They used to be absolutely horrible, but now they have made HUGE improvements. I absolutely adore everyone of them there now. I went through a miscarriage and they went out of their way and made a point to call me once a week and check on me and make sure that I’m doing okay mentally and physically. They truly cared about me. I actually enjoy coming now. They have all been so kind, caring, and patient with me. It is absolutely wonderful. They all know me by name and make me feel so welcome. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care I have received there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone now that they have made these improvements. ❤️

I would suggest finding an alternative provider. Had severe Adverse event reactions from the meds and the doc just said that it doesnt do that, then told me to take more, repeatedly. Also, most of the staff are in recovery - well, allegedly. I personally had a counselor there try to score Xanax from me, and knew him to sell his meds on the street.

I am shocked there are so many bad reviews here. I really wish this feedback would give the option to ask questions because the ones here that have left extremely bad reviews I really feel like misunderstood the staffs emotions (maybe one wasnt smiling so someone thought they had attitude) I am just very speechless on those. I have been to Ruth clinic twice now. The first time I didnt have very reliable transportation so I often missed appointments and not very reliable internet so I often missed group. EVEN STILL, no one was ever mean or even had attitude but I will say they are firm in you meeting your program requirements BECAUSE they CARE and WANT to see you succeed with it. They wont hold your hand and smile, they will hold you accountable. People also forget sometimes I think that they work very hard but sometimes theres issues with insurance with all sorts of things that are out of their control and they work with you to fix it as best they can. There is also laws and policys that have to be followed for their sake as well as the patients. This second time I returned, I havent missed an appointment or group and they make sure to tell me Everytime how well Im doing vs when I missed appointments honestly they still never were mean, ANY of them. I thought there was one at first that just wasnt very happy, but I learned she just had a bad day and now shes the funniest one there!!! Yall gotta remember these people are humans too. If for some reason they made a mistake, then it happens and Ive seen the extent they go to to fix it. They go above and beyond. I personally witnessed this at my visit yesterday for a male client. But if anyone reads this that has read all the others. I have personally been to both harpeth and Ruth and I can tell you Ruth 100%! They are going to care for you if you allow them to the best possible ability. Every single person there from front office staff to doctor to group therapist. I have to bring my daughter when I go and Ive only been three times but every person took the initiative to ask her name and tells her hi when they see her. As long as your serious about recovery they are the people to be with and the place to be with for sure. If you arent serious about your recovery, then they may try to help you get serious and THATS when they usually upset people it seems. But yall gotta understand thats their job but they do it cause they care not cause their a malicious, money hungry place. I highly recommend you giving them a try rather than listening to all these bad reviewers, it wont be something you regret I promise.

This place ordered transportation service for one of their discharged patients. Three months goes by and they disputed the charge. They said they were not aware of the charge. My dad provided the bank of which was disputing the charge all documents related to the trip and they basically stole back money. This place is disgusting and full of criminals who belong in jail: my dad drove client to Nashville from the Ruth Clinic and they basically stole the money back. That means even the local bank that Ruth Clinic is a client of is a disgusting bank white collared crime center. I would stay clear of all services in Columbia Tennessee because it’s filled with criminals.

We at Ruth clinic go above and beyond for our patients, it’s disappointing to see bad reviews by a clinic that was recently shut down indefinitely. We pray that any patients looking to seek real recovery looks over disheartening reviews with malicious intent.

My nephew and I were highly distraught upon leaving the care of awful treatment center. Myself, Id steer clear of this treatment centers hot mess.

My son feels let down by this place and he highly recommends that you find another treatments facility. This place is horrible and treats people badly.

My review of Ruth Clinic in Columbia, TN is absolutely based 100% of personal experience directly. I am not only speaking from my personal experience, but also a lot of individuals that are/were a part of the Ruth Clinic, but have made the decision to steer away from poor treatment, counselors that care nothing for you or your loved ones, believe there’s no hope for MAT. My choice, along with multiple other recovering addicts allow Harpeth Recovery to be apart of their recovery! I am recommending Harpeth B/C it’s changed my life and the life of multiple individuals I care very much about, and have had open doors for each person & their recovery, and everyone as a person, along with their recovery are valued, loved whole-heartedly, and cared for 100%!!

This is the last message I sent to one of the secretaries at Ruth before I left for good.For months I had been trying to get the shot. And for months I was lied to told that my shot was being shipped but I was continuously left with excuse after excuse until I finally had enough and changed clinics.Just wanna let you know we are done with Ruth Clinic, Dr.Liz and anyone associated with ruth..I FINALLY have gotten some answers about why I havent gotten my shot. Of course the truth didnt come from anyone that works at Ruth. I also wanted to say thanks for misleading me for four long months with lies and excuses. This whole time you guys, mainly you, have been lying to my face about my shot. Not sure what you or Dr. Liz achieved by keeping me there. But its very clear to me now that I made a mistake and it was NEVER your intention to get me that shot. I couldnt be more upset with myself for putting my trust in you and ruth clinic and being so gullible and wasting so much time on this BS. I really did think you cared and were trying but I couldnt have been more wrong. Not only you but every one else that looked me in my face and put on a show like they had no clue why the shot wasnt getting there. I should have trusted my gut that something wasnt right..such as how you just so happened to be on the phone with them when Id ask for an update..orhow YOU would get an attitude with ME when I expressed frustration 🤣.Thats okay. Im with people who care about me now. A place with an actual group and one on one therapy and a doctor who is invested in my sobriety. Ive gotten farther with this person in 1 week than I have in four months with you and Ruth Clinic and I couldnt be more relieved to know I never have to step foot there again. Not sure what you guys are getting out of leading people on ( Im sure Im not the only one) but whether its money or something else, you should be ashamed. This is not a place that welcomes and helps addicts anymore. Its just an unorganized business filled with angry and sad people making money off of angry, sad, addicts. Good luck with your future endeavors. For your souls sake, I hope you take something from this and spare everyone else the BS yall have given me.Update:its been less than 1 month since Ive left and went to harpeth. I just recieved my first injection today and I couldnt be happier. Im not sure why mandey and dr. Null gave me the run around and Ill probably never really know. But what I do know is I never failed 1 drug test. I never missed an appointment. I didnt do anything but stay loyal to dr.null and I never deserved to be treated this way. Four months FOUR. possibly longer. And never made a single inch of progress. My experience at ruth was aweful. So glad Ive rid myself of this place. Now I can move on with the next step in my recovery process. If anyone out there is having a bad experience like me, dont be afraid to go somewhere else. As addicts, we need stability, organization, and respect for our privacy and dignity. And everyone deserves that chance but for me, ruth clinic was not the place.
