I took my young daughter here roughly a month ago for an asthma flare up. They stated she had hypoxia, acute asthma and acute bronchitis. They did not feel they had the means to treat her and referred us to childrens hospital. Before we left they did a covid swab on her and told us it would be about 48 hours. I called back 4 days later to see if they had the results in and was told they had no record of her even being seen, but after some digging they were able to find that visit but no covid test. They said they would have someone call me back. Another week went by with no call so I called again and they again couldnt find the record initially of our visit and then said they had no record of a covid test ever being done. I called a third time with the same response each time with them telling me they will have the manager call me. It is now October 5th, I have yet for anyone to call me back and they still claim they have no record of her covid test. As a parent if youve had to get that swab stuck up your childs nose Im sure you understand not wanting to have to put them through that again because the medical facility lost it.....Not only did they lose it but they refuse to take ownership and give the courtesy of a call back. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Today was the first time Ive visited Optum Urgent Care. The staff at the front counter was very friendly and professional. They got me squared away with my paperwork pretty quickly. I had to wait about 20 mins to be seen by Ms. Cynthia Jordan. She quickly diagnosed my condition and was very patient in answering all of my questions. She had great bedside manner and genuinely seemed to care. Thank you for the great service!

This place has THE LONGEST WAIT TIME of any urgent care facility I have ever encountered!! I mean....hours upon hours!! You can check in online ahead of time but it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for you. I took my 79 year old friend here on Saturday. Four and a half hours we were there. The doctor finally came in for about 5 minutes and said he would call in the prescription to Walgreens about a mile away. Long story short...its now Thursday and Walgreens still has not received any prescription for pain for my friend! Called Optum back, they have no record of any prescription being written. My advice--go somewhere else to receive care.

The experience I had with this Urgent Care was fantastic. Dr. Baptist was compassionate, knowledgeable, and very professional. Nurse Shelly went the extra mile by printing off educational material for my son. The x-ray that was needed was conveniently located right down the hall. Dr. Baptist reviewed the results with us before we left - all in a timely fashion. We were well taken care of and I highly recommend the staff and facility of Optum Urgent Care!

This is an extremely poorly run urgent care. My son suffering from mono went for bloodwork and to be checked out by a provider (rather than nurse at the college). He waited outside in cold for over an hour and it was not until he went to tell them he was freezing so leaving that they “suddenly” had room for him. It was not busy and in fact no one was around. It was obvious he had been forgotten. He had blood drawn then sat in a room again for 30 minutes being told to wait there- no one came. We told him to go out and walk around to find someone. He did but then “checked out” with no discharge sheet, contact info or plan. A complete waste of money and time. He then called to ask for labs and requested to mail them home to his parents (both physicians)- he never received a follow up call regarding his labs nor did we receive any copy. I have repeatedly called and left messages to talk with the clinic administrator and have not received any attempts at contact. He was seen in Sept. I will inform ColoradoCollege to stop sending their students there. Those receiving healthcare deserve much better.

I recently got new health insurance and this was the only place I could find with more than 2 stars for reviews. I am SO HAPPY that I came to this place. I am beyond happy with the service I got at this location. The MA that saw me was friendly and she was cracking jokes and made me feel like I could talk about all of my problems. My NP had a student intern and both of them were fabulous. The student did most of my appointment (which I agreed to) and he listened intently and he even discussed some goals for my health that he thought would help me to be even healthier than I already am. The NP did come in to meet me and she was very pleasant and just a comforting presence. I absolutely recommend this place, excellent staff here!

Dr.Baptiste was very unprofessional and condescending. She checked my leg reflexes for back pain. She never even touched my back and area were the pain was. She talked about a steroid pill or injection, and toradol. I asked her a few questions about my reaction to anti-inflammatories and I decided to get the toradol and the steroid injection. She told me I’d be getting an x-ray also with the injections and left the room. Almost an hour and a half went by and she came back in the room. She then told me the X-ray showed nothing wrong then asked me what I expected out of the visit. Like I had arterial motive. I answered I liked to know why my back and leg hurt, she stated if I needed further testing I should have went to the ER. She also stated I told her I didn’t want the toradol and that she ordered the steroid after she left the room. Then she didn’t show back up for almost 1 1/2 hours. I walked out of the room several times to check why I was waiting so long, but there was no one there that helped me. Her bedside manor was awful and she was very accusatory. I was so upset I walked out without getting the injection even though I was in severe pain. I’m sad I had to even give her a one star. How very uncaring, save your time and money.

After getting the run around this morning and speaking with three different individuals, I was set up for a telehealth appointment with Dr. Baptist who instructed me that I indeed did not need a virtual visit and needed to go to the front desk to be checked in for an in office visit. I explained the situation to the two people working the Optum drive thru (front doors) and again was instructed to proceed to the front desk. I was speaking with a female receptionist at the check-in desk regarding the instructions I was given by Dr. Baptist when a male receptionist (Joey who was on the phone with another patient) stood up and began screaming at me that I could not be in the building and that I needed to get out. He made a huge scene in front of all the other patients in the waiting room and the patient on the phone who was hearing all of this. I could not get more than a few words in or explain the instructions I was given without him repeatedly yelling over me. I work in the medical field and am fully aware of the stresses each day brings, however it is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to yell at a patient, intrude in a conversation he was not apart of, and to involve the entire waiting room in something that did not concern them. I am extremely dissatisfied and hope he is reprimanded and or fired for his actions. No patient should be treated the way I was, completely unacceptable.

