Location is huge. My favorite location in MD. Always place a order at PLNT burger and then shop and pick up when done. If it’s nice outside you can grab a bite and sit out at the park while the kids play at the playground and look out at the water. There a live concerts too during the summer so you can always enjoy that. Just an overall nice atmosphere and place to be ☺️

Horribly overpriced. For example an egg is an egg. Price them here then check Giant or Safeway or pick your alternative. Just as nice for half the price and you wont live longer eating Whole Food food no matter what they wish you to believe.

Friendly staff and nice selection of organic groceries. I’ve been to bigger Whole Foods, but this one is comparable give its size. Location is very central, easy to get to from 29/32/175. Plenty of parking. The best part is its next to lake front in Columbia, which also features an ice water fountain and playground for the kids. In fact, while mom does the grocery shopping, I play with my daughter at the playground.

Bought ground beef Saturday. Planned to eat on Monday. Found ground beef to be spoiled. Don’t recommend buying ground beef from here.

Love this Whole Foods. its clean and bright. Its big enough where the online shoppers arent running you over as youre shopping. Great parking as well. Staff is knowledgeable and sell to REALLY want to help.

Customer service was non-existent. It used to be a good store, offering a nice experience. Now the store is just a retail facade for Amazon’s online business. Lots of people working, but not there to serve the in-person shopper. Very disappointing. I will spend my money at Wegmans, where customer service is consistently great.

Whole foods is always fantastic when I go. From the food to the service provided. The only problem that I have is the prices. Its way too much and because of it I often find myself shopping in trader Joes. I wish they would lower the prices a bit but I get it. Change this Amazon.

Most of my shopping here is done online. Groceries are expensive. Make sure u look at quantities and sizes / weight of items. Sometimes the packages are smaller than the average grocery store sizes. Dont get me wrong you get what u pay for. My main reason for shopping here is fresh organic fruits and vegetables. The few times Ive gone in Im impressed. Its immaculate.

Beauty is typically subjective. Is this flower beautiful? I say so, but you might not. This however is not the case when looking upon the magnificence of this Whole Foods. I rarely rave about a place, but I was left with my jaw on the ground upon entering this holy ground. For one, the building itself is beautiful. Stunning. And, right when you enter, you see the full power of technology infused with capitalism. It does seem a bit overwhelming at first, but the myriad of shelves packed with organic products really make you think about how far we have come. Besides the vastness of the selection, the actual content is fantastic as well. You name it and, if it is organic or healthy, it is likely there. There are chefs, fresh baked goods, and a 2 by 2 of the salad bar/hot food bar. Not to mention that the food is extremely good and fairly affordable. I would say it can be possible to eat a lot of meals there without going absolutely bankrupt. All in all, I love this place and hope my review demonstrates it. The Whole Foods near me doesnt come close to matching the greatness of this one, making me very much want to switch. But, not all things come to fruition. 100 stars.

Its ok. It was much better before Amazon took over. Now there are always long lines. They closed one of the front doors and shutdown the register near the food bar making it more difficult to grab a quick lunch. They also used to have a good sandwich bar. And to get a fair price you have to be an Amazon Prime member.

I cant wait until they re-open the balcony area overlooking Lake Elkhorn and the music stage. It was a great place to eat from the salad bar and listen to live music.

Great convenient location around Columbia Lake. I often go there to get my groceries and then walk or bike around Columbia Lake and relax there. Best times are weekday evenings because weekends are quite crowded but even with the crowds there, there are plenty of checkout options. Overall a nice place to shop.

Like the place and the food etc. I cannot stand the ignorant people who shop there. There must be a special club of arrogant sods who shop there. Not this arrogant sod any more.

Horrible! The place where you used to be able to eat while looking out at the lake front is now basically an Amazon Warehouse with metal shelves. The food was horrible! raw brussel sprouts, shrimp salad was tough, the bbq chicken breast was too tough to cut. I basically wasted $30. !!! My last trip!!! I posted one star becaus I had to. Should be negative stars . The staff is very friendly and helpful!!

Started going on advice from a family member. The prices are higher than supermarkets but the quality of their products are much better.

I dont get the hype. Its like a Wegmans or Trader Joes wannabe. Very limited selection of items. More expensive than Giant. Have to go to other stores to get the rest of my items since the selection is so limited. I got the ready made chicken, broccoli and Mac and cheese dinner from the deli. Tasted bland and chicken was tough.

Absolutely love this whole foods location. My wife and I have been shopping here for years and we’ve never had a negative experience. It seems they have great people, great products, and a great location... what more can you ask for...? Keep up the good work.

A mixed bag. The produce department at this store is a disorganized mess.: items with no signs (I had two just this morning), items with the wrong signs, items with the wrong stickers, sales items for this particular store that are not present in this particular store. They have a great selection of health-conscious and earth-conscious items, including easily the best selection of organic items in the area. Since Amazon took over, some sale prices are quite good (organic for the price of conventional elsewhere) although other sales can be a bit silly, like $30/lb cheese on sale for $27/lb. Produce can be badly under-ripe, which for some items (like pineapple, which does not ripen after it is picked) makes them unusable. This is not a complete grocery store so you will need to shop elsewhere for some items.

