I have been seeing Gabriela for several years and she is fantastic. She has helped to dramatically improve my skin and I am so grateful to her. I saw Paige today for the first time and she was wonderful- incredibly down to earth, easy to talk to, and made me feel at ease. I have nothing but nice things to say about everyone in this practice, from the person who greets you when you walk in to the medical staff treating you.

My wife saw Brooke Bennett in Eldersburg. She decided to continue the relationship by traveling to Medical & Aesthetic Dermatology when she relocated. Several years later, I also started seeing Brooke. We enjoy the office environment. The front office staff is wonderful. They stay on schedule very well. Brookes examination is extensive and informative. I feel at ease with her conclusions and recommendations.

Ive been going here for 4 years now and have had 2 in-office procedures. The office staff is efficient and curtious. Dr. Bansal has always been thorough and very pleasant. I would recommend her to anyone.

The front desk staff has poor to no customer service skills. Teenage daughter made an appointment and drove to office and was told the dr was not going to see her acne. It was a zoom appointment. She took the appointment in car and set a follow up. The next appointment came and she thought it was a zoom at 9 am. She called the office to verify and after not receiving a call and was told her she needed to come in. When she did within 10 minutes she was charged 50 and told she had to reschedule because she was late. The front desk was rude and unforgiving not to mention the emails or texts do not indicate in person or zoom. You just have to guess. When I called to complain on my daughters behalf, who was crying by the way, I was treated rudely. I insisted on speaking with the dr and was told no and she would TRY to have the dr call me. The dr did not which supports the unprofessional behavior. Such poor customer service in a pandemic! Ridiculous! Not to mention it takes weeks to get an appointment! Outrageous and unacceptable!

My pediatrician recommended this office to me. My 5 year old had a spot on his neck that needed to be removed. We originally saw Brooke. She told us it was a strawberry patch and needed to be removed. I asked if she could do it that day since she said it would only be 30 seconds to remove and a couple of minutes to cauterize. I was told no because they don’t keep any supplies for that in stock. It all has to be preordered a couple of days before. I found that strange and felt like it was a lie because I assumed a dermatologist office removes moles, etc. often. (My pharmacist also found this strange that they don’t keep supplies on hand) But I took the prescription I was given for numbing cream to be applied an hour before our next appointment. She told me to apply the cream, they would wipe the cream off and apply a stronger working cream and snip off the spot and cauterize. Very easy. So I prepped my 5 year old for this. Removal was scheduled with Julia. She asked me why I had my sons spot covered with cream. Told her Brooke gave me directions to do so. She found it odd; but proceeded to look at the spot. Then asked who diagnosed it. Brooke did. She asked if I was sure Brooke Called it a strawberry patch. It was confirmed in the doctors notes. It was not a strawberry patch. It was a pylegenic granuloma. Julia then asked me to get my husband because this needed to be done with a shot from the needle to numb. I told her Brooke mentioned nothing of a needle. She couldn’t believe it. My husband didn’t come along because we were told it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. Well it was. BUT. Because Julia knows what she is doing and is in tune with her patients she was confident she could do the procedure if I was able to hold my son still long enough for the injection into his neck. I stilled his head and she was so quick to inject the needle. Julia worked fast to remove the spot and cauterize it. From start to finish it was at most 5 minutes. I might consider coming back because of Julia, she is friendly towards her patients. Knowledgeable and up to date on how to treat spots. She called to follow up and check on my son with the official confirmation of diagnosis a few days after our visit. Just for clarification, I do not recommend Brooke.

Having had poor service with my previous provider, I did significant research to find a quality practice for my dermatology needs. Upon entering the M&AD (Medical & Aesthetic Dermatology) office, I knew that I was in the right place. The reception staff was cheerful and organized. Gabby, the Physicians Assistant performed a through, competent exam. Dr Bansal, followed-up. The administered treatments resolved my issues and I, left feeling cared for, confident and well taken care of. Highly recommended. Make an appointment! Dont delay!

Gabriela Perdomo is one of the best health care providers I have ever had! She carefully explains her observations and my treatment options, and thoughtfully answers my many questions, in a caring and professional manner. I have only been her patient since September and haven’t presented her with any serious medical issues (so far!), but if any do arise, I will have total confidence in her ability to care for me. The office uses Covid-prevention safety practices, which I very much appreciate.

