I am thrilled beyond words that my mother is a resident of Reminiscence Care at Sunrise of Columbia. The care and compassion that she receives from every staff member involved in her care, and from the staff manning the front desk, the housekeeping staff, the nurses, and probably other people I havent met, is beyond my expectations. John, Mary, Shelley, Finda, Fabienne, Neena, Tamara, Kathy, Melodie, Glenda - these are just a few of the people whove touched my mother and whove allowed me to feel much less stress than I couldve imagined. Add in the daily activities, the homey, comfortable setting, the attention to details both inside and outside the building, and what my mother calls great food, and you have a winner.

The difference in my mothers health, acuity and strength from before her moving in to a few months after is a remarkable testament to the care she receives at Sunrise. The staff is warm, the ambience is calm and peaceful and joyful too.

Sunrise of Columbia is a beautiful and clean facility, but what truly sets it apart are the staff members. John, the Director of Sales was knowledgeable, endlessly patient and kind. Mary, the Director of Nursing is an amazing asset to the facility. Her knowledge base, work ethic, and overall dedication to the residents is incredible. Every staff member from caregivers to activity coordinatiors to housekeeping staff obviously love their residents. Difficult situations are handled with grace and compassion not just with the residents, but with the residents entire family. We couldnt have asked for more and will recommend this facility to anyone looking for a wonderful option for their loved one.
