I stumbled upon Steve when I was looking for a psychiatrist. He was the first to call me back. He made me feel very comfortable right away. I figured Id have to try multiple psychiatrists to find a good fit. I was so lucky to get matched up with him right away without having to try anyone else. Ive recommended him to friends and colleagues and always will.

I have been seeing Steven M Gordon since 2015. I have been to probably every therapist in the state of Maryland trying to find the one who seemed like they really cared about me and knew what I was trying to communicate with them. I finally found that in Steve! He is knowledgeable and attentive and makes me feel like a person and not just a patient. I moved out of state and tried to find someone who was even slightly comparable to him and just never could. Steve and I now have phone call sessions and I couldnt be more appreciative and am happy I get to continue working with him after all this time. I would refer him to any one! He is truly one of the nicest and most professional people I have yet to meet.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Gordon for years! We all love him! He has helped us all through so much! He’s very personable, and never judgmental. He always answers any questions or concerns I might have! I have recommended him to several friends of mine. He’s the best!

I have taken both of my teenage sons to Steven for over a year now. Steven was recommended to me by a friend who took her teens to see him. I really cannot more highly recommend Steven. My boys and I find him quite professional, friendly and patient. He has been a great source of guidance, comfort and support for my sons and everything that they have been dealing with. I scheduled an appointment with Steve Gordon for an evaluation. Upon arrival I was greeted by two receptionist. They asked me to take a seat in the in the waiting area, Steve came to escort me to his office within a few minutes. I shook his hand and proceeded to his office. There were a few chairs in his office, I asked if it matters where I sit and he said “just sit anywhere.” I took a seat, he asked how I was, I replied “anxious.” Admittedly, I am an awkward person. I strugggle with Military related PTSD along with other issues. Steve stood in the doorway with the door still open and stated that I seem hostile. He then said that he is “uncomfortable with my presence” and told me that the appointment is over. He did not take the time to listen or address any of my concerns. The entire interaction was unexpected and unprofessional. I struggle socially however, I have never been accused of being hostile or treated with such disrespect by a medical professional.

Dr. Gordon has been guiding me through my mental recovery and helping me understood and move forward with my mood disorders for years. To say he has saved my life wouldn’t be a stretch.

Me and 2 of my sons have been seeing Dr. Gordon for months. I have never felt uncomfortable, rushed or embarrassed by sharing my anxiety and family issues. I’ve received nothing but exceptional professionalism.
