Excellent selection of items you rarely find anywhere else such as whole wheat pie crust and whole grain flax seed blueberry muffins. Premium quality products which come with premium prices. Definitely not a budget store.

Great selection of health and organic food and care items. They even have prepared foods. Prices are on the high side though. Staff is helpful and friendly. Its nice having a place like this to shop in the midst of a suburban community. Its just not typical.

I went to the one in Forest Hill Maryland that went out of business I read peoples reviews and I had experience with expired product also she got mad and didnt want to return bottle of liquid I had for ADHD the person at the register did not want to return my money made it seen. Some of the best sushi in the area, made on site, rotisserie chicken, salads, sandwiches. I’ve been a customer for 21 years. My mom swears by Courtney’s advice for supplements & remedies. Some of the staff have become our friends over the years. Can’t overstate the importance of shopping locally. ♥️

They have high quality health food. Prices are higher than regular grocery but so is the quality. They have a great selection of delicious ready to heat and eat food. There soups are better than home made.

Worth the trip from DC and the prices. This shop has more selections of local honey than any other nearby. They also offer duck eggs and Amish butter. However, it seems odd to me when shops like these, that promote good health, have more than its share of unhealthy customers roaming the floor.

I absolutely love this store. The employees here are always kind and helpful. The shelves seem to always be well stocked. Their holistic section is awesome and would appear to carry more of the things I need than the other big name natural foods store. They even seem to switch up their little treats offered near check out, which is cute. Whenever I have needed help, the one to help me seemed knowledgeable and had recommendations for alternatives when they didnt have a specific thing I was looking for. I will continue to shop here.

I have had to take food back several times because it had expired. Sometimes I just throw it out. This last time the expiration date was July 2020 and I purchased it in January 2021. I took it back and tried to get a credit or replace it with an updated package. But the manager refused because I did not have the receipt. However, in the past I was able to return the outdated food based on the card that I purchased it on. some of the food items have no expiration date on it at all. So you’re really taking a chance when you purchased it. They really need to check on the stuff that’s on the shelf from time to time. I will not be returning to this location.

This store is too expensive, but my review is mostly for their parking lot. They have signs reserving 28 parking spots outside their store. There are NEVER 28 people in this store and this obnoxious move makes people visiting the location for other establishments cram into a small part of the parking lot. It’s insane that they have this many signs and spaces reserved!

Well, for starters I wasnt at davids natural market. However, I have been there before. David Is a nice guy and while davids is expensive. Its worth every Penny. I like to go there every once in a while and get a powerhouse sandwich from the deli. Hope you enjoy!!!

Its clean and neat, they have a decent selection on just about everything Sprouts does. However in some instances there isnt much of a selection. Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂 it will be my new store for sure!

Great place, especially for harder to find and healthier organic items. I love the selection of different flours and oils. They also have an excellent selection of organic frozen foods and a large selection of supplements, if thats your thing. Prices are on the higher end, but thats to be expected. Great local business.

Good stock, wished the staff was a bit less bitter. They have designated parking outside which also is reserved for low emmision cars, but is usually taken over by gas guzzlers all the time... And the staff blatantly denied any intervention. Check out staff is effecient and nice.

This is a nice store but I only come to buy the candy. Everything else is so expensive so I shop elsewhere for those items.

Her advise has help cure several ailments for my family! The staff is always helpful and friendly. I also enjoy the seasonal farmers that come to sell their herbs and medicinal plants. I recommend everyone I know to take a visit!

Really like Davids for lunch. Their homemade soups are always good. And the sushi is excellent, made fresh daily. Sometimes as you wait. I find the health foods a bit pricey but most such stores are. There are bargains to be found, though, sales. And their 20% coupons in local circulars are very helpful.

I come here for specific items and always end up leaving with more than intended. There is lots if interesting products here. Store is clean. Other than checking out, I dont believe Ive ever needed help in the store, so cant comment on that.

The best Quiche in town every Friday. You must place an order to get a whole one, they sell out fast. Many other excellent items Quiche is just my absolute favorite!

Only an occasional shopper. Wouldnt recommend for produce, and deals are hit or miss. Sometimes I find amazing deals no one can beat, other times the prices are 3x what I normally pay. The woman who runs the supplements section is amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I think lots of people come there just to get her help - sorry I cant recall her name.

Bought food to eat with my 2 year old - One employee told me to reheat it myself in microwave - as i did a different employee came out of back and started screaming at me. Yes screaming. Which made my 2 year old, who i was holding, start crying. I tossed food in trash bin right there and walked out.Aside from my experience - take it from someone who shopped here well over 50 x past year - there are aisles of cool natural products - but anything you think you need to buy here can be found online or at another store. Ive done so. And prices here are very inflated compare to elsewhere. And I prefer customer service is actually pleasant, helpful, kind.

They have a few Health Food Stores around but when I am looking for hard to find items that is where I come. Here they have it all from fresh produce to cleaning supplies. Even a small Cafe for a quick snack. If you need help or have questions someone is always there to assist you. While here the prices are a bid higher they do have deals and sales through out the store. I wonder what happens to Davids when the new Whole Food store opens near by?

