My wife went here in March of 2021 for heart issues to get a checkup and heart monitor. It was nearly impossible to get an appointment because nobody was answering the phones. Some woman had to drive to the office to make an appointment change since they dont answer their phones. The doctor was worthless and didnt write a single notation in his chart when she explained her medical history and issues. He acted like he didnt care at all. He thought it was irrelevant that she had high blood pressure and gave no suggestions. All he did was suggest an EKG and a stress test. Then, I had to call back for the test results since they never gave them to us but they made sure to send the bill right away to get my money! There was no follow-up on what to do going forward after receiving the results back from them. Do not use Cardiovascular Specialists of Central Maryland. I would recommend literally anyone instead. Pathetic service.

First, Dr. Weiss is awesome. He’s genuinely caring, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. The gentleman from Ethiopia in the nuclear medicine department is wonderful too, as he was upbeat and I could tell he truly wanted me to feel relaxed and comfortable. They are the two good things there based on my experience, hence a two star review.Everything else there has been a disaster. First of all, Andy (or she may spell it Andi) is the rudest nurse I’ve ever had. She was not nice, she was not gentle, and since I was in such a foreign situation with nuclear tests, I had a panic attack and almost passed out. They had to lay me down and then she’s getting frustrated with me for passing out! Like I could help it lady. When the doctor finally arrived to do the test, she immediately got nice and chipper. However, when he wasn’t around, she was mean again. Hmmm. Also, when I had my treadmill stress test, they didn’t tell me not to take my beta blocker beforehand, so we couldn’t get my heart rate high enough. So, that test was all for naught and the slipped disks in my lower back really appreciated it………Overall, you will get the care you need IF you see Dr. Weiss. Just don’t expect a lot of love, kindness, compassion, and caring from the support staff.

I appreciate the care that Ive received from Dr. Groman. However, it took 3 days to schedule an appointment or tests. Theres no number to call to speak directly to a scheduler. You have to be available when they call or else you may wait another 2 days and many slots are taken by then.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrew Weiss at Cardiovascular Specialists of Central Maryland for one year now. Dr. Weiss is totally awesome! I find him to be exceptionally smart, kind, caring, thorough, and responsive. I am very happy to have him as part of my medical care team and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a cardiologist.

I wouldn’t trust my dog to go here. My interactions have been with Dr. Kim and Dr. Chudnovsky. Dr. Kim is very condescending and arrogant and I had no choice but to deal with him as he was the doctor on call. All of this while in the emergency room in the middle of COVID. If you are already dealing with something as serious as heart issues the last thing you need is someone who has the bedside manner of a tick. Our US healthcare system is beyond broken.

I am writing this for my husband Frank Ecker. This is not his first negative/bad experience with this office. The first time was when he arrived at the office at the time of the appointment but one of the two people at the front desk gets up from her desk and goes into the back, out of sight, and stays there for 10 minutes. Come to find out that it was her birthday. The other individual at check-in was dealing with an elderly man that must have had some mental issues and he couldn’t comprehend what he was being told and couldn’t find his insurance information. By the time, 10 minutes later, the 2nd person at the front desk came back and signed in my husband. The doctor, Gorman, sent a message to the receptionist, that since my husband was now late he would have to reschedule another appointment. My husband requested the doctor to call him so that he could discuss what had actually taken place but that didn’t happen. This happened several years ago. Today’s experience continues the incompetence in this office. When the appointment was set-up various questions were asked. However, they didn’t ask the question if anyone had been in our home without a mask. Now the answer to that question was yes, our daughter, who is in the medical field and has been very cautious with her surroundings and follows all of the medical guidelines. They did not ask any additional questions to clarify his answer, they just canceled his appointment and said that someone would call him back tomorrow to reschedule. If the question relative to the “Mask” was important, and it is, that should have been asked upon the initial appointment request and a follow-up telephone appointment confirmation. Support staff is definitely a problem in this office. I just visited two doctors on Tuesday and another doctor on Wednesday and had none of this nonsense at my appointments.

