Ive been seeing Dr. Ryan for almost a year now and I always leave Focus on Health feeling so much better than when I went in. I have always had migraines from pinched nerves in my neck but through routine visits with him, I havent had one for months. Even if I dont think anything seems out of place, keeping up with monthly visits has made a huge difference in how my body feels day to day. And when I do something that causes a flare up of pain I know I can call and get in quick and walk away feeling so much better! Focus on Health is the first chiropractor that I have been to that evaluates without x-ray, by actually evaluating your movements, to determine what is causing your issue. They then develop a treatment plan that includes physical therapy type exercises combined with adjustments, to heal and prevent the issue you are being seen for. They are 100% for rehabilitating and helping you to be the best, healthiest version of yourself. They don’t rush or make you feel rushed during your appointment. They take time to listen, get to know you, and address any questions. If I’m not being clear enough, they do everything possible to help you so you come in less, because that means they have helped you heal. Every chiropractor I’ve been to in the past, at least in the Columbia area, has felt like they are doing everything they can to see me more and make more money, none of them have ever made my health feel like the ultimate goal. Long story short...I emphatically recommend Focus on Health!

I have been to many chiropractors over the years and been blessed with very good care. My chiropractor retired and I had a very serious injury that physical therapy and pain management really did not significantly help. I required either a walker or cane to get around, and even a wheelchair at times. I was referred to Focus on Health while waiting for a neurosurgeon consultation. Dr Curt and Dr Ryan knew just what was needed and I was pain free in 3 weeks after enduring 11 months of pain and weakness. I did see the neurosurgeon who confirmed I did have a condition that might require surgery, but he was pleased with the results from chiropractic adjustments and thought that my best option.I really like that the doctors here have put thought into how often I needed to come for treatment instead of setting up multitudes of appointments. They have followed up to see how I am doing and I have gone back for a few “tweaks” as needed. My previous chiropractor was so wonderful, and I feel blessed that I was able to find the same high level of knowledge, care, and compassion at Focus on Health Chiropractic.

After a bad experience at a different Columbia Chiropractor I was a little worried. However Dakota took all those worries away within just a few minutes! I was comfortable and feel like we have a good treatment plan.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this practice. From the first moment when I walked in the door to today, 6 weeks later, the staff and docs have been beyond friendly and all about customer service. While that is tremendously important to me, the MOST important part I cannot say enough about is the care I receive there. When I walked into their office 6 weeks ago I could barely get around and was facing a possible back surgery. They were my last hope. We have worked together as a team.... the docs listen so intently to what I have to say and then we work together on the most effective step forward. As a result I am literally greater than 80% better and I am full on working out with a trainer now! It is simply miraculous! I love this office!!! Dr Ryan has been an amazing leader of my team and I cannot recommend him more. I have also occasionally seen Dr Curt and I feel the same about him. They work together seamlessly as well!!! And the rest of the team is truly top notch too! They have taught me body position and strengthening exercises to help with my treatment! If I could give them a 10 I certainly would!!!

I Have been going to Focus on Health for around 5-6 years.. Doctor Curt and the entire office has always taken great care of me and my numerous injuries. My last injury was a bad hip pain. I would wake up and not be able to walk. On the 1-10 scale my pain was a 10!!! Went to see Doctor Curt and after 5 treatments that included dry needling, hands on treatment and seeing the office Chiropractic Asst for hip exercises my pain is completely gone. I had severe neck pain for over 6 weeks, tried lots of stretching, resting and medications. I decided to visit Dr Curt and thank goodness I did. It’s been less than a week since my first appointment (I’ve had 2 visits) and I have mobility back and I’m nearly pain free. Being a body builder I beat my body up alot more then I should. When I started going to Focus on Health they didnt rush threw the process to get me in and out. The went over every body part and its functions, we talked about helping with my posing for shows, and even gave me tips for at home PT. Even with my crazy they get me in when I need it. The staff makes you feel right at home. 10/10

I was having numbness in one of of arms each morning when waking up. I am not a fan of chiropractic care, but my wife told me I should see Dr. Curt Kippenberger. He was very professional and provided a diagnose in my first visit. By my second visit I was already noticing a reduction in my numbness. By week 6 my numbness is almost gone. I highly recommend this facility as their focus is just not the issue, but how to care for your body long term.

Dr. Curt has been adjusting me regularly for a couple years. I recently went for a medical procedure at another facility where they had some old records. They asked if was still having problems with migraines. I told them that I no longer had that problem since Id been getting regular adjustments from my chiropractor. Dr. Curt is great at distracting me while hes doing adjustments so I dont tense up. The whole staff make the visits quite pleasant.
