Terrible service, he dont have time to listen to patient. Claimed he is not convinced with rapid testing. The test is where he is working from UM urgent care. If he is scared, he should have offered a virtual appt. And send some tests via fax or email or something. And the staff! they only pick the people they know. They are terrible, poor costumer service.Not recommending.

Ive been seeing Dr Poblete for over 20 years. Always attentive, kind and very professional. His staff is always so friendly and top notch. Im sorry I missed Sonia but Myra was awesome!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Poblete for over a decade. He’s calm, patient and caring. Whenever we have had a concern outside our regular physicals he has not hesitated to connect us with the right specialist or imaging. Exact what you’d want in a PCP.

I am kind of shocked at the reviews here that are negative. I have been a patient of Dr Poblete for about 15 years or so, and have always had a good experience. I didnt find my visits rushed, and he does a good job of coordinating treatment with the cardiac care doctor the practice is associated with. I have always had a good experience with the nurses and office staff too, and I have been in the office many times. I would recommend Dr Poblete and the practice.

The worst Dr. visit ever! I will not go back nor recommend him. Spent 5 min max. Did not ask any questions about my history, medication I take. I think visiting a robot would have been more useful than visiting him.

Dr. Pio Poblete is an absolute professional. We (my family) have been really searching for a great Primary Care Physician In Columbia, MD for a long time. Dr. Poblete came highly recommended from another well trusted specialist. From the get go, this is my down to earth honest opinion about Dr. Poblete. Dr. Poblete is extremely caring, loving, and compassionate. He does NOT rush his patients as many other doctors do. He listens to you and your health complaints and concerns very carefully. He really spends his valuable time (up to an hour and never looks at his watch) with patients without rushing you. Of course, Dr. Poblete does not smile as often as you like or chit chat as other money centric doctors do. While Dr. Poblete is looking down, he is actually listening to everything you are saying to him. I can personally vouch that Dr. Poblete absolutely cares and is a well trained compassionate physician under the Johns Hopkins Hospital umbrella. Dr. Poblete, after carefully listening to my symptoms, rushed me to the ER and saved my life from a mass heart attack. Today I am alive primarily because of my God and Doctor Poblete. I could really see his compassion, concerns, and care in his eyes as he rushed me to the ER. For me Dr. Poblete is a God sent guardian angel. He is a miracle worker. Any day at any time, I will trust mine and my family’s lives in the blessed hands of Dr. Poblete. Thank YOU, Doctor Poblete for all you do for your patients that trust their lives in your blessed hands.

The worst doctor visit ever! Spent very short time with me. Whatever issue I talked about, he simply referred me to the corresponding specialist. For instance, when I said my elbow hurts, he said I should visit an orthopedist without any other comment or action. It was waste of time and money. I will never go back.

Dr. Poblete is wonderful, but the office staff are an absolute nightmare. Scheduling appointments and getting information faxed to other providers requires multiple phone calls and long waits.

I Just call as a new patient, the staff who answered the phone was not pleasing to accept new patients.reading these reviews seemed very accurate.