Very dissatisfied with the results of cryosurgery treatment for brown spots on my face. The PA administered liquid nitrogen to 8 spots, and two months later, seven of the spots are worse than before; they are darker, and larger. I emailed a photo, and went in but was merely given sample tubes to Retin A and cortisone. The PA and doctor would not take a moment see me in person. One month of using the sample tubes and no change. I basically spent about $500 to have my skin messed up. Also, the bill included a $100 charge for COVID protocol - this seems like a very arbitrary number, and I cannot see how every patient for every visit could possibly account for $100 in expenses.

The receptionists could be friendlier but the care is great. I saw Gabby twice for chondroitis of my right ear. Two pronged approach that seems to be working! Gabby was friendly and very professional. The office itself is immaculate!

Julia (PA) is an angel! I had a tattoo removal go wrong. I’ve been putting off going to see someone because it’s just embarrassing and I know it’s my own fault. Julia wasn’t the slightest bit judge mental, she was kind, and caring and nothing but ready to help me solve all my problems.I also scheduled one of my appointments during lunch and I was a bit nervous it was going to take a while. But I was in and out quickly and back to work before a full hour!The lady that answers the phone calls is also a gem and the rest of the staff are very nice and helpful as well. Super happy about finding this place!

I have been concerned with my deep smile lines for a few years now but didn’t have the nerve to do anything about it. I had been accompanying my girls to see Dr. Bansal for different reasons or the past few months and was thoroughly impressed with her. She was very confident and knowledgeable in all areas of dermatology.So on one of those visits I inquired about fillers. She told me about the product she used and the procedure. She never once pushed or questioned me further. That was when I decided in my mind to schedule the appointment. It was as if she wanted the decision to be 100% my own and I deeply respected that.On the day of my appointment, I was nervous about having something injected into my face. The doctor again was confident that I would not be in much pain and that she would be able to provide me with the outcome I desired. As she injected me, she showed me the gradual transformation with each injection. It was like magic before my eyes.I am completely satisfied 3 weeks out after my procedure. I am so glad I trusted her. Btw, I can’t stop looking at my face. I love my results.

I have seen only Rebecca Bower, PA. a couple times within the past (approx) 2 years for several concerns. I think shes great and extremely nice. I like her attentiveness and ability to explain things I dont understand. The staff has been nothing but friendly as well. Also believe they are handling covid precautions well: they are having you fill a form, checking your temperature, and the seating is limited so people sit in the waiting area within a safe distance.Tip: Might be difficult to find the building if you are not familiar with area, so give yourself extra time to find it. There is also construction going on in the route before getting to the building, so be wary.

Dr. Bansal has been amazing. I have been through an ordeal with my sons condition for months. She is the first doctor we have seen who gave us a proper diagnosis and the steps for treatment. I would highly recommend her, there are many dermatologists closer to where I live but we will be making the trip to this practice for future needs.

The staff was very professional and accommodating. We visited for my son who had a very bad case of poison ivy. I was able to schedule an appointment within a day and early in the morning. Our appointment was for 9am and we were seen 10 minutes before. My son is not comfortable with doctors in general and it is hard for us to even get him to go inside any building he knows a doctors office is located. He didnt mind coming here for some reason. He also didnt mind Brooke examining him which is a first. Her demeanor, calming presence and patience explaining to us what we need to do helped for an easy experience that could have gone much worse (and has in the past with other physicians). She was kind and was very gentle with our son who can be difficult when people he doesnt know get in his personal space. She offered remedies for over the counter as well as prescribed and his rash started to alleviate the first day. I could not be more pleased with our experience. Thank you. Would definitely recommend.

I meant to do this review for the last month BEWARE!! do not buy the sunscreen on sale it will expire 4/20 so in a few months and once the sunscreen goes bad it goes bad its a waste of money. Thank God that the girl who sat closest to the place where they keep the products offered to go in the back and see if there were any that expired later in the year which she found them she deserves an award. Her description was she was tall and had really curly dark brown hair. I will never come here to buy products again though because Im sure they will sell and give away expired products watch for places like these guys!

