Throughout the last 18 years, Dr. Hunter has diagnosed and treated 3 melanomas, 2 basal cell, and 1 squamous cell carcinomas, as well as countless pre-cancerous lesions on my body. (Miami girl) She is very fast and focused. If you prefer a folksy, “how ya doing” kind of doc then perhaps you should keep looking. I prefer to trust in the expertise of an excellent doctor who has undoubtably added years to my life.

Notably the worst doctor experience/interaction that I have ever had. Dr. Hunter was rude, defensive and aggressive when I asked her any questions. Instead of explaining that she didn’t know what my issue could be so therefore she would need to take a sample and have it sent into the lab, she just said we will need to do surgery. She was so unprofessional that I refused to allow her to cut on me. Dr. Hunter ended up apologizing to me after I explained to her how rude she was. I spoke with her office manager and she explained that Dr. Hunter has horrible bedside manners but has gotten better over the years. 0 Stars. I do NOT recommend her.

This was my first visit and Dr Hunter was very nice and quick! I told her what I was there for and she told me what she needed to do and bam, I was done. The only problem I had is that when I left I realized I had forgotten to show her a place of concern that I had found. But I can go back if it worsens. I had a few places frozen off my face and 2 places that had to be cut. It’s stinging a little still but it’s not unbearable. I’ll definitely return if I have any other concerns.

I have seen Dr Hunter (formerly Grice) 2 times. The last time I saw her was the first of August 2021. NO ONE in her office including Dr Hunter was wearing masks despite high rates of Covid in Richland county and in SC. I was extremely uncomfortable and disappointed! As I sat in the waiting room waiting to be called back, I could hear her office staff joking and laughing about a television program they watched the night before. It was very unprofessional and apparent that this practice suffers from a severe lack of management. I was a physician recruiter for 12 years and know what a well run practice looks and sounds like. I was very disappointed and my overall experience was poor. I will not be returning.

Our family is pleased with Dr. Hunter, and her interest in our health. She is a quiet person, lot of people are. If you speak to her, shes a sweetheart. She likes getting to learn about you, simply talk to her. At the end of the day, shes a wonderful, caring doctor who does a great job.

Dr. Hunter seems to be in to big of a hurry to listen. I didnt like her attitude when I saw her yesterday. She didnt really take care of the problem I went there for. She also doesnt mind cutting things off your face that you didnt even know you had. It leaves scars. I will never go see her again.

I had my first appointment with Dr Hunter yesterday and was very pleased with the efficiency and friendliness of her staff and with her. She was very professional, personable and listened attentively to my concerns. Then we discussed options and decided on the best treatment for me. She allocated the appropriate amount of time for my appointment. I highly recommend her to anyone and cannot understand the negative rewiews she has received.

She is an excellent doctor. Maybe the reason she doesnt take more than 5 minutes to examine you is because she knows what she is doing. She has always been nice to me and my son and Ive been seeing her for years but then again I dont expect hugs and validation every time I see her. She does her job very well.

I recently saw Dr. Hunter from a referral by Doctors Care. I have a wound on my nose that has not healed for over a month. She looked at it, touched it, then said it would heal. I told her this was something that has happened before, and the wound took a couple of months to heal. I asked her what it was and why it was happening. She told me not to worry about it. I asked again, and was again told just to leave it alone and not to worry about it. I just want to know what is going on and why, but she would not give me any information, which I took to mean one of two things, either she doesnt know herself, or she doesnt care enough to tell me. I have an appointment with another dermatologist next month to see if I can get answers. Would not recommend her at all!

Dr Hunter was curtious and professional when she did my cancer screening. The office visit was brief but she answered my questions and treated the areas that needed treatment. She said I would hear back from the office if there were any issues that needed attention. I was notified within a week by mail as promised. We are satisfied with the treatment we get from this doctor and staff.

Not sure what all the hate is about. The staff, nurse, and Dr. Hunter were friendly. The doc clearly explained what was going on and didnt rush me. Wait time was about 25 mins, which is fine since most doctors are backed up anyways. From my experience, treat the staff with respect and theyll do the same :)

I have seen her for a couple years. The last time I had an appointment for a skin consultation, she came into the room without saying hello or anything and just immediately starting touching my face which just felt odd to me. She talked to me for about 3 minutes total without much emotion or thoroughness. She has always seemed less than warm and inviting and when I looked up reviews for her, people seem to agree. I have always felt like I am an inconvenience to exist in their office. I am a creature of habit so I had always returned there, but I have finally found another derm office.