This location is the best I have ever visited. Its spacious, clean and offers great variety. Not much from the employees as far as customer service but overall awesome services! I went to use kiosk for license and was very impressed with selections I did some shopping.

Quick service, friendly people and I had no issues with them and my medical alert dog. They can be a bit pricey on certain items though. I highly recommend their delivery service through Amazon Prime.

Whole Food stores are for people that are obsessed with healthy food and they pay for it. For me it is way too healthy. There are no sodas, no basic things you would see in a giant or Safeway. My wife goes here for a certain items but for me I would rather go to Giant or Wegmans and get real food.

We order a cake. They didnt make it and when we come to pick it up, they told us that someones already picked it up...

Ive seen people behind the meat counters with their noses poking out of their masks and some without it on at all until a customer comes up to the case. Theyre literally breathing over food we consume without proper coverings. Covid-19 is still a thing.

Both subject to food contamination and serious health concern for Vegans. And removing the salmon flakes and still selling the products IS not acceptable!

Whole Foods always has those hard to find Oyster mushrooms. The vegan chicken salad is also amazing.

I kinda went in thinking all stores are created equal, but I did have more employees here engage with me in a friendly and helpful way than the downtown location I usu go to. One worker approached me to offer help and another worker paused to compliment my outfit. Initially, I was a little put off by all the Amazon shoppers clogging the store, but they still make room to be nice to in-the-flesh shoppers, so it changed my impression.

Whole foods is were I do most of my shopping at because Im a vegan and they have everything that I need.

Ordered Chef Chloe Coscarellis Vegan Meal for my daughter who is Vegetarian for her Thanksgiving Dinner. When preparing her meal items an hour before dinner was to be served I realized I was given a side dish that included Bacon. Definitely the wrong item was included in the meal package. The problem is that the catering items are not labeled so not easy to distinguish what you are receiving until you are home and ready to open and heat your meal and by then its too late. When I contacted customer service, I was told oh sorry we will refund the item that was wrong. That was not the point I was given a meat dish in my Vegan catering order! It was too late to get the correct item I paid for or at least a substitute vegan item. This was a big mistake on their part and I am completely disappointed with Whole Foods Catering lack of concern. Be careful if you have dietary restrictions or beliefs when ordering prepared meals from Whole Foods.

The instacarters NEED TO GO. I have always shopped at Whole Foods even before amazon owned it. I willingly paid extra on everything to pay for the experience. Well due to rude instacarters this experience has been ruined. You can’t even go in there without 5 instacarters getting in your way and stopping in the middle of the isles and be confused. So now, my fiancé and I shop at Trader Joe’s - instacart free and a great shopping experience!

Love it here. It sits right on the lake front for a beautiful view, especially when eating in the food court. The food is good too, and they have a wide variety of not only dinner/lunch items, but treats like cookies too!

Always a good experience at this Whole Foods. Great variety of all types of food. We love the pizza kitchen- 2 x-large pizzas with up to 4 toppings for around $27-28. The toppings they use are high quality (no canned, sliced black olives, etc), and the crust is consistently good. Large cheese selection, olive bar, fruits & vegies, etc.During normal times (no covid), Whole Foods has a nice place to sit down and eat with open view to lakefront.

The bulk section was reduced but wait time in line was also reduced as well.

You can find some great prices here. The atmosphere is nice.

1 Mens Room toilet for a store of this size is comically cruel. My husband is queued behind 2 other gentlemen, for 15 minutes now.

So you guys have gone to the dark side finally , congrats !!!! The Togo salads have now been jammed into the smallest packaging that it makes it fully impossible to eat without the salad just overflowing and making a compleat mess. This is a choice someone was forced to make because of a bottom line. Even though we !!! The customer pay foe the packaging. But still some number based non thinker decided to source a different package and foul the entire experience . Thank you Whole Foods for not thinking of me “ your customer “ when you make decisions.

I dont know whats going on with whole foods lately but this store is so gross. I just came in to eat at the dining area and read and I was really grossed out. The bathrooms were disgusting. Pee all over all the seats and floors, floors and sink area were dirty, trashs cans had sticky substances on them, and even the Dyson hand driers had some sort of residue on them. This is a sign that this facility hasnt been cleaned in a while.The dining area was also disappointing. The table surfaces were filthy. I went to get a sanitizing wipe to clean my area but they were all out. The counters to get napkins, forks, etc. were filthy as well.Overall I felt really gross being there and I had to leave. Wegmans is a better place to chill and have lunch/dinner. The food might not be as good but hey, at least its clean. Bleh. I felt like I went to McDonalds.And if theyre this dirty with their dining area/bathrooms, the kitchens are probably not far behind.

Always a nice place to find food not offered at regular grocery store chains. Their meals are usually tasty and customer service is always great. Highly recommended.

Glad we have a WF in Columbia- so close to offices and malls. This WF also provides 4 spots for electrical vehicle charging. Nearby you can find bikes for rent. This place does get crowded during Merriweather concerts.

Food bar server disinterested in job. teriyaki wings cold tough and could break your teeth. Asian noodles were cold tasteless and served without stirring up so most of veggies not on plate. Green beans were flavorful but cold and soggy. On the bright side the mac and cheese was tasty warm and well prepared.
