I can not begin to express our gratitude for the excellent care we have received at PH-USC Pediatric Endocrinology. From our first visit, through series of testing, to now as we are undergoing treatment my sons condition, the staff and physicians have shown great concern and compassion for my son and our entire family. When we had some road bumps with insurance approving the needed treatments, the Office Manager, Mary, went above and beyond to assist in anyway possible. The physicians never appear to be rushed, answering our questions and explaining things completely. As a medical professional myself, I am probably overcritical of other offices, but I can honestly say I highly recommend this office!

Thank you for taking such great care of our daughter! Before we came, my wife and I had many questions and many fears about her health. We were really impressed with the care we received, right from the beginning, from the timely manner our first visit was scheduled, to the friendly way we were greeted and cared for when we got there to the ease of check out. All of our questions (and we had many) were answered and concerns were addressed; we didnt feel rushed. Fortunately, our daughter was okay. If any friends or family members need pediatric endocrine care, I would recommend this office without hesitation.

It has been disappointing dealing with people in this office who just dont care. My child is just a number or series of blood sugar numbers. When we have had questions concerning symptoms, sickness, changes they only want to look at numbers not him!!! One day I took him up there with me to deliver his meters and waited 1 1/2 hours and they still did not see him, only downloaded his numbers. Since then, we went through pump training, ordered the pump and are waiting 2-1/2 months for training so he can use his pump. Now he is in the hospital in another state. This hospital asked for his doctors number. Glad we didnt give them the endocrinologists number because they were no help to me, a worried mom of a young type 1 diabetic who has a lot of trouble controlling his blood sugar. The endos response was, his numbers are fine now. Call the pcm. This is a last straw with this office! I do NOT under any circumstances recommend this office!! All parties in this office have a hands off approach and discourage you seeking help with the child. I wish diabetes was truly just a well behaved number.

You have to be on time for the appointment or they will reschedule you, and dont expect to be seen on time.