I am wondering how it got two stars! It is the worst center that you will ever see.

Contacting the office via phone is extremely frustrating and be prepared to wait on hold for a long time. That being said, the Telemedicine appointments work very well and the care and follow-up from the physicians is excellent.

One star is far too many stars. The customer service I received was simply atrocious. I went in for a simple appointment and have still not received my results three months later, and not for lack of trying. They have an online portal which allows patients to receive results electronically, but my results were never uploaded. I have tried calling for weeks on end, but the customer service is remote from the office location and can only do so much. My call backs from the office have been at times which I have explicitly told them were inconvenient for me, and several days later than I was told. Finally, when I was told by the operations manager to give her a call to get my results sent, she simply did not answer her phone any of the 5 times throughout a two week period that I tried calling. Absolutely awful customer service and relations, and I still do not have a copy of my results.Oh, and almost forgot to mention... they sent me a bill for several hundred dollars for an appointment which was covered by insurance (and confirmed at the time of my appointment). I had to call back and appeal multiple times to the office for them to acknowledge that the bill was sent in error, so was almost charged several hundred dollars just because.Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other specialist. Even cable companies have better customer service.

While the original Doctor, Dr. Kim was very nice, the support staff and clinical manager are incompetent. I have never in my life seen such madness - authoritarian administrators tone deaf without consideration of the care of patients or medicine. I would also post a negative rating if I could.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. One star is definitely giving too much considering the lack of professionalism and communication from the administration management in this practice. This is unfortunate because the providers are decent. I agree with the other reviewer that the customer service skills of the administrative staff are absolutely atrocious. My husband started seeing a provider in the practice after having double bypass surgery in May. I had some concerns and questions about stopping medication for a colonoscopy procedure in November. Tried for over two months to get a call back from the provider and could only get the secretary to speak with me. I visited the office extremely distraught after this procedure ended up getting cancelled the day of due to miscommunication over the medication I had tried to contact their office about. I was handled in professional manner but without any empathy or concern for my husband as a patient. I followed up with Jennifer Bates, the operations manager in a detailed email describing my concerns over the care of my husband and lack of communication and never received a response. It appears that the staff could care less about keeping my husband as a patient. He has subsequently switched practices. The worst administrative and communication staff I have ever encountered in the medical field in over 30 years.

Dr. Scwartz - The doctor was late for the stress test and then gave me no feedback until I asked. Seemed like it was a bother for him to administer the test. The nurse was fine, the office was clean, the front desk was nice. Two starts for them, none for the doctor.

The support staff and office team in this office is horrific. The manager, Jennifer Bates is very unprofessional and rude. The receptionists are very rude and nasty. The doctor Friedman is very kind. Unfortunately the staff that runs the office should all be fired. I’ve seen them treat patients horribly. There are poor ratings on their web site. Please seek medical care elsewhere.

I agree with the reviews that say that the practice’s customer service skills are atrocious. The office’s first and it would seem only priority is getting paid based on the number of signs posted and the way their letters are written. Front desk staff is aloof and rude. Scheduling department gave out incorrect information regarding test scheduling. Woman handling new patient interaction and insurance precert is aggressive and rude. Only had one good interaction with a staff member over the phone and that is when they called me to reschedule my appt.My last practice had none of this baffoonery. I’ll be looking for another practice.

Very poor to no communication. Keep calling to cancel an appointment or to get feedback on results and I get 0 communication. No one from the office ever answers and its constantly routed to a call center that cant do anything but ask that the office return your call. Very upset with this place. I get more communication at a Veterinarians office than here.

This place scams you and your insurance. If you have any elderly friends or family please urge them to check their bills and insurance and go elsewhere. They should be shut down for medical billing fraud. I am STILL waiting for my money to be refunded after 3 months, unbelievable.
