The staff at Midlands Health Center is amazing! They are just like family. They genuinely care about you as a individual & your family.

This is the best chiropractor in Columbia. They are very flexible with scheduling & making sure you are able to be seen at a convenient time. Dr. McCaughan is very talented & experienced with adjustments. I had regular visits during my last pregnancy & it kept me comfortable throughout. Not to mention, the ladies who do the trigger points do an amazing job- it’s like getting a mini massage every visit. I very much look forward to my appointments at Midlands Health Center & try to get adjusted regularly!

This chiropractor has saved my entire body. When I first started going, I could barely move my entire body. I was in so much pain and pretty overweight due to depression. I just felt like my life was ending. They personalized a treatment plan for me and three months later, Im back to my old self again. I cant thank them enough!

Due to a car crash, I was recommended to this location and Ive had a really good experience coming to receive care for my back pain, the staff here is wonderful from the receptionist all the way up to Dr McCaughan, parking is never an issue, the facility is always clean and the staff make you feel like you are family, I would definitely recommend this chiropractor to anyone in need of care. I just want to thank the wonderful professionals for taking such good of me in my time of need.

Very nice, professional staff, courteous services and available to accommodate your varied schedules. Whether for a body alignment, post vehicular accident insurance care and AMAZING massages, this place is so worth checking out. Its a lovely facility and easy to locate and access. The physicians and chiropractic staff are wonderful, professional and caring. The massage staff are the BEST in the business! The facility is clean and has very nice parking below the building with an elevator and stairs for easy entry and exiting.

I cannot thank the staff enough!! I was referred here by a friend. Staff is completely understanding when dealing with someone in pain. I literally could not move my neck or shoulder when I walked in. Dr. McCaughan, did a complete and thorough exam with staff helping and also adjusted my back. Instantly. I do mean instantly, I was able to move. Im still sore, but not in tears like I was, driving there. And Im confident to feel better in a few days. The location is very easy to get to, even for someone like me brand new to Columbia. Thank you so much Midlands Health Center!! You are amazing.

Dr. McCaughan has helped me time and time again. It is amazing what they can do here for ones back. I truly cannot say enough great things. 🙂I have been in several times since the pandemic began and I can say that the staff takes great measure to ensure all patients are safely seen. Everyone has on masks, chairs are separated out for social distancing and everyone has their temperature checked upon arrival. Great job!

I love this place,if I didnt experience it for myself; I wouldnt believe it. I had labs the day after my massage,and all my labs came back normal. No MRI this year!!!!

Staff is very professional and empathetic to my needs and comfort level. I am seeing slow improvement for a severe pain issue, and I have every expectation that my progress will continue to increase. The environment is clean and organized.

The adjustment doctor and staff Mary is awesome. Also they have very friendly front desk for scheduling and calling. However, the case management team is terrible! The case manager does not care your case at all not communicating no following up. All they want is to calculate your cost which they call a therapeutic plan. Again, I think Dr. McCaughan and nurse Mary are both great professionals but the so called case management team is very disappointing and careless.

The staff here are all very nice and very helpful, and Dr. McCaughan is fantastic. As someone who needs individualized care, I can 100% say that Midlands Health Center delivers and has helped me beyond description.

I just had the worst doctor’s office experience here this morning with my mother. My mother has been enduring excruciating pain in her hip and leg after a bad fall. We were referred to Dr. Bill by a friend who assured us they would take good care of us. After I made the initial appointment over the phone, the office called us back and told my mother that, because she was referred, she would not have to pay for X-rays or the consult. The only remaining cost would be the adjustment itself, and that they would file that with her Medicare.We get to the office 15 minutes early, at 8:45 a.m. after waiting 10 minutes, they hand us a large pile of paperwork to fill out. I’ve worked for a chiropractor before - why didn’t they mail the paperwork to my mother ahead of time so she could fill it out in the comfort of her own home? Instead of making her sit for 40 more minutes in a horribly uncomfortable waiting area that makes the bus station feel like a day spa.When we finally got to the end of her paperwork, a girl sat us down in an office to go over the financial aspect. Apparently, Medicare won’t allow them to offer free services to us if Medicare is to cover any part. So they wouldn’t be offering us free X-rays and a free consult after all. And what’s more, they wouldn’t be directly filing with Medicare. We’d have to pay hundreds of dollars on the first visit, then have Medicare (possibly) reimburse us.No one told us this over the phone. After speaking to them twice about my mother being on Medicare, and which services were covered or free, they were indeed aware my mother’s insurance was Medicare. There was plenty of time and plenty of ways for them to warn us that we were going to have to pay hundreds of dollars - instead of $41 - on her first visit.But, as greedy, unethical people so often do, they lied to us to get us in the door, and made us sit there for an hour doing a ridiculous amount of paperwork. They probably figured after all of that, we’d just agree to pay them hundreds of dollars simply because we had waiting so long. By the time the girl told my mother and I the truth, Mom’s pain had gone from bad to intolerable from. The employee absolutely refused to help us when we asked them simply to not put the visit under her insurance. Being that they were at fault for lying to us in the first place, they should have agreed to their original agreement and charged us only $41 for everything. Nope, of course they wouldn’t help.The young girl then suggested to let us speak to the owner, Dr. Bill. We agreed, and waited for her to go get him. She came back and told us never mind, that he was with a patient. So he literally did not give a damn about us at all.I have never visited such a heartless, unethical, crooked, lying, and unorganized medical practice in my life. They tormented my mother, who is 70 years old and has high blood pressure already, for hours, only to kick her out in more pain than she came in with. She was so upset, her face was bright red and she started sobbing as soon as we got back to the car. She was looking forward to finally getting some relief. These are horrible people. Do not waste your time and energy with them. Despicable disregard for human beings.

I highly recommended Midland health Center. I work in healthcare and I know what to recognize when going in any facility as Palmetto has taught us one person, one moment, one love. In our mission is to make that person feel as if there our top priority along with compassionate care. Dr. McCaughan is a excellent example of true passion for his job. I remember my first day in, I told him I was afraid in every since he has made me feel comfortable in always make you feel as he care about you. Most important he calls you by name. Whitney is a great reception👌. Kristin is another example of excellent she does it all when there short she jump right in and help them out. Kenny is new but, he fit right in he doesnt mind working & he is also nice and friendly. This place also have some great workers on the first floor I cant remember there name but kodos to yall. Also there was a tech there name Stephanie she was great also. 😘😘👌🎉🌟✨