The service was good, no problem with that at all. However I canceled my last appointment with them over the phone the day before the appointment and now they are trying to charge me a $50 no show fee. I canceled per their policy with 24 hours notice (Appointments canceled before 24 hours of the appointment will not incur any fees). I have spoken to them 2 times on this letting them know and I just received another bill from them. Not happy, and no I am not paying it.

This was my second year of Blue Light treatments and I was very please with the care I received. The technician discussed each step of the process and checked back with me as the treatment time progressed. I will have another treatment in December and look forward to the same level of professional courtesy and competency.

The PA was able to quickly assess my skin lesion. She was pleasant and thorough. The wait was short and her treatment worked in a timely manner.

Both me and my daughter started going here and I’m very unhappy with these services. I could clearly over hear the doctor saying “oh well tell them I can’t see them” when I saw her just standing there she definitely could’ve. This was my first visit and I scheduled a second visit for a Skin Screening.Dr. Bansal examined a mole my doctor was concerned about and some other skin conditions I was concerned about.PA Liu was knowledgeable and helped me understand one condition that concerned me.I felt confident in both of them.The office staff was very good and sociable.I will rate again after the Skin Screening.

Dr. Bansal acknowledged me, my history & aesthetic needs in a detailed manner. Her consultation was thorough. I wanted a prescription level solution, but she offered over the counter samples instead. The OTC idea hasn’t worked well, but I like her approach to try the least potential side effects option first. I’ll call her for further advise & a treatment update.

Thanks to M & A Dermatology, a melanoma was discovered on my leg in its earliest stages and easily treated. This, after I had originally gone in just for a cyst. Ask for Brooke, she’s even better than Dr. Pimple Popper.

I came in for a chemical peel and got burned I would suggest that you guys find a practice that is trained in doing things like this. If I wanted to get burned I would have just gone to one of those med spas I’m highly dissatisfied. I also saw that they had a sunblock on sale for $20 come to find out that it expires 4/2020 and I read and earlier post about it but didn’t believe it now I do don’t waste your money at this office.

I have been seeing Rebecca Bower, PAC for years and love her. She always takes the time to answer my questions and I feel confident I am getting the best of care doing my regular skin checks due to a family history of skin cancer. I even brought my 3 year old to see her when the mole on my daughters leg had become irregular. She knew exactly what it was, assured us it wasnt a problem we needed to take action on at this point and put a plan in place to watch it as she gets older. She was also comforting and very sweet with our daughter. I highly recommend Rebecca Bower for adults and kids. :)

I work with Brooke who is just wonderful! She has been doing my full body checks for a couple of years. She is always conscientious, thorough and very pleasant. Recently, she froze several seborrheic keratoses on my back. Between Brookes treatment, her explanation of what would happen post freezing and the paperwork this practice provided to me, I was completely comfortable and prepared for the 1-4 weeks post freezing. Everything happened exactly as explained to me. I am so very happy with the results! I would highly recommend Brooke and this practice.

I love this office.. I even continued to go here after my insurance changed and was no longer accepted. It’s hard to find quality and honest care and this office definitely provides both. I suffered with severe acne and hyperpigmentation during and after my pregnancy. I tried antibiotics that was prescribed by A different dermatologist and it worked, however, I didn’t want to rely on antibiotics. After trying three different dermatologist I finally decided on this office. I was hesitant at first because I’m African American and wasn’t sure if they specialized in African American skin, but my experience has been great so far. The wait is not long and my acne is clear.

I was definitely happy with my actual appointment. However, every single time Ive been to this office I receive large bills from their lab for tests run. I then have to contact the lab and my insurance company to clear things up for a balance I dont actually owe. One time the lab actually sent my balance to collections and not only had I never received the bill but it was a couple years old! This is really inconvenient and frustrating. Not sure if its the labs fault or Medical & Aesthetic Dermatologys billing departments fault but its enough of an issue that I dont think Ill be back. If it only happened once Id let it slide but this has happened every time. I gave 4 stars because I dont want to fault the doctor I saw as she was great. However, the billing issue makes me want to give 1 star.
