Spent years hating this doctor but put up with her because it was the easiest thing to do. After telling the doctor that I needed another psychiatrist that would not inject their personal politics into my sessions, she gave me prescriptions and I tried to find someone new. After finally securing a new psychiatrist, I just needed one 30 day refill of one of several medications that she has prescribed to me for several years. She initially denied my request and I spent three days of hell trying to secure this medication. After everyone that I could reach out told me that she is the only person that could help I called again. After two days of waiting she responds with a reluctant offer of 10 pills. I need 30 (normal prescription I receive) to stay on my normal dosage of an addictive medicine that she has had me on for years. I asked why she couldnt just give me what I needed (as prescribed by her) and she said it was because I told her I wanted to see another doctor. I strongly feel that I hurt her feelings when I finally told her the truth about how I feel and she is holding what little power she has over me to deny me access to medicine that I cant make it through a day without. The whole situation has caused me more stress / depression / anxiety then I have experienced in years. I begged her for help, but she denied me. I feel that she should not be treating anyone. Please do not give this woman power over you, if you offend her she will punish you.

Have been under Dr Andersons care for @10 years. Understanding and personable. Has worked with me to come up with a routine of multiple Rxs for disorders that work best. No problem for me that office visit is required for new Rx order. Know that is her method and helps me keep to appointment schedule. .... Wait time is expected. Means Dr As taking the time necessary for prior patient, and know she will do whats necessary for me. ... I have more flexibility (retired).

Dr. Anderson has always been nothing but professional. She has always made sure my medication is refilled at the appropriate time. Whenever I had an issue at the pharmacy she was very quick to assist me however she could. I recomend her 100%

Dr. Sheryl Anderson is the worst mental health professional I have ever encountered. I am not writing this to hurt anyone’s feelings but to ensure that other patients are warned and/or are comforted knowing they are not the only patient to have this experience. It felt as though she had little to no understanding of depression and anxiety. She severely lacked empathy which can make recovery not only difficult but close to impossible. I started seeing her after struggling with my husband’s death. What sticks out most in my mind is the the memory of her caustically saying to me “WHAT is going on with you??!?!” when I had an adverse reaction to medication. The tone was rude and insensitive and for someone who was struggling, it was deeply painful. I hope that my experience is uncommon. Thank you.

I had the worst experience here do not see her if you are on a tight schedule she will scheduled 3 people at the same time REGULARLY. I have had to wait up to 45 minutes to see her. She is extremely rude and dosnt have any sympathy for people with anxiety and depression. I needed a letter from her just simply saying that I’m under her care and she failed to send a letter or even leave me back a simple voicemail saying she got it. There’s no email on her card so I couldn’t email her. I even left my email in the voicemail I sent her and she still failed to even care to help out. After this experience I got sick of it and decided to drop her. I should’ve looked at her reviews earlier because this has happened to multiple people. If you want someone who is caring don’t see her.

Agree with other review -- there is no receptionist you just walk into an empty room -- but thats the best part of her service. Her medication treatment philosophy is erratic and illogical at best -- she acts more batty than her patients.

Worst psychiatrist ever. She never returns calls. Her office is in a building that has no receptionist or anyone at a front desk to check in patients. You literally sit in a lobby alone until someone comes out behind a locked door and notices you sitting there (which could be 1/2 hour or more!) She does not care if your prescription medication has run out. It could take weeks for her to call in a refill. Do NOT go to this quack if youre serious about your mental health. She is HORRID.
