A fantastic doctor. Ive seen Dr. Hagen many times. She cares so much about the patient and is always friendly and compassionate. She always listened to what I had to say. And I NEVER felt rushed with her, which is a big plus when seeing a doctor.
Ive gone to Dr. Hagan for years now. I have hypothyroidism. My previous so-called endocrinologist in Columbia in the past told me he couldnt understand why I had numbness and tingling in my hands because my TSH levels were normal. (3.5) Then I read a British book that told of the importance of having TSH levels close to 2.0. Incredibly, in the US, lab levels as high as 4.5(!) are considered normal. I would have to be institutionalized if my levels were 4.5. That means many are undermedicated and some doctors dont know it. Dr. Hagan believed me and said yes, you can take a higher dosage. She supported me and we later saw that a higher dosage made me feel normal again. She honors what people are feeling, their symptoms, more than the numbers.
