Went in for a routine care checkup. Made it very clear that is what we wanted and were there for, were assured by both the office and the PA we saw that is all we would get. Imagine my surprise when our bill showed up and we owed them money for diagnostic care. After hours on the phone all Ive been told is sucks to be you give us our money.

Dr. McQuie is the only peraon there with manners. The whole place looks like its falling apart. Appointments are usually a long time away. Office staff is rude. I dont usually get a call back, just told to go to urgent care or the er.

A year ago Prica misdiagnosed me and put me on Abilify which caused hypertension, tachycardia, and PVC’s. When I called to tell him I was still having these symptoms even with hypertension meds he sent in a script for Xanax, essentially accusing me of just having anxiety. A year later off of Abilify I am still having cardiac issues at the age of 23. He was my doctor my whole life, and I am so glad I left and found a real doctor.

They used to be a good place but not anymore. Our family is switching from using them. My son went in after getting hit in the nose with a baseball and was told he didnt have a broken nose but he sure did and has problems with his nose today. My daughter has to pay a $700 bill because the offices mistake. And my daughter had a well woman check up and daughter asked a question and the doctor had to look into it and then later found that because of the question it then wasnt a well woman check and to pay for it. Just be careful. I would find different doctors if you can.

The person at the front desk struggled to run my bill through my insurance in March and decided to bill me later. I never received the bill and didnt think much about it. Last week, my mother called me to tell me they sent the bill to her and in her name and she didnt get it because she hasnt been home due to COVID. So after not receiving their $15 they put the bill into collections under my mothers name. When I called and asked them to remove it, they said they wouldnt and that I just need to pay it even though I never received a bill. Furthermore, sending my information to my mother is a HIPPA violation which I will be reporting. My doctor also prescribed me medication, which made me sick. I called to tell them this, didnt hear back until the next day and found out that he changed my medication through the pharmacy. Changing medications should be a conversation you have with your patient. This in combination with judgement I have received from their staff means I would never recommend them.

Dr. George Prica and this amazing staff WANTS and DOES helps patients with CARE still. They fight for their patients and they will do what is needed to make them feel heard and taken care of. I went to MU hospital and they didnt take care of my pancreatitis or Crohns at all and Dr. Prica and his team still are fighting to help me get better and to get me to the GI that will help me actually get back to living my normal life. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for my amazing doctor team and office!!

Now listen......these hard working doctors are awesome! Our primary care physician is Justin Terrell. We, and several friends of ours feel that Justin is very well qualified to be our primary care man! He is extremely intelligent and more importantly, compassionate. The extended staff can be rough around the edges......NOT THE DOCTORS FAULT! I have seen Dr. Prica on three different occasions(D. Terrell was not in whenI had “emergency” needs). I was apprehensive until I saw him. I felt he was totally committed to his work, and also a kind and intelligent man. My husband and I are relieved to have such competent care. Just thought someone might want to know how we feel and what we have experienced.

My husband was a patient of Dr. Justin Terrell, he apparently is no longer with the office when we schedule and appointment at the beginning of the year we were just told he was OUT of the office, so he seen Dr. Prica. My family has been coming to CFMG for many years, my Granddaddy who is no longer on this earth was a patient of Dr. Weston. My father & brother both see Weston as well... I’ve called TWICE today to see if Dr. Weston or Prica would take my husband on as a new patient and I’ve been HUNG UP on TWICE today and now I’m on HOLD on TWO different phones. 1. Phone for over 20minutes and the other phone 15 minutes. When I called prior gave my name they HUNG UP on me!Stephanie Benowitz called back the 2nd day and was RUDE and HATEFUL.

We have been with Columbia Family Medical Group for 25+ years. Staff is courteous and the physicians are top notch. The recent move to be under the University umbrella has helped the efficiency of the day to day operations and allowed the medical staff to concentrate more on patients.

First & foremost Dr. V is awesome! Dr. V takes the time to listen & thoroughly explain everything, which is always very appreciative. Now the 1 Star is because of the nurse that took my info before my appointment. This nurse told me whIle I was explaining my reasons for the visit that they (Columbia Family Medical Group) usually encourage patients to not come in with a laundry list of issues. This was a nurse that said this to me, I was shocked to say the least. I told this nurse that Ive never experienced that before, being encouraged to not talk about my issues with the Dr. My only regret was not saying anything to Dr. V during my visit today 12/28/16. Its always been my understanding that the Dr. would want to know everything to assist in an accurate diagnosis. Like other posts suggests, great Dr, unfortunately supporting staff not so much.

