Excellent experience and world class staff. My injuries have been improving and it is mainly due to The Joint. Miranda at the front desk is a subject matter expert in her position and never hesitates to help customers with any issues that may arise. Dr. Cooper is very knowledgeable and has a great personality that puts patients at ease. Looking forward to many more visits.

I walked in hoping to schedule a consultation, and the receptionist asked Whats the problem while guest were in the lobby. I found her questioning and demeanor highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Why am I being asked to discuss my physical condition in the lobby with a non-medical health professional? Then she stated that they recommend getting a massage at Massage Envy and to come back if that doesnt work. What kind of establishment turns down a potential client and recommends another company? I will not be returning!

I have tried at least 5 locations and they have all been good. The black female chiropractor that I saw was phenomenal. I felt so good that evening, and got some great maintenance advice.

Dr. Johnson did an excellent job explaining the process, executing the manipulations, and ensuring I understood what is going on with my body. My back was relieved to say the least and not in pain when I left. I highly recommend The Joint of Forest Acres! You’ll be in great hands❤️

I’m in and out usually less than 10minutes. I’ve 4-5 different people work on me. Only had one bad experience since I started going about a year ago. I have severe back pain and when the lady chose only did my upper back and neck I was back in two days later to have a redo. I’m usually only in once a week, but when I had to go a second time in the same week was unnecessary had she done everything originally. Otherwise they are fantastic. I find them very easy to talk to especially regarding any new pain or worse pain than usual. I highly recommend them to everyone that complains of joint or back pain. The best thing is that they are walk-in so you can go on your schedule. I find them conveniently located.

I first came in with sciatic nerve pain. I tried everything and Dr. J took care of it all. She is amazing. I come weekly for adjustments and have had no more problems. I recommend The Joint on Forest Dr. every chance I get.

While here in the Columbia area for training, I attempted to get an appointment for an adjustment. Unfortunately, since I haven’t got an adjustment since 2019, I could not be seen. The representative said that it would take too long and it’s Saturday. Additionally, she told me the closing time is 3 when they close at 4. Moreover, adjustments take 10 minutes and the paperwork isn’t that intense. She she didn’t even offer to schedule an appointment which is more mind boggling.What is even more interesting, my buddy who’s white called without ever going to the joint and was able to get an appointment the same day when we called.I’m starting to see this trend when I call places of business for appointment based clients. My money is just as green as the next person.

Came here with my husband because of the $29 deal for first timers. Staff wasn’t too pleasant but the adjustments we received were subpar at best. The chiropractor didn’t even work on us for 2 or 3 minutes total, pulled something in my neck while trying to adjust me, and was all in all a poor experience. I LOVE going to the chiropractor and have went most of my life so I was incredibly disappointed when I walked out feeling worse than I did walking in. Not worth the money or the short amount of time.

Pretty good experience they have gotten me feeling much better than I was before. They finally diagnosed what was going wrong with me. My only advice is to make sure you know who is working that day so you can make sure you are working with people whose chiropractic methods work with your body and issues you are facing.

Within 6 weeks I feel like a new person. Very professional, clean and prompt. Even used a location out of state! Overall Great Place!

Ive been going here for years. They know what theyre doing! I highly recommend! Anytime I pull something or throw my back out, this is the first place I head to. Never had a problem with any adjustment Ive received. Every doctors adjustment brings a different specialty and expertise that gives each experience a unique and different perspective. I have recommended several friends over the years and theyve all loved it! Once a week, at your convenience, youll leave with that feeling of, feeling like jello.

I’ve been treated at the Forest Drive location of the Joint for over 2 years and have always received excellent treatment. Quick but thorough chiropractic treatment with friendly staff and while I’ve visited other offices, Forest Acres is my preferred location.

Please don’t go here. I am now in so much pain. Headaches I never had before. Neck aches too! I I’ve been seeing chiropractors for 6 years now. I went to the joint on recommendation. My only issue was a mid back issue. For some reason the lady cracked my neck. I now get chronic tension headaches and my neck always huts. I’m scared of going to another chiropractor. You ruined my life quality because you couldn’t take the time to listen. They don’t even warm you up before adjusting!