Thought I might have been the only one that had a bad experience. My girlfriend booked both of us appointments at this office. I have had problems with my skin due to ingrown hairs for a long time. My family doctor diagnosed this as folliculitis years ago and it is pretty obvious considering I only get bumps on my skin in places where hair grows. I take medication to keep it under control but I wanted to visit a dermatologist to see if there was anyway I could completely stop the problem or get rid of the dark marks the bumps had left on my face. Dr. Grice walked in the room looked at my face and said this is acne and not ingrown hairs Ill prescribe you some medication and walked out. She was literally in the room 30 seconds at most. She said it so quickly and confidently I believed it for a second but as soon as she was out of the room I wanted to call her back and say you cant be serious. But I didnt I told myself that she was the doctor so I would take her advice. So of course I bought the somewhat expensive creams for my acne that I used for months until they ran out Obviously they did not do anything so I just went back to what I was doing before and did not even bother scheduling an appointment to go back. Good luck!

I am a healthcare worker and am required to wash my hands multiple times a day. Ive been battling eczema on my hands for the past 9 months. Dr. Hunter worked with me and finally found a cream that worked. I am so thankful.I recently changed jobs and my copay for this cream was going to be 199.00! I called the office and Dr. Hunter called in a prescription the same day for a different but just as effective cream at a lower cost. Im rating her a five because she treated the problem.

I will never return to this office. Dr. Hunter, who has no bedside manner what so ever, has left a huge permanent indention on my face from a steroid shot to help heal a cystic bump. My new dermatologist said that she use WAY to much medication in the shot, and no amount of make up and can hide it. Did I mention Im getting married in two months? Please do not see this dermatologist. It is worth the wait to see someone who is professional and actually cares about his/her patients.

I went to see this doctor because I had strange spots/plaques on various parts of my body. Her nurse/assistant looked at a few of them and was very nice. The doctor then came in, told me I had psoriasis or eczema, didnt bother looking at a single spot, wrote me a prescription, and walked out. That was after I had waited well over an hour past my appointment time. When I got home that evening, I had a panicked voicemail from her office telling me NOT to use the cream that she wrote me because it would cause serious damage to certain areas where I had plaques. Candidly, Im surprised they even caught this mistake since the doctor didnt bother looking at a SINGLE spot on my body.I am also very pale with a family history of skin cancer, and Dr. Grice showed zero interest in checking my skin.I went to a new dermatologist last month and had a completely different experience. She spent at least 45 minutes with me, did a whole body check, wrote me prescriptions that are SO much more effective, and helped me develop a skincare routine to make sure to take good care of my skin.Really, really disappointed with Dr. Grice. Her bedside manner was absolutely awful, she didnt even look at my skin, and she seemed wholly uninterested in me. I wouldnt recommend my worst enemy go see her. Honestly, she should lose her medical license based on the consistently awful reviews on here.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Do not see her! I have heard the guy Dr. at this location is excellent. I can not believe how rude and heartless this lady is. She does not listen to you at all and has no time for anything.. she also does not know anything about the latest technology in skin care. She needs to go back to school and get updated and also she needs to volunteer or something and get more grounded on a human level. she also diagnosed me wrongly! well all she said was You werent my patient before your skin problem, so I dont know. I said well I have pictures of how my skin looked before and her response was I dont have time for that. wow! just do yourself a favor and see someone else!

NOT a fan of Dr Hunter (formerly know as Dr. Dina Grice). Not only does she have an unfriendly personality, she actually cut a decent size chunk of skin off my face WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME ABOUT IT FIRST! The indentation on my face (scar) is there forever:(Its not huge, but it is noticeable. If only she would have asked me about it before starting to cut into my face. This was a few years ago and I have of course switched doctors, but I think about it every time I look in the mirror. If you still go to her, be sure she lets you know what she plans to do to you Before she gets out her knife. Be forewarned!

I wish I had checked the reviews before I went to her. Ive gone a few times and am now changing to a different doctor. I have 2 horrible scars--one that still has dissolvable stitches that still have not dissolved after 2 years. Like another person who wrote a review, she also gave me a big overdose of a steroid to one of the other places she cut, and I have a huge permanent indention there. I dont like that she biopsies everything first, then you have to come back and have a bigger chunk removed. You pay twice and you have the trouble of having to schedule another appointment. My old dermatologist in Athens just knew when to take something off (didnt need to come in twice), and my previous scar was tiny for a much larger spot that I had taken off with Dr. Grice Hunter. I should have changed doctors a long time ago....
