Extremely rude with encounter. Refused patient care. Upcharged biling codes. Cancelled appointments.

Wouldnt recommend seeing Dr. Kush. I was referred here by my first OB and since this was a high-risk practice, I was not able to continue care with another provider. Dr. Kush made it seem as though my pregnancy was not progressing and growing according to the length and weight for the gestation age during each visit. Eventually, my visits became weekly which I didnt mind but once I had an appointment at the hospital they told me my child was growing fine and the measurement that was taken by the hospital aligned with the gestation age. She tried to even persuade me into getting amniocentesis and a whole lot of other stuff which I didnt feel was necessary since there was nothing wrong with my pregnancy. She would also manipulate the measurements to fit her idea of what my gestation age should be to justify her point or try to find something wrong.I do have a medical background so I understood all that was said to me during my visit but OB is not my specialty. Ive seen a few other doctors there and they were okay but one thing I dislike is not having the opportunity to ask questions after the ultrasound because all the doctors seem to be in a hurry. The only positive I can say is that the techs are friendly. The ultrasound images are only digital, no physical copy.The overall takeaway is always to get a second opinion because to some doctors youre another opportunity to bill for every possible unnecessary procedure than to see yourself as a patient who needs care!

Doctors talk fast. Was told to get Bayers Aspirin and take once a day. Then my Aunt told me not to take it because it can cause pregnancy issues. 😡

I was referred by my doctor to use this particular one. Every experience I had with the tech Judy she was very rude & not kind. I’m very big on vibes … especially since I’m expecting. She’s never able to find anything yet along get a good picture of the baby. She implied that I lied about being vaccinated, which I find to be so rude. Whenever I have her a tech I’m usually here in the room longer than a hour which is weird to me if I show up 15 minutes earlier than my appointment. I do not recommend anyone who’s expecting to get service here it’s horrible.

This place is HORRIBLE! The doctors are cold and careless. No empathy and don’t know what the hell theyre talking about! Dr. Kush basically told me my pregnancy failed because the tech didn’t see a fetal heartbeat, mind you I literally just turned 6 weeks the day of my US. You have until the 7th week to see the fetal heartbeat! She didn’t give any type of hope! I went to my doctor’s office right after that for blood work, and BEHOLD my HCG levels are where they should be! Hopefully that old hag is wrong and my follow up US with a different ultrasound place shows a heartbeat…I’ll be 7weeks at that time. P.s. the tech was nice, but the Doctors are horrible…terrible bedside manners.

This was actually my final visit with Maryland perinatal and I was honestly a little sad. I always looked forward to my appointments with them. The techs, doctors, and team were all so caring, knowledgeable, and informative. Even when I switched OB’s a few months ago I told my new OB that I had to continue my appointments with Maryland Perinatal because I loved them so much. The techs always seemed just as happy as I was to see my baby and check on his development. They really made this first time mom a lot less stressed, and I will always be thankful to them for taking such good care of my first born son.

Was referred here for first trimester screening. Staff provided me the insurance codes when I requested them ahead of my appointment, so I could call and get an estimated cost from my insurance company. Ultrasound tech, Dr Kush and whole team were pleasant, kind and listened to my questions. They sent a link with photos from my ultrasound. Appointment started within 10 minutes of my scheduled time. Overall, no complaints.

Dr. Young was amazing! He reassured my faith in healthcare. He saw me in a timely manner, greeted me, and was informative/helpful. I felt comforted by his professional advice. Please let him know that he’s an outstanding doctor and to continue doing a great job!

I love this place so much. Amazing staff. The ultrasound technicians just makes the whole visit informative and calming. The doctor is so kind and a great listener and encouraging. Thank you for helping me see my baby while he was in my tummy.

Avoid this place at all cost!The place was okay but they decided to send all the bills 6 to 9 months AFTER our baby was born. Every visit we would ask the front desk if there was a balance that needed to be paid and they said no. I am not sure why they decided to wait a YEAR since we first started going to send all the bills. It is very hard to pay THOUSANDS of dollars all at once instead of paying on every visit. They couldve send within a month after visit which still wouldnt have been bad. They also charged different amounts for every visit which are named the same which ranged by hundreds of dollars. With newborn twins, its very hard to go through everything to verify charges and every visit so we decided to just pay it. Then they send more months later when my kids turned 9 months and we havent visited the center since they were born.Also one of the nurses doing my sonogram was very sick once and kept coughing non-stop and got my pregnant wife sick.

Dr. Kush and the techs and nurses take amazing care of me. Dr kush always goes above and beyond to make sure the baby and I are safe and that I have all my questions answered. Their quality of service and manners is impeccable. I recommended them to all my new mom friends.

They only Offer Digital Copies of ultrasound and sometimes never sent them to you.. it’s too bad for parents who want to keep photos of their babies ultrasound pictures.

I’m so surprised by some of these reviews- I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The front desk was super helpful- and I got an appointment within two days of when I called. I was at the office for almost three hours and met with a sonographer, Dr. Young, The lab, and the diabetic nutritionist (Jenny). All were amazing, insightful, and very helpful for how to work through diabetes.

I am really not sure why the reviews are so horrible. This is my first pregnancy and it hasnt been an easy one and the front desk, the technicians, and Dr. Raval have consistently been kind and patient and answered all of my extensive questions. They have always been able to accommodate my demanding work schedule. I was actually sad when my OB told me they would be taking over my monthly appointments at this point in my pregnancy. Thank you Maryland Perinatal for helping me with my difficult pregnancy!