Today was my first visit at The Joint. The atmosphere was very peaceful and it smelled really good. Dr. Johnson was amazing. She cracked my neck and I felt so much better once she was done. I went ahead a got a membership because I definitely want to come back.

There are a lot of mixed reviews and here is the deal: their hours are super convenient, no appointment needed, quick and cheap. This place is perfect for people with mild to moderate discomfort with their back. I get migraines and my SI joint pops out a lot, Ive had great luck with numerous joint locations. You will likely get different practitioners when you go frequently so not everyone is going to get to know you on a personal level, thats the only down side. You can always call ahead to see if the doctor you like is working that day - Ive had to do that at different locations because only certain people could adjust me well. For the money you pay this is a great service. They cant control how their clients act, and I appreciate Dr. Nortons friendliness. Most of the complaints I see about this location are because people didnt understand their contract, they didnt like certain people there, etc. You pay a cheap price to keep a monthly contract and need to cancel in advance like any contract- or you can pay $40 + per visit elsewhere.So, if you have any serious issues with your back, like needing surgery and adjustments are not going to fix your problem, or are expecting a dedicated provider this might not be the place for you. If you know adjustments help you and you want to have an inexpensive easy place to go - this is the place.

It was a dynamically different chiropractic clinic. The atmosphere felt open and less like a cheap doctors office. I loved the fact that extensive time was taken to understand what I have already been diagnosed and what care has already been done. So many times if feels like the provider is only half listening and will provide me the same care. The chiropractor explained as he was adjusting why he was doing things differently. It felt like it was less about the aesthetic of hearing a popping sound and more about long term recovery.

Every time I go there with back pain, I know as soon as I come out I will be pain free. They have amazing doctors. Very knowledgeable on all things back and neck pain. They are great. Keep up the good work

After hearing about this place from my brother and my roommate, I wanted to come check it out. The lady at the counter was very nice and helped me fill out the necessary paperwork. Dr. Johnson came out and introduced herself then took me to the back and gave me a full explanation of what she would do to relieve my pain and discomfort. Furthermore, she took the time to explain how my daily habits and posture affect my joints and my back and advised this also deals with the discomfort that I feel in my hands. I was also provided with details on how I should continue forward to avoid further issues. Definitely reccomend this place to everyone!

I have been going here since I was 28 weeks pregnant and my son is now 5 months. I typically seeDr. Singleton who has been amazing and my son loves him too! I have seen a couple other Drs and they have been great too.

Would not recommend. You get what you pay for and there is a reason this place offers cheap chiropractic service. Further more, if you do not sign a cancellation form they will continue billing you. And if you do sign a cancellation form you better save a copy, because they will say you didnt and bill you. I would not give them your credit card info, unless you are prepared for a battle to get charges to cease.

Very friendly, great Doctors on rotation(some work better for me than others, but all are good at adjustments), great prices. Gone to chiropractic offices for years and already know what care I need to do at home for my chronic pain so I only need adjustments. Remember to always tell them whats going on with your body thats different, even knee pain or shoulder pain make your back need a different adjustments

My initial visit at the joint was amazing. The gentleman that did my adjustment asked me if I had any specific concerns and made sure I was comfortable. My visit today was not so. I arrived at opening and the front desk associate was having an issue logging in to her computer. Fine, it happens. I can even disregard the lack of professionalism handling that entire situation, but what bothered me is that the chiropractor that was in today (I dont remember his name) just told me to lie down, didnt ask about any concerns, made a few pops and sent me on my way. Initially I felt some relief and now a few hours later the pain is back. I understand it being busy but it felt like we were cattle going in and out. I think Id rather spend money for chiropractic care in a doctors office setting where time is actually taken to address problems. Kudos to the guy who helped me before. If I do go back (which isnt likely), I would only see the first chiropractor I saw there.

What I love about The Joint is the convenience and availability! Just walk in, scan and get cracked! Voila! Done! Part of my weekly health maintenance routine including the gym and good eating!

