I’m currently sitting here and it’s been almost three hours. I signed in at 1:48 pm assuming it wouldn’t be a long wait due to there being 4 workers and three well, four plus me clients in the salon. I waited to be greeted well, I wasn’t… I walked up the to counter and asked when would it be my turn.. mind you everyone else was under the dryer. I was literally the only person that needed their hair washed. Well, after 30 minutes my hair was washed. I sat under the dryer for about 45. I was finally out from under the dryer seated in a chair closer to the beautician. Well, the gentleman can in with a bag of food and a six pack of Presidente’ and the Owner (I’m assuming since she worked the least) went to the back and left the older and younger lady up front. It’s been a terrible experience and I honestly would NOT recommend this location to ANYONE. I’d avoid it at all cost.It’s currently 4:28 and I’m waiting to have my hair blown out.

The process of me getting a blowout took very long. I was in the dryer for about 1 hour and the people that worked there kept passing me like I was invisible. When I got my hair washed, the guy that did it was very aggressive with my hair and scrubbed way too hard. I definitely wouldn’t come back again.

Good experience been coming for years. But they close whenever they want and open whenever they want. Dont plan on them as a last minute because they more than likely will be closed

Post COVID...the salon is so clean. They wipe down after every customer...the chairs, the shampoo area, etc. They are kind and patient with my daughter who is visually impaired and has a brain injury.

I will start by saying that they do great hair. I find It unprofessional that one person is doing all the blow outs. There is one other woman here who washes the hair but nothing else. If you have 6 hours to wait and get your hair done then this is the place for you. Ps the woman who does the blowouts is also the woman who has to roll your hair. Etc etc! As I said in the beginning... the owner does great hair but you shouldn’t have to wait 6 hours for a blowout! I’ve gotten micro braids that have taken less time.

I went Saturday to get my hair cut in a short and Curly hair style I called Friday to make sure that they were able to achieve my hair, the lady that I spoke to told me that they were able to do it and to come in on Saturday. Saturday came I came with my friend I showed her the pictures and she told me it would be 35 dollars for everything I said okay and it took them 5 hours to do my hair the First Lady snatches me up and just starts cutting my hair and then another lady comes and tells me that they don’t know how to do the cut that I asked for and tries to curl my hair and tells me I don’t have enough hair for the style that I wanted because they cut my hair to short I left the salon crying and heartbroken I literally looked like a little boy. My hair was uneven, my hair smell burnt and they lied and their racists PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING HERE

Too many hands in my head. I left there with the back of my and ears burned. My hair smelled burnt fries. They do not clean their equipment. They drop combs and proceed to use the dirty item in your head. I had to wash my hair several times due to the burnt smell. I never had a problem getting a blowout. This was far the worst experience. I will not patronize their establishment again

TERRIBLE!! I called and asked what time they closed and was informed that as long as I was there by 6:20 I would still be able to get my hairs done. I arrived at 6:17 and they refused to do my hair. Most unprofessional experience I have ever had from a salon. Not to mention I drove 40 mins from home to get there. I wish I could leave 0 stars!

I have been to this salon before 2 years ago before moving here & I had a great experience then. I went today & Leslie did my blow-out, she was kind & gentle & took the time to ask me how I wanted my hair parted etc... My hair has never been this straight or had a silky feel to it & I’m most appreciative of this salon for that experience!! Thank you Leslie for making this visit pleasurable, I will surely return & hope u will be available on my next visit!!

Cash only, just a reminder. Seems there is still a language barrier, but very little is lost in translation. Extremely pleased with the results. I did not give 5 stars because I was put under the steam dryer without a cape. Reasonable price with the desired result. FYI Im a Naturalista so Im accustomed to several hours in the salon. Every minute was spent in transition very little plain idle time. Be patient, its worth it.

I go here every so often and when I go I always have Vicky do my hair. She is excellent and she does not burn your scalp. She gets my hair straight and trims so well. I went to someone else before and they burned my scalp so she is my go to person always.

Claudia is the bomb, the wash, deep condition and overall hair care for natural and permed hair is phenomenal

I wish I could give no stars.Worst experience ever.i have been natural for over 4 years. Went in for a blowout and trim.. I had 4c hair..after a week I went to wash my hair and it will not curl back up..It looks like my hair was permed.

Now, I have been a regular customer at this salon for YEARS. The last time I have been was 2 years ago. I would only go to Claudia. She was the best. I guess shes no longer there. Ive had experience with Maribel.. shes too rough. I recently let her blow my hair out about 2 weeks ago. My scalp was burnt & still is burnt. My hair smelt fried & still is. I literally was in pain the whole time & shed a few tears. Im not tender headed btw. The lady who washed & roller set my hair was extremely rough! She combed my hair so wrong! Starting from the roots to the ends which broke my hair off badly... Im natural as well! They use the small-toothed combs which isnt great for natural hair.. I washed my hair today to revert back to my curly hair... Alot of my hair fell out! I dont have any heat damage thank God but I will NEVER go back. I was charged $50 and the bad thing is my hair wasnt fully straightened. Once i went home I used the flat iron & had to redo my own hair! She did horrible on my ends. RIP OFF! Go at your own risk but i wouldnt recommend this Salon to anyone! They only care about your money!!! UPDATE: I realized I actually did get heat damage, i had to cut about 7-8 inches of my hair off, 5 months later because my hair was so limp and straggly.. I couldnt take it anymore.