This place is poorly managed, charges absurd amount of money, and does not follow through. I went there for a gestational diabetes consultation which included talking to the GD consultant and then a growth ultrasound. The ultrasound lasted for over an hour and the technician was nice. After that the doctor comes in and goes over NOTHING. She just said something along the lines of keep sending the GD charts and monitor your numbers... I had to ask her about the ultrasound, my babys growth, whether everything was normal. She gives another short response and didnt take the time to explain anything! The least she couldve done was go over what was checked in the ultrasound and how my baby was doing. Just her job! Especially when talking to a first time patient with her first pregnancy.Two months later I get my bill and I was clearly being overcharged. I called the place MULTIPLE times for explanation and kept being routed between different departments for a long time. The front desk receptionists tried to help but I could never get to anyone who could do anything about the situation. Typical corporation type of experience. The last call was with the billing supervisor who promised to call me back after talking to the clinic manager and of course, never did. They basically charged for four different types of scans (fine, I am not from the medical profession and didnt understand that a growth scan could mean so many things), but was it not the doctors responsibility to explain it to me? What am I paying all this money for??? If you have an option to go somewhere else, dont go here!

If I could give NO stars I would! I was told I have a cornual ectopic pregnancy after already having a ultrasound there and was told I have to go to a hospital and have my pregnancy terminated. This was two weeks ago and I went to the hospital breaking down and was told I do not have that and just a little high up but my baby is growing down and is thriving. Today I went and got to see my peanut and everything is improving and getting better. I will NEVER go to this location EVER again!! They almost killed my baby!!!

The office was decent staff was ok , the one thing I did not like was that the do digital copies of the ultrasound..... I really want a physical copy . I feel like they should offer the choice of have a physical copy😩

I was referred to Dr. Kush of Maryland Perinatal Associates from my OBGYN after my baby was measuring about 2 weeks smaller than it should. My OBGYN told me not to worry, it could just be a small baby. I had my appointment a week later with Dr Kush, and it was honestly the most awful doctors appointment Ive ever experienced.First of all, she walked in the room and didnt even introduce herself or care to meet me. She began reciting what was likely wrong with my baby like she was reading a textbook- chromosome problem (Downs Syndrome), issue with my placenta, or virus/infection. I tried to explain that my period has been irregular since I was young, that my first ultrasound gave me a due date of June 24 rather than June 8 that they were measuring for, and the date that my husband and I knew that we conceived. Dr. Kush wouldnt hear any of it. She dismissed anything I tried to mention, and heavily implied that it was one of the issues she mentioned. Also extremely important to note- Dr. Kush was speaking on all of this without on single piece of my medical records (!!!). The office hadnt received my records from the OBGYN before the appointment.I was clearly emotional hearing that she was confident that is was one of these three issues (all which have pretty large impacts on the baby), and she was still not at all comforting, empathic, etc. She was stone cold the entire time. My mom was there, thankfully, but even when my mom tried to say something comforting Dr. Kush instantly negated it (my mom mentioned Downs Syndrome is more common in older women, there are usually soft indicators on ultrasound, worrying and putting stress on me isnt good for the baby either, etc) It felt like Dr. Kush WANTED something to be wrong, and she certainly didnt care about how I was feeling.The last straw was when she implied terminating the pregnancy. We didnt even know if something was actually wrong.. how insanely insensitive, and in such poor taste.I got my blood work done, and everything came back negative. No chromosome issue, nothing wrong with my placenta, no virus. Most likely just an incorrect due date like my husband and I tried to state from the beginning.Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor and practice for keeping on such a doctor. My husband and I were worried sick and stressed for absolutely no reason. Even if something is wrong, shes the last person I would ever want anyone receiving care from.

Dr Raval and Dr Kush are great! These doctors are very professional if you want to know more just ask them and theyll answer your questions and spend the extra time explaining. They were great monitoring my pregnancy and hypertension so that I wouldnt have complications.

The support staff members are all very pleasant and easy to work with, however I felt the physician here used scare tactics in an attempt persuade me in to additional testing and visits. If I didn’t have a medical background (10 years experience as an RN) I wouldn’t have noticed. Do your homework on everything she tells you!

I am so grateful for the care m my son and I received throughout my pregnancy!

If this review was based on the rest of the staff and NOT Dr. Donna Raval they would receive 5 stars. The entire staff besides the doctor was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Dr Raval on the other hand was cold, rude, and not helpful or informative during a very important fetal scan. All she said when she came in the room was “do you have any questions” without going over any of the scans I had just gone through or explaining what they were measuring/looking at, etc. I wish I had read previous reviews before booking here. Friendly bedside care is SO important in healthcare and Dr Raval has none of that and acted like she didn’t even want to be talking to me. To the rest of the staff, I’m sorry your reviews are reflective on a doctors poor behavior because everyone else was wonderful.

The ultrasound tech and front desk were very nice; however, the Dr was unpleasant and rude with 0 bedside manor. I was overcharged and had to contact them to correct my bill. I wouldn’t recommend this location nor would I ever return.

I have come to this location for both of my pregnancies, and the doctors are very informative. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly to their patients.

Called for the first time and got placed on hold for a long time, so I hung up and called again and no one answered.

Ultrasound tech was very rushing her job,this please is very commercial..., very cheap service..