Let me preface this by saying I have been a long time member of The Joint, and up until last night had been a huge proponent of their style of business. I even convinced my new husband to join, and several family members and friends. Upon arrival my husband and I had noticed that there were a four people filing out paper work and one woman,more like a boisterous lout, sitting across from them. We had always received prompt, courteous service even during the busiest of times so we chose to scan our cards and wait. While we waited I was subjected to this womans current personal crisis (including some debt she feels she doesnt owe, etc.), and her telephone chat with Bob about how she should get a discount for bringing soo much business. Well, Bob, she drove away twice as many patrons as she brought you that evening. Four people walked out disgusted. Not to mention the sour taste left in the mouths of the people who watched as they danced around the exam area and horse played. My chiropractic appointment should be a chance for me to unwind and relax. Just the opposite occurred...I didnt even want the treatment once I was called, and now I am having to try to convince a VERY unhappy husband to even retain his membership. Someone needed to let these new members know that this was a place of business...no, more than that, this is a place of wellness....it is not a night club or frat party.UPDATE:I have to say that the owner was quick to respond, and addressed the problem professionally. It has kept me as a patient.

The chiropractors here have worked miracles on my back and neck!! I am now able to do light exercises such as yoga again. Also I am down to one migraine every two weeks, from one every other day! The owner and all of the staff are very friendly, courteous and understanding!!

I visited with lumbar pain and left with an extremely sore back & shoulder pain. The technique was entire too aggressive. Not to mention it lasted 3mins..now what kind of quality care is so shortly lived? There was zero warming up muscles before adjusting either. I have had treatments many times before and it was a completely different experience.

I have always been a supporter of chiropractic medicine until visiting this clinic. After about 2-3 months of weekly visits I started having tingling, numbness and significant pain along the lower and mid-portions of my back. When I went in for my next visit, not only did the practitioner brush off my concerns but insisted they had nothing to do with the issue and that I was fine.After that visit I was so offended by the way my issue was handled I told them I was not coming back again. They said NOTHING about their policy that requires handwritten cancellation and let me leave. I come to find out that they have been billing my credit card for 6 MONTHS. To be clear here, not only did they continue to auto-charge my account for the original 6 month agreement but ALSO extended another 6 MONTH contract without any permission whatsoever.What a waste of time, money and effort. Not to mention a back injury that continues to plague me daily from their treatment.Do not go here! They were nothing but unhelpful scammers.

After going to a Chiropractor that charged $40/adjustment, paying $59 for 4 adjustments is amazing. They rotate Chiropractors- no telling who you will get when you go in. Some I like better than others. I have had about 5 different doctors since starting treatment in November. I have chronic migraines and going here helps a lot. I can go in with a headache and walk out feeling a million times better. It has really helped, and for the price you cant beat it.

Have been a patient at Forest Acres since March 26, 2013. Have also used other two locations on occasion. I have a monthly plan that I use weekly. Have NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. Has been a great experience . Staff truly cares and have kept me mobile.

Love Drs D and Singleton!! They fixed me after another chiropractor passed my issue off as a virus. Dr. Norton is creepy. He makes me feel dirty after he looks at me. I was adjusted by him once and he did his thing but ignored my complaint, so his adjustment didnt help me at all. If it wasnt for Dr. Norton, itd definitely be 5 stars!

I typically go on feeling awful, but leave feeling remarkable and more at ease. The doctors are kind and each have their own techniques. I would advise the Forest Acres location to buy new waiting room furniture not for look, but ease of getting out of.

My experience has been excellent. I never knew how important chiropractic care was for my overall quality of life until I started visiting the joint. My everyday discomforts are almost completely gone after 2 months of weekly visits. This has become apart of my routine. Being active with the gym and exercise makes this care even more important to me because it keeps me from risking injury. I frequent the Forest acres and the irmo locations. Love them and my care plan.

It all depends on who provides the service!!! I signed up for a membership after visiting once. That was a mistake. The first chiropractor did wonders to my neck, which was stiff after going to Universal in Orlando. The conversation was professional and wholly appropriate.A month later, I visited again. Another chiropractor actually made my back and neck hurt after the visit. Moreover, he made me uncomfortable by talking about God and his beliefs, and then randomly saying wax on, wax off, in reference to The Karate Kid. It just happens to be that I am Asian… Coincidence or not?

