Doctor Mazzei is wonderful, talking to you in layman’s terms so you can understand your diagnosis and treatment. I’ve been going to him since he came to Columbia (10 years ago) and he performed my ablation surgery that corrected my AFIB. I highly recommend him.

Seriously unhappy with this office and the friendliness of the staff and Medical professionals. Dr Mazzei rushed me through my doctors appointment after trying to get my short term disability paperwork updated. I already was supposed to be out until my procedure because of the issues I was having related to my heart condition. He refused to update the paperwork so I had to go back to work 2 weeks before my procedure. After I had a surgery in this facility, I acquired a nosocomial infection that put me in the hospital for 3 days. This office did not follow up with me until almost 2 weeks after my procedure. Getting my short term disability paperwork filled out was a nightmare. The lack of response caused me to miss a paycheck which caused me to get several late fees. Never again. I am moving ALL of my care to Lexington Medical Center. DO BETTER. I wish I had run far away from this facility but I couldn’t because of my AFIB.

He is an arrogant doctor who puts down other medical professionals as if they are beneath him. He doesn’t like to work with other doctors who monitors your blood pressure to ensure accurate diagnosing of your heart.