I think the fact that management has not responded to any comments, even the positive ones says a lot. If you look at MoMs and even Roots you can tell that management reads the reviews. I used to shop here exclusively when my son was and infant to toddler years ago when it was hole in the wall. I will not step foot in here again. Ill stick with MoMs when Im feeling rich and Wegmans for staples and fun stuff.

Let me start out by saying that I love to support my local businesses, but it is clear that a sign needs to be on the door so customers can know when you open and close. The three young adult sitting around the cash register socializing, their behavior was unacceptable. I came in at 7:59p to shop for a particular item only to make it almost half way into the store and was told that the store was closed. If at 7:55p you didnt realize that you should close shop because that wouldnt give customers enough time to browse and then check them out and be able to close at 8p then the error is yours. I will NEVER shop here again and I am glad this happened because I was able to find the item somewhere else at half the cost.

I have had the pleasure of shopping here on multiple occasions and I am always very pleased with the quality of fresh produce, HUGE selection of vitamins, supplements and other medical/homeopathic options for your everyday needs. The staff does seem a little spread thin but are very helpful when you need to ask some questions or need a friend on the inside! Definitely recommend and will be back to continue exploring everything. Things can definitely be pricey, just beware!!

Very lovely selection, great products and quality. When things are on sale they really get marked down nicely. But in general, its a bit expensive here. I usually shop here about once a month or less because of the high prices. But I love the location! And the parking lot has some great eco friendly features.

Supporting local business is always my motivation for shopping in markets like Davids, but if you need to place a special order for something (i.e.: essential oil), spend your time and money elsewhere. The order wont get placed without substantial follow-up. In my most recent experience, it just wont get placed, even WITH substantial follow up...and the staff simply doesnt care.That said, Courtney is the best herbalist in town (patient, knowledgeable, funny!). Shes the only reason why I wont rate this place with 1 star. Wish I could rate her separately with a 5!

The new store is much nicer and cleaner than the old one. However, their prices are very high compared to other local grocery stores. This was fine when it was just Giant and Safeway in town since Davids provided more natural and organic products. Now that Wegmans and Whole Foods have moved in, things are much different, theyre not the only organic market in town and the prices put them at the bottom of the list when it comes to choices.

I live fairly close to Davids so I come here out of convenience, but if I didnt live close I definitely wouldnt make a trip here. With the low volume of customers they have, good customer service shouldnt be difficult. However every time I come here the customer service is just awful. Youre not acknowledged when u enter and completely ignored when walking through the store. I came in on a Sunday morning where there were roughly 4 employees total working; two by the registers and two in the cafe. Not once did someone say good morning or how are you. Even at the register when I was leaving there was a mumbled hello, no eye contact, and upon signing and placing my pen down the ringer quickly grabbed for the pen and re-positioned it as if how Id left it wasnt correct. They are incredibly anti social people who obviously only work there for a pay check. The remodeling bettered the stores appearance but the piss poor customer service they provide hasnt changed. Im not sure how they make business but if youre looking for a health focused grocery store whole foods just up the street is the best choice. At least there they will make you feel appreciated for your patronage.

I found myself making a surprised face more than once.Also called the store asking about a product once, and the employee who answered simply responded, The who? in a kind of terse way. This store has a selection of things you cant always find elsewhere, like gluten and dairy free options and organic items. Their section for gluten and dairy free ice cream is great since we have a few friends and family members who are intolerant, so I try to pick up interesting desserts for them here (we recently tried a hazelnut milk based ice cream option which I hadnt seen before; it was quite delicious). The produce section is smaller than I expected but good quality and variety in my opinion. I like their sale shelf in the back, sometimes the deals there are great (I frequently find jams and sauces there). I also enjoy the frozen vegetable options, as they are a nice change from the ones available at larger grocery stores. Its a fairly pricy store.

Continues to be a steady contender for organic food and supplements. Prices really high but I like that they are fair with returns if products dont work out after few days trial...which you cant do with amazon. Courtney is very knowledgeable and helpful with selecting supps. Prepared food really good and fairly priced.

I like the new Davids. The restaurant and new space is great. Can you find almost every at this store somewhere else for less money? Well, yeah. So...I dont go there a lot. The local eggs are a great deal, though.

Hours are bad. Prices are high. Cafe closes wayyyy too early. Wegmans is a better choice by far... These days Whole Foods too. Need to do more to stay competitive.

Expensive products you can get right down the street for cheaper. Amazon does do returns, contrary to another comment. Cafe service makes me feel the food has bad energy in it. Main frustration is the hours, which for some reason cant be updated on google.

I have special dietary needs so I usually shop at MOMs and love it there, but today I thought Id try Davids. The store is not bad, but compared to MOMs the customer service is awful. There is no one there to help you with anything and it seems most of the staff dont care for their jobs. I used to go here as a kid and I remember it being much better than this. They need to do better . The blonde young cashier was the only one that was pleasant.

Some stuff are really expensive in that store. But their organic veggies and fruits are at the best prices in the Columbia area.

The manager of this place is a real grouch who has terrible manners and customer service. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you enjoy being mistreated. Tried to make a return but they said without a receipt they couldn’t let me “get away with it” as if I’m some sort of criminal for trying to return or exchange a $5 wallet. I guess they dont stand by their product. Sad.
