Dr Parker was very kind, friendly & addressed my issues in a knowledgeable & non judgemental manner. COG will always be the place for me for any orthopedic issues.

Almost no wait for the on-call doctor, he gave me treatment alternatives and patiently answered all my questions. Appreciated being able to get quick help instead of having to wait until well into September.One difficulty, when I called in to get help at the appointment desk I was told no appointments were available from Dr. Farmer or anybody else until well into September. Id explained that I had swelling and was in some pain, and she said said all she could offer was to send me back to Dr. Farmers dept. to see if they could help. It was only then that I was told about the on-call doctor option.However, when I explained my situation to the on-call receptionist (that the elbow had swelled up and became painful only the night before), she asked me what caused it and when. I indicated I wasnt sure, but it was possible that Id lifted something too heavy two days ago, but serious symptoms only appeared the night before.She immediately said, according to protocol, I was disqualified to access the on-call doctor because the injury occurred more than 48 hrs. ago. I explained again that symptoms only appeared the previous night. She went and consulted and came back and told me no again due to protocol. With some puzzlement I explained that Id only (out of honesty) mentioned my guess that the original strain might have been due to lifting a couple days ago, but it was only a guess there were almost no symptoms until the night before. It seemed like a strange reason to be turned away. All in all a fairly frustrating experience for all parties.Anyway, she went back to consult again. Then another person came on, asked about my situation, immediately made an appointment and it was smooth sailing from there on. By the way the check-in and x-ray staff were also very friendly and efficient.

Always quick and friendly staff! Dr Parker did my back surgery in 2017 and has taken excellent care of me. I’d have a hard time trusting anyone else.