This salon is very unique. The ladies who work there are very skilled in what they do. Not having to many salons in this area that are skilled in all types of hair, I can say they are the best. The wait can be long ,but it is understandable because they are very good at what they do. My only regret is that they only have one location that I know of. Gracias por todo.

Service was great. One of the only true dominican salons in the area. The only issue for me is they didnt quite understand what I wanted. There may be a bit of a language barrier there. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Bad experience when i got my hair done she burned my scalp so bad all though it did look good afterwards when i washed my hair out my texture was different and was fallin out in clumps I’ve been natural for years and have never had this happen called to ask them what type of chemicals they used and she told me they use perm!!! Very upset that they didn’t disclose that before hand been over a month my hair is still falling out and is not as curly.

I will say they are the best that I have found so far since I left Georgia.

The stylist whose chair is closest to the register (whom normal does a wonderful job) gave me a wash and set, the finished results looked rushed and the only thing that was straight on my head was my eyebrows, I expressed my concern because it was after closing as the other ladies were leaving, the very next day she said she could fix it, I explained to her from Cosmetologist to Hairstylist that , repeating this service within 24hrs is unhealthy and damaging to ones hair, I even asked for a partial refund because a service was still done. She declined the offer and wants me to take them to court! Triple check your hair before you pay anyone in this salon! I will never go there again

My kids and I been customers for 3 years I used to go once or twice a month to get my hair blown out. Around tax time we went get our hair done. There was a hairdresser who had an attitude while she was doing my 9 year hair. My daughter told her she wanted her hair blown out not roller set and sit under dryer. she told my daughter she didnt feel like doing her hair the way she wanted because she was tired and hungry and they were busy all day so either she get the roller set or nothing. I asked to speak to the owner because I was really upset how she was talking to my child and how can you tell someone youre going to do they hear the way you wanted to be done and I have to pay for it. While I was talking to the owner she was speaking in Spanish talking trash about my daughter and I. My daughter is half Spanish so I speak a little Spanish she didnt know I understood what she was saying she was saying she didnt care if she lose a loyal customer that she didnt care about anything she didnt care about these people. Every time they have customers come in there talking trash about their customers in Spanish.

This is the true spot. Dont sleep on it, the owner knows her stuff n everyone who comes in have a head full of hair n i see the same people each week. i am trying to grow mine out and I will get there with their helps it maybe helpfull to bring your own shampoo n or perm. They are professional n will work with you if you are not happy. Try it believe me you will be hsppy!!!

This place burned my hair!!! They rake through your hair snatching it out. Im not tender headed so I didnt say anything. Then when it came time to blow dry and flat iron my hair she BURNED my scalp, ears, and hair. My hair was falling out in hands full. Im left with an entire section missing in the back and on one side in the front. I may have to take legal action this is ridiculous

Very unprofessional and rude staff. They will burn your hair. My hair is very thin and breaking off since going to them. Horrible place will never go back. I dont believe everyone is certified to do hair in this shop. It has been reported that the have checimals in their product.

This was my first time at a Dominican salon. Wasnt impressed at ALL. First off, my greeting I received was awkward. from the moment I first walked in with a smile and a hello, one of the stylists at the front who was supposed to greet me, literally MEAN MUGGED me for like 30 seconds straight, and when I gave her a confused looked, motioned for me to go to the sink for the shampoo...after shampooing & roller setting, seemed like she didnt know what she was doing blow drying my hair. Half way thru, Another stylist had to step in and take over. I will say this lady was a LITTLE more pleasant, she finished blow drying, flat ironing, and trimmed my ends (did a good job w trimming). From the moment she was done, I wasnt that impressed w my results, as my hair did not turn out that smooth. Ive gotten my hair 10x smoother at salons that dont do all those unnecessary steps (roller set, blow dry, AND flat iron), only flat iron(Ive even gotten my own hair smoother w a flat iron at home) and poofed up the NEXT DAY. I also spent like $30 on an Uber there and back, which isnt their fault, but I would have at least like to have had nice results after all of that time, trouble, and energy spent. Wont be coming back.

They make up prices as they go they will tell you a price on the phone and then when you get to the salon it’s $20 more 🙄🙄. Also, you all should be careful about the things you say in Spanish just because I appear black doesn’t mean I am and I don’t understand what your saying.

They had a full house a was rushing. The lady who shampooed my hair didnt even comb it before applying product, too rough while washing and didn’t comb from ends to roots. And the shampoo smelled like dish detergent!!!! Terrible
