar got us in for our xrays. We sat down with Tim and he gave us several different options on how we could approach the work we needed to get done. After we picked our plan they got us into see Dr. Crain right away and he was so nice and professional. Put me at ease completely and got my issue resolved fast and effectively. The whole staff here was incredible and really took the time to figure out the best thing for us and the best value for our money. So glad we finally found a dentist we can trust and that actually cares about their clients. Not just trying to get as much money as they can out of us for things we dont really need. I just had a very bad experience with another local practice so the professional, caring manner of this office was a blessed turn-around from the last place. Weve definitely found our dentist! This is my first visit to the Columbia DDS for a cleaning and exam with a follow up x-ray. I truly appreciate the time and attentive detail to the cleaning, but just as importantly was the gentleness. There are several crowns causing snagged floss and significant pressure to push/force the floss to the gum line. She suggested another option. The dentist was expedient and gentle also. He was intent to make sure a spot on the x-ray was not causing me problems.

Very nice place and very friendly staff. It was my first cleaning since I moved up here from the Lake of the Ozarks. The hygienist came in on her off day to meet my appointment and she was very good. Ive also had very good experiences with those who have worked on my dentures. I went to the office in Camdenton for 3-4 years and when I moved to Columbia my records were transferred here and Im very happy here!!

Broke my tooth and crown off Sunday while eating and I got an appointment the very next day! Dr. Prather recommended I get an extraction with an implant crown done.
