My wife and I have been seeing Dr Asif Mohamed in Columbia MD and I just want to give him great improvement over the old office in the new place are great they make sure that all your needs are handle in a manner where you are well taking care .I can say toYou asked and they handle it for you we real love this office and the greater things we see happenings there

If you’re like me and you’ve seen a ton of doctors, from a number of different specialties, then you know just how rare it is to find a caring, empathetic, knowledgeable, and absolutely top of his game Dr, and when I say Dr. Mohamed is the BEST, it’s the absolute truth.Bedside Manner - Wont find a doctor that is more sincerely compassionate and empathic and Dr. Mohamed. He truly cares not only his you feel, but that you are comfortable with the decisions in YOUR health care. He is kind, funny, and incredibly easy going.Communication - What doctor have you had that spent a weekend preparing and researching your file? Who comes to the appt with multiple options for your health issue. Who emails you on the weekend, or even late at night!!! Never taking more than 24 hours (weekends too) to respond. This guy literally emailed my primary dr to have them follow up with me bc of some blood test results. Who does that? It’s amazing!Knowledge - He isn’t the type of doctor who refuses to learn new information, and will show up to your appt not only ready, but will have multiple ideas to combat your health issue. He explains every test he is asking if you, and then will explain every result. Question about a blood test? No problem. He will also listen to your concerns, and if you do g line his recommendation then you will find a solution that fits your needs.Appointments - Punctual and spends the time you need. He also has a tendency to make your follow up right after your appt, and not relying on his staff. I have never had a dr do this before. It opens up time for them to support in other ways. His staff is also very kind and punctual in getting you an appt set. Additionally the staff can work magic getting prior authorizations approved from your insurance. Top notch!The only wish I had was that he could be my one stop doctor. It’s rare to find a doctor like him. I’m a quite anxious person, and have had my share of bad drs, and I count my blessings I found him. You will too. So stop searching and call him!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Asif Mohamed for several years. I have always found him to be an excellent clinician. He is knowledgeable and proactive. He is a partner in my Healthcare. Dr. Mohameds move to Lifebridge Health and to a very nice facility in Columbia MD have been positive. His new staff is caring and efficient. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mohameds for a few years now. He is one of the most personable and caring physicians that I have been served by over the years. Over the past year or so the staff has excelled in their service and responsiveness, as well as being kind and professional when calling in. This is an excellent medical practice!

I would like to share my Wonderful Experience over the years with Dr. Asif Mohamed. Dr. Mohamed is a very caring and compassionate Doctor. He has helped me out tremendously. Over the years I have referred Dr. Mohamed to family and friends and ALL have been Extremely happy withhis knowledge, caring and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr. Asif Mohamed to anyone in need of Endocrinologist. The Office Staff is very helpful too!

I was referred to Dr. Asif Mohamed after a terrible setback with my diabetes that caused me to be hospitalized for weeks in Jan 2020. At the time, when I was referred to him to get control of my diabetes, my A1c was 11. With the help of Dr. Mohamed, tweaking meds, comparing my blood work, and other recommendations; I can NOW happily report that as of August 2020 my A1C is now down to 6.7! I have been diabetic for 20 years and I have NEVER had an A1C this level until I found Dr. Mohamed!!!!! His bedside manner is also hands down phenomenal! Hes always professional, timely, sweet, kind, and caring, and the man KNOWS HIS STUFF!!!!! Now... The front desk staff... Thats a whole OTHER story. Buttt.... they have improved since the new location is settled in Columbia., MD. And besides... Its Covid.. nothing flows normal or regular these days.

Dr. Mohamed has been my doctor for 13 years. He is extremely skilled and especially kind. He has proven to me that he is invested in guiding me to success in my treatment plans. He is on target in managing my symptoms and concerns. If you are looking for a physician that is knowledgeable, up to date, and caring, you will be remiss if you pass by Dr. Asif Mohamed.

I am very happy with Dr. Mohamed. Hes very personal and he has helped me turn my diabetes around. Yes, no more am I a diabetic due to his suggestions that I followed. Dr. Mohameds staff is delightful, professional, and thorough and the current receptionist is the best! Ive been coming to Dr. Mohameds office for years and to date she is the best receptionist hes ever had. I enjoy coming to his office. Dr. Mohamed is the kindest doctor I have ever seen. I am a patient who very sensitive to medications and has a lot of questions and concerns. Dr. Mohamed is very knowledgeable and always addresses all of my questions and concerns promptly through the MyChart system. During every visit he is always so caring and patient. I have full trust in placing my health in the hands of Dr. Mohamed. I wish that all doctors were as good at what they do and kind at the same time, like Dr. Mohamed is! I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an endocrinologist!