I have been living with pain from an old injury and was only making it to my regular chiropractor a couple of times a year because even though he was great he was expensive and appointments generally had to be made weeks in advance. My boyfriend introduced me to this place and it has turned my life around. I get adjusted every week whether I feel I need to or not and for the first time in years I can go about living my very active lifestyle with little to no pain. Upsides: hundreds of locations around the country so I can get adjusted on the road, so so affordable, and military and vet pricing, and multiple doctors so if I have something new troubling me I dont have to wonder if my doctor can handle it or not because at least one of them can! Downsides: none? Sometimes there is a wait but waiting 30 minutes is nothing compared to 3 weeks for a regular doctor. LOVE THIS PLACE. I go to every single clinic in Cola depending on what doc I want to see (usually Singleton or Bell for my needs) or what errand I am running that day.

I recommend Dr. Singleton or Dr. D at this location. No apt needed. Many locations around town and in SC for those who travel for work.

I am a high school Varsity Football and Baseball player. I have had lots of injuries with playing sports over the years and my parents suggested I give The Joint a try to help with my back and SI joint pain. I have seen a lot of improvement with my back and SI problems and my performance on the field. Its very convenient to run in get adjusted and run out as I have a busy schedule.

BLUF: Expect extra charges you will need to contest.The Joint is a moderately professional chiropractor group;in a moderately clean building;with excessively stringent account cancelation policies - they dont even follow.Each location has a rotating staff of chiropractors and you will be seen by whomever is in that day without choice.The front area of the establishment is trendy and clean. Once you get past the receptionist, the decor is dated, faded, dull, and dusty.The company policy of providing written account cancelation and receiving an extra monthly charge for processing time is ridiculous. The problem is they dont even follow that and will attempt to charge you for another month on top of that.My wife and I are contesting the charges through our bank because the company is claiming their policies allow them enough flexibility to keep charging us.They are definitely not worth the trouble.

The Joint in Columbia was very nice at first. Then when you sign up for the 6 month plan they gottcha... They can treat you any way they want because they have a guaranteed income. The doctor was especially uncaring and harsh, with no concern for the effects. On the other hand, The clinic in Greenville is a whole different story. The doctor was kind, gentle, and caring...

While visiting an old friend in Columbia, SC , he wanted me to help him check out a new Chiropractic Clinic called The Joint... Since I have had previous chiropractic care in the past I welcomed his request. ..Doctors of Chiropractor perform adjustments with the intention to affect or correct alignment, motion, and or function of a vertebral joint which is normally called Spinal Adjustment I know in my case that most of my problems were associated with lower back pain and neck problems that would cause me headaches.On entering any medical facility like this a Chiropractic degree is required, so that area checked out here with licensed chiropractors listed.What was interesting is that they offer Chiropractic plans at a fairly low rate for a single appointment, month-to-month , and a premium plan which required a 6-month agreement but gave additional visits for $12... UNREAL !!Plus appointments were not required... Since my friends insurance would not cover this type of care ...he wanted me ( since I have partial coverage with my insurance of $2000 a year) to tell him if this was a good deal...... That I can can say in the affirmative as my copay with my own Chiropractor is higher than those charged at the Joint Actually, I met the owner, Bob Keen, a medical professional, who saw the need for back and joint relief without resorting to pain meds which sometimes mask an alignment problem. He offered us a tour of the facility, and we were impressed with the professional atmosphere and the modern equipment....Long Story Short... My friend signed up for the month to month plan because of his lower back pain, and was promptly seen, and experienced relief... You have to love the name The Joint I laughed the 1st time I heard it...but with insurance coverage spotty at best, its about time that someone would make this type of care affordable and appointments when you need them. Just wish there was one located in my city... But if Im in Columbia I can drop in anytime..BTY the location I visited was at 4710 Forest Drive, very nice location with a name .....YOU, will remember...
