This is my go to place for massages. I’ve always had excellent service and the massages are always so relaxing. I’ve done a couples massage with my fiancé, individual massages for myself, and recently a prenatal massage that was amazing. Prices are the best I’ve found and they even offer a discount if you pay in cash. It’s run out of the owners townhome, but the setup is very nice and relaxing. I’m a loyal customer and recommend to all in need of some relaxation.

Today was probably my fifth time coming to Lynn’s at their location at Elliot Oaks road and my experience was wonderful. The prices are great (they also provide a discount for those who pay in cash). I was given a very relaxing massage that made me fall asleep for a bit. I also found out they have a package for a massage and facial combo, so I will definitely be returning.

Over the years I have a lot of massages. Some have been outstanding and most left me wishing I had my money back. Lynn ranks among the top, it was very good. Because this is her own practice she is permanent so I finally have a person I can find to go back to. Extra stars.

I go there for some waxing stuff. The prices are fair and they can usually get me in same day. I am usually in and out in 15 minutes. They do need a bit of professionalism on the phone for making appointments. They dont seem to be trained very well. I can overlook that side of it as long as I get what I want done.

I have only had a good experience. Whats important to me is a good massage performed by a professional therapist who listens to my needs.

Mixed. The womens bathroom in the entrance of the day spa was neglected, there was no toilet paper in 2 of the 3 stalls, the 3rd stall was plugged up with toilet paper, one of the drains was plugged in the sink and one of the faucets didnt work. The girls behind the counter were uncaring and irritated when I mentioned the condition of the bathroom they said it wasnt their responsibility but that of the property management company. The couches were comfortable while waiting but there was no hot tea or cucumber water to drink other than make it yourself tea. While the overall spa lacked ambiance and professional styling the rooms were warm and inviting. Our group of 4 had mixed reviews with only one very skilled massage therapist out of the group -- Ask for Gil if you go. I highly recommend her.

Ive been going here for years and I never ever experienced the rudeness some people are complaining about. Staff has always been professional, friendly and courteous. They have a collection of good massage therapists and I can usually call and get in on the same day.

CAUTION: THEY DOUBLE-DIP FOR THEIR BRAZILIAN WAXESI recently went here for the first time. The service I had was a Brazilian wax. I am originally from Maryland, but now live in New York City so when inquiring about waxing I was taken back by the pricing and service model. When I arrived I was asked if I wanted a regular (just the front) Brazilian or extended (the back side included) which was something I have never heard of. All other wax experiences at different establishments have this included for one flat price which is how it should be, however here they charge you $10 extra for the extended. What put me off the most is that when I asked if they had a no double-dip policy (the same spatula will NEVER be re-dipped into the vat of sugaring gel/wax!) they had no idea what I was talking about! I then explained what I meant and was told yes, they do not double dip; but once in the process of being waxed that was NOT the case.If I am paying a minimum of $50 for a wax, at a spa at that, I would expect a germ-free visit. When I pay $35 normally for a Brazilian wax in New York city with a no double-dip policy I was highly disappointed and disgusted that this is not done here.

Stay away from this place!! Seriously...this was the worst massage experience I have EVER had! Their temporary space (this is their 2ND fire) is an unattractive house with oddly placed furniture...the hot stone burned me (I do not have sensitive skin and this has NEVER happened). .she ended up just skipping the stones for a sub par massage) so I cut it shirt by fifteen minutes. To top it all off they refused to accept the SpaWeek gift card despite their company showing up on the website advertising the companies who participate with them. Seriously...STAY AWAY!!!

I used to like Lynns, but (1) after I removed the polish from the last pedicure, I had what appeared to be a fungal infection, (2) you have to walk down the hall and way into an empty office suite just to go to the bathroom -- really yucky and unappealing, and (3) the last time I made an appointment, they didnt give me a reminder call and I had put the wrong date in my calendar (admittedly my fault) -- and they charged the FULL AMOUNT of the service I missed, with absolutely no offer to come in later, receive a discount, or any sort of customer-friendly discount or gosh, were so sorry this happened. I go to spas to relax, not to get more stressed out. Ive had it. They are just not customer-oriented and dont try very hard to make your visit relaxing and calming.

I love this place! They always work to get me in. I am not sure where the low reviews are coming from as anytime I have ever ran across an issue they jump through hoops to resolve it.

I loved the services I received...just not the SERVICE from the front desk manager (blond lady) I had a gift certificate for the almost heaven package--unfortunately for me, I did not actually print it out (I had it on my phone--its 2011, thought most places were going green!?!) Anyhoo, I had to drive back to my home 30 minutes away to print out the certificate and bring it back to them (in the meantime I had given them a check to hold for the service fees). I was told by the manager at the front that it was clearly printed on the certificate that I needed to print out the certificate for it to be valid---but ummm, if it had been I WOULD have printed it out!! So frustrating and totally ruined my spa day feeling!!

What a dump. Plastic plants, outdated furniture, water spots on the ceiling, and rude staff. For the same price you can go to a high end salon. Avoid this place like the plague!

Although my family and I have had other services at this spa before and excused their shabby décor, we will NOT be patronizing Lynns Day Spa again. The PEARL SPA in Fulton, MD. is slightly more expensive, but I have no problem paying a surcharge for professionalism and customer service. My experience : I made appts. for pedicures, myself and a friend, late one Saturday afternoon. When called back for our services, we both placed our feet in the water to find the bath ICE COLD. Their initial explanation was that they ran out of hot water (not kidding). When they saw that wouldnt suffice for an excuse, the staff eventually corrected the problem by ferrying in wine buckets full of boiling hot water. I expect pedicures to be relaxing experiences. Between the constant interruptions of the water deliveries, it was anything but this. I called to share my experience with the management and to make them aware of an obvious resource problem, I was given nothing more than an apology. They defended the staff (fine) and provided that they hadnt tested the water before we were called back as an explanation. I have had too many pedicures in my life to take this as an excuse. Apparently, I spoke to this person upon leaving the spa, but her behavior at the time did not impress me as managerial (hence the reason for my follow-up phone call). My other complaint, one I decided wasn’t worth sharing with the unresponsive individual, was that the staff was obviously gossiping about the psoriasis on my friend’s legs, a skin condition she is very sensitive about. I found this extremely unprofessional and annoying. Women go to spas to be pampered and feel good about themselves not to be made uncomfortable.

The massage was crappy. I have been there on several occasions and service keeps getting worse. The reflexology massage by this older heavy set Caucasian lady was the worse. Not worth $2.00.

I frequent spas, and the definition of a massage with hot rocks, is not rub my body with rocks in your hands. This was a joke of a spa, especially for the price being charged. Out of an hour I may have had hands on me for 40 minutes, as the lady left the room and played with the water and rocks for at least 15 of the 60 minutes that was paid for/alloted. Will not be returning.