Wonderful, excellent care. I recommend CFMG to all my friends and co workers. They make appointments fast (same day most days, if I call early) and Ive never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I used to think going was a hassle, but these guys make it easy. I see Dr. Weston, and think hes a kind, no-nonsense and very knowledgeable doctor. They have a Pharmacy in the first floor (Flos) so thats super convenient that I dont have to go to someplace else to pick up any prescriptions.Very pleased.

I am only going here because I needed my anxiety medicine so I had to get a new doctor when I moved to Columbia. Had two appointments and were great. Dr. Terrel wants me to follow up with him every month regarding my medicine so I have to call to get refills. This week I have called twice and left a voicemail to get more medicine. No return call. So now I am out of medicine and going through withdrawal symptoms which is a huge pain for me to get through my day. I have never had this problem at any other place. Patients health should come first.

My primary doctor moved here (though I usually see her nurse practitioner) but I ended up seeing someone else for something very basic, and the long and short of it is that the doctor didnt help me at all. Mostly he gave me skeptical looks, pretentious diagnoses of unrelated issues, and a little extra discouragement from explaining myself in case I might keep him too long. I ended up taking something to manage my symptoms when I got home and bought a home remedy from Clovers the next day.Oh and office staff seemed a little unprofessional and unfriendly. I just assumed it was an after-normal-hours thing, but based on other reviews, perhaps it is the norm.I got in quick, and it was open really late, so they can have two stars.

So Ive got experience with Dr Millem (sp) and the PA Karen. They are both just beyond awful. The doctor gave my husband a script for some seriously dangerous medications without explaining the side effects; he became suicidal. He could, very literally, have died because of her.The PA is just incompetent in the extreme. I came in with a complex problem, she gave me 5 diagnoses, one for each symptom.Seriously, WHAT? Like, how about 1 disease causing 5 things instead of the 5 diseases? Also, she missed that I had a dangerously low lab result for which I needed intervention and medication. Seriously, dangerously low. She whiffed on it totally.Dont go here. They will very literally kill you.

Medical staff, especially Dr. Ellen McQuie (my family physician for 16 years) are compassionate and caring.Unfortunately, since the affiliation began with MU Health in 2016, the office management has all but collapsed. Calling in to make an appointment is an exercise in futility. The automated telephone system is a joke. Today for example, I was placed on hold for 10-15 minutes and when a human is finally reached, she could not hear me and disconnected. I have left two messages for Dr. McQuie within the past three days and have yet to receive a call back.I originally left MU Health for this very reason and am not very happy that my doctors office has joined their system.

I have been going to Columbia Family Medical Group for more than 5 years and I have been happy with my services. Dr. Prica is my primary physician and he is always there to listen, advise, and treats me with care. I had not had a primary physician since I was a child. He isnt a pill pusher and I appreciate that. I would recommend Dr. Prica to anyone.

Ive been going here for 4 years. The first 3 years was hell because I had Dr McQuie and always waited a minimum of 2 hours just to be seen. I dont have the ability to take off work for half the day just to see the doctor and have a five minute conversation with her before leaving. Then one day I had to see a doctor and was able to see Dr Prica. He is absolutely fantastic. Seriously, the best doctor Ive ever seen and I normally cant handle male doctors either. Wait times are a maximum of 30 minutes - and Ive never had to wait that long. Its all about the doctor you see. The only reason this place gets a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is because of my first experience. I actually like Dr Prica so much that I still go to him, even after moving to St Louis. Its hard to find a doctor who actually listens and cares so Im not risking another McQuie experience.

Be prepared to wait for at least an hour and a half for your appointment. Theyre scheduled 15 minutes apart, which is laughable, and I would typically wait thirty minutes in the waiting room, and then forty-five in the exam room before seeing the doctor -- for about fifteen minutes!! Not only that, but the office staff is completely unprofessional and disorganized; getting a phone call returned was an ordeal, and I would have to deal with some very judgmental behavior and suspicion on behalf of the office staff when requesting medication refills, which is completely unprofessional. So happy to have switched practices, this place is a disaster.

Ever since I switched over to Dr. V after Dr. Taylor left, this place has been a joke. His nurse is a joke, the front office is smug, condescending and generally rude, and I have never EVER waited less than 45 minutes past my designated appointment time to even get IN to the office, and then, once in there, I wait some more. Today was the last straw. Do yourself a favor, find another office. I seriously have never seen so many bitchy people in one place.
