First time at this dentist facility since moving here and my kids enjoyed it. They were patient with all of my kids and took their time to explain all the concerns about my kids dental hygiene. Only downside is I made the initial appointment in May and they were booked out until September but I’m glad I stuck it out and waited that long because they are awesome! I have already recommended this dentist to a few of my mommy friends.

My son had to have a procedure done with sedation. He was very nervous but Dr. Brian and his assistant were AMAZING! Our experience at Carolina Children’s Place is always a pleasure. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that my child has a positive experience. He has been going there since the age of one and our visits gets better every time.

My daughter and son have been patients of Dr. Goins for close to 15 years. In 15 years my family have not had one complaint or bad experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Appointments run on time and the patient care is second to none. We love Dr. Goins and her staff!

I had an appointment scheduled for October for my 2- and 3-year-old’s first cleaning and checkup, but I had a concern with my 3-year-old’s tooth and they got me in right away for an x-ray! The staff was so child-friendly and put both of my kids at ease. Dr. Varsha saw us and did a great job relating to him! I’m excited to take them back for their first cleaning, and am so thankful they got us in for an x-ray to put my mind at ease.

Dr. Felicia Goins is the best dentist on this side of heaven and earth. She is excellent with children and has a calming effect. She always review the x-rays with me because Im a Registered nurse and I need to see and know. The staff is very respectful and kind. During this pandemic, the staff has put everything in place to follow all CDC guidelines and the dental association so we can continue to bring our children to receive oral care. My daughter is VERY apprehensive about the dentist. She had a really bad experience before coming here. I wish I had known about this place the first time I took her because Dr. Beth was amazing. She sat and talked to my child to make her more comfortable before even touching her and no other dentist has done that before. She even got a few laughs out of her which has never happened in a dentist office 😅The dental assistant who took her xrays was also very sweet towards my daughter.Noone acted like she was too much which we got a lot of in previous dental offices.They really cared and worked with her.When we got out my daughter said that wasnt bad momShe still has to get some work done but Im very confident in taking her and my son here for all future dental care.

Carolina Children’s Dentistry is one of the best children’s dentist office I have ever had the pleasure of taking my child. The staff is exceptional and Dr. Goins is awesome with children. I was nervous at first with allowing her to go back by herself but the staff reassured me that she would be just fine not only with their actions but their words as well. A staff member came and got me after a considerable amount of time and I was able to observe my daughter in one of the most relaxed settings I could ever encounter in a dentist office. I would recommend Carolina Dentistry to anyone. I only wish they took adults too. 🙂

Staff extremely nice and very professional!

My almost 2-year-old needed his teeth pulled. They squeezed us in pretty quickly. They were so good with him. The entire process was so quick. They were personable and answered all of my questions and concerns. I’m so sad we have to move. I’d love to keep them as my children’s pediatric dentists. Dr. Brian was amazing! Such friendly and helpful staff all around. I highly recommend them to anyone!

We had a really great experience here! Only thing I didn’t love was the open room for all of the patients. If one kid cries they all hear it and it’s very echoey

We used Carolina Childrens Dentistry when we lived in Sumter and absolutely loved the staff there and when we moved i was worried about having to find a new dentist for our children in Columbia. But I was so happy to hear that they also had a Columbia location as well. It definitely took the edge off of finding new doctors and we wouldnt want anyone else taking care of our kids mouths.

They are very nice and went above and beyond with making sure my 5yr old was comfortable and making sure I was at ease as well as explained everything to me. They also called later that day to check on her.

Dr. Goings and staff are top notch when it comes to taking care of kids and parents.They calm all the fears and make it a wonderful experience for all. We have been seeing Dr. Goings for 12 years now and will continue until we age out.

We transferred over to Carolina Children’s dentistry when we had a referral for my daughter. Dr. Brian Han and his staff is amazing! He goes above and beyond and out of his way to make my daughter comfortable. He is so patient and kind and he sings!! Their office was able to get my daughter to take x-rays whereas our original provider could not do it. Their equipment is better than the previous provider. It’s a lot more kid friendly. I have since switched all my kids over to Dr Han and have never looked back.

It’s always a joy visiting Carolina Children’s Dentistry. This is our third visit and my daughter was completely comfortable with the experience. They are welcoming and very sanitary. Hands down THEE best children’s dentistry office I have ever visited! I love Dr. Goins and Dr. Bryan and the rest of the staff. They are always courteous and timely. The office parking area is nicely manicured and the office is always clean and kid friendly. Never have either of my little ones cried seeing the dentist. Have been to this location twice. Both times we were seen on time, friendly staff, were patient with my 4 year old and the doctor answered all my questions without rushing us off. My son enjoys going to the dentist now.

Carolina Childrens Dentistry has shown excellent care and service for all of our children, but as great as they have always been, I was never motivated to write a review until now. Last week, our toddler had a traumatic injury to her mouth in the evening, and Dr. Goins met us at the office after hours to care for her. Dr. Goins and her staff have shown such compassion and concern for her, calling to check on her multiple times. They have gone above and beyond! I have been very impressed and very grateful that we have them as part of our childrens care team. This is a wonderful practice full of loving, hardworking people!

Everyone was really nice. You can definitely tell they work with kids and know all the tricks to give them good dental care. With covid rules in place everything was still running smoothly and saw them cleaning everything as people came and went.

We tried many dentists in Columbia to find right fit for our scared 3 year girl that needed a lot of dental work. This practice is by far the best! She is now 4 and we just went for a follow up. She is no longer scared and even said she likes the dentist!! Yay! Dr. Brian, Laci, and the entire team are the best!!

My boys had a dental visit to Doctor Brian this morning, and I’m so thrilled with the whole experience. All the staff were kind and friendly and helpful in each step of the procedures. They were professional and prompt and made all of my kids feel welcome. Dr. Brian saw that my son had a shark shirt on, and pulled out his shark hat to make him smile. He also sang the baby shark song while he was examining the boys’ teeth, and the boys thought it was pretty awesome. All the while he was making the whole dentist visit for the kids pretty fun one, he was thorough with his work and also gave me specific and realistic advice on how I could help improve the kid’s dental health. My boys have no fear of dentist office and even my 3 year old completed his x- ray, teeth cleaning, and examination procedure without a single complaint or whinnying. I’m so pleased with Dr. Brian and Carolina Children’s dentistry and would recommend them to anyone.

Called to make an appointment for my son. They ask for his insurance and when I shared that he had Select Health, I was told the practice was not accepting patients with that insurance. Just an FYI to the practice owners; our entire family of 6 were in need of dentals services. 5 of us have commercial insurance, while only 1 has state insurance.