Dr. Mohamed is fantastic. He takes great care of his patients and takes his time to address all of your concerns. There were some problems with the staff not relaying messages to him and not giving refills promptly, but he did hear all the complaints and every single staff member has since been replaced. It is now a great place to go. Doctors in the area tell me he is the best and they are right for sure!

My primary care doctor recommended Dr Monhaned Asif and my experience was amazing! I absolutely recommend him. My thyroid issues were traumatizing and scary, but him and the new staff made me very calm, as they were all friendly. The receptionist was especially nice as well.

To start, I was very fond of Dr. Mohamed when I first stated seeing him. I thought he had an excellent bedside manner and had a pretty competent office staff. However, in the last two years I have found the quality of care to be terrible.I regularly have trouble connecting his office and my insurance company when new RXs are required - pretty much every time there is an issue - I just expect it now.He also in recent years has acted more like an insulin pump salesperson than an endocrinologist. I had questions for him about how I reacted to different types of carbohydrates and how I could deal with spiking blood sugar - and instead of talking to me he actually instead had a Medtronic pump rep come in and speak to me - knowing nothing about me or my medial history. That is when I decided to change doctors.To top it all off, his physical office is terrible. Like out of a horror movie terrible. It is completely abandoned besides his practice. It is run down and smells bad....

Dr. Mohamed did a fantastic job with my diabetes. I have had a lot of trouble with it and my primary care doctor felt like my issues went beyond what he could treat. He sent me to Dr. Mohamed who was amazing! He got my hgb A1C down from 11.2 to 6.1 (this is impressive stuff, for you guys who dont know about diabetes) and was so patient and nice with all my questions too. My primary care doctor says that he is the best, and he does not send his patients to anyone else. The results speak for themselves! His staff are all new and they are great too.

This Doctor finally helped me get an answer to my questions regarding my thyroid. Some of the people working at the front could have a better attitude but that is minor to me.

Dr Mohamed found the issue of my high blood pressure, when other doctors couldn’t. He takes time to talk to me each visit, and listens to my concerns. He has responded quickly to my emails. I would highly recommend Dr Mohamed.

Front desk people are rude and unprofessional. I dont mind if the front desk people are not friendly since I am there to see a doctor but they are just so rude! Even though Dr. Mohamed is nice, now I am looking to switch the doctor just because of the people at the front desk. Dr. Mohamed seriously needs to hire new people else he is going to loose more patients.

I have never experience such poor customer service and unprofessionalism in my life. The reception is rude indeed. I had an appointment with Dr. Mohamed on July the 3rd 2017 and he still have not return any of my calls to inform me of the results or my next step in revolving this issue. I have called and left message and his assistance has promise me that Dr. Mohamed will be returning my call which he has not. Of course I am in the process of getting another referral to see a different Doctor but I have NEVER in all my years experience this type of behavior from a doctor. He is rude, unprofessional, unconsidered and thoughtless just to name a few. IF YOU ARE EVER REFERRED TO THIS DOCTOR.. RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Mohamed is great. His staff is not. twice they have let me run out medication. I have left voicemails with no return phone calls. they are rude and unorganized. I will be looking for a new dr. I would not recommend this office. At least until they make some employee changes

Front desk extremely rude. And Dr.Asif Mohammed, kept me waiting 45 minutes and was in the room for maybe 3 minutes. Asked a few questions without doing the norm of exam of my thyroid and said he will see me in 6 months. I missed a entire afternoon of work without pay for this and it will be my last.I work in the medical profession and this was unexceptable. I will find a new doctor immediately who respects his patients and their time.

His office was chaotic; had me scheduled with wrong patient’s name; then, they did not have my blood work results. I had to call my internist and even then, they had the wrong print out. When the doctor was confronted about his staff incompetence, he got upset with me. I was about to walk out of his office. I’ve been his patient for over ten years and had never seeing such level of disorganization and incompetence. And having a doctor defensive and unapologetic, the worst! My insurance pays good money for my visits, this is no charity. I will not tolerate third rate service and definitely third rate treatment!!!

The worst office. Not only did they lose my biopsy and I had to come back in and have it repeated. Which is very painful. But the staff is horrible. RUDE! Dr. Muhammad is ok but your staff is a reflection on you and until he takes care of that I would never recommend this place.

Receptionist was extremely rude and not helpfull. I would not to be there client.