Came here tonight for being lightheaded. My copay was collected and I sat for about 10 minutes, then an MA then came out to the lobby and told me the providers thought I should go to the ER. How could they determine that without even talking to me or seeing/taking my vitals/history? Do they know the difference between an ER and urgent care copay? And how it feels to be told in the lobby by a medical assistant that they can’t help me? Let’s just have the lightheaded person we can’t help drive themselves to the ER. What if I really did need to go to the ER and they sent me on my way without even checking my vitals to make sure I was stable enough to do so. Just felt- icky and like they really don’t care. No compassion at all. Do yourselves and favor and don’t come here if you need actual help.

At 8:55am sharp, we checked in, waited another hour, and again were forced to endure an additional 2 hr wait after vitals. I genuinely went in because the bruising looked quite terrible to me and to my husband and I want to make sure Im not walking around on a fracture and making things worse. The pain is barely noticeable so I wasnt there for the pain and thats the truth yet I was treated as though I was an addict seeking pain medication even though I just needed to verify with a doctor that my foot indeed had no broken bones and I could walk on it without worry. The doctor wondered why I didnt take NSAIDS for it, and its because I didnt need it plus I limit caustic medications because they hurt my stomach. I shouldnt have told her this, she told me to take tylenol which is caustic too lol so I thought she was a bit silly. Worst neurology department I have ever seen! Inattentive and uncaring barely scratches the surface for these doctors... I had a Grand Mal seizure out of the blue on new years eve 2018 while soundly asleep in my bed after a small evening of celebration at home with my husband (i.e. we were not partying all night) and ended up in the ER at 3 am with no explanation for the seizure from the paramedics except the judgemental assumptions that were made in the moment that it had occurred due to the glass of champagne and the cannabis in my system (which was there because I live in constant pain because of my fibromyalgia and endometriosis and not because we were partying, thats a daily part of my life) so I left with a temporary prescription for a seizure medication and an unfortunate reference to this facility. On my first appointment I was scheduled with a PA named Beverly Baker-Newsholm and told the regular neurologist doesnt see new patients until they are established, and I thought that was fair as neurologists are frequently in high demand and very busy people as a result, so I accepted the appointment and soon met with Beverly. Though she was condescending and short with me during many of our conversations this is really not what moved me to write about my experience with this company. As a medical facility, patient care and support should really be the utmost priority for Davita Medical Group, and really with the exception of only a handful of people, I cant say that they have very many employees who have any interest in patient health care, whether that means actually doing the foot work to find out what is wrong with their patients, or going out of their way to make sure their parents are being taken care of completely, fully, and to the best of their ability! For example: While learning about my medical history, Beverly learned that I had a childhood history of absentee seizures, and despite the fact that part of my medical history included that I have been free of those absentee seizures since high school and have had multiple EEGs and MRIs returning results within normal ranges since then (including the ones she ordered after the seizure I had this year; which both came back showing normal ranges), she latched onto that and decided the seizure I had on new years was an evolution of the seizures I had as a child and just decided that was a sufficient explanation.Several months later I went in to see her after having had a migraine, with pain so bad I was missing work due to not being able to drive from vision changes due to pain from the migraine, and Im sitting in the office there with her trying to get across to her what Im going through and shes literally throwing her head back and rolling her eyes as Im crying in front of her trying to figure out how to make her understand what I am feeling because the seizure medication I am taking makes it difficult for me to remember words, and causes memory problems at high doses, so then I get even more upset and she asks me if I have any upcoming appointments with my therapist because she thinks that I need to get back on my antidepressants...! Then at the end of the appointment she decided that it was my fault that I was having a week long migraine for taking over the counter pain medications and she instructed me to completely stop taking over the counter pain medications and upped my seizure medication dose by 100mg a day.So Ive been a patient at this facility for almost a year now and I have still never seen the actual neurologist. I have my next appointment with him after the beginning of 2019, but after all of everything that has happened since I have first started going there, I am just so burnt out on doctors who are just in it for the money and dont actually care anything about their patients.

Worst medical experience of my life. Dr Batist didnt really want to deal with me as I heard her comment to a co-worker that she wouldnt see patients after 3 although I was there by 2. Needed an abcess drained and she couldnt or wouldnt do it. Told me to come back today to see an ENT doc and she assured me they would be in today and a nurse confirmed that with me and said they leave at 5 so make sure I come in b4 then. I got here today and am told they never have ENT docs at urgent care. Great, now what am I supposed to do??? Was asked today if I scheduled this appt today and I was told yesterday they dont schedule appts. Never use this location. They have no clue what they are doing. I will notify Medicare and my supplemental plan to never include this as a referral location. Really upsets me.

Office manager Karen, Dr khan, the ma Christine, and Leslie are without integrity, and have no interest in caring for patients. After seeing the doctor and being told I was supposed to have surgery, I waited 2 months for a call back. This included me calling for a week straight with no being able to tell me anything. Finally when they did call me back they had run the authorization through the wrong insurance but wanted to schedule me for surgery. I had started a new job and didn’t feel it was appropriate to ask for time off and the doctors office had taken so long I didn’t have insurance since I was transitioning to a new job. I scheduled for surgery for after I would have insurance again. As soon as I got insurance I called to update it. I had 2 months before surgery but I wanted to be able to submit for time off. They ran through the wrong insurance again. But didn’t tell me this till I called back a week later. When I got the denial from my insurance for insufficient documentation, I called asked them to submit it to the research study which they said they would do. I called a week later to find out they were starting on it now since they just gotten the letter in the mail after I had offered to fax them a copy of mine. Then I find out there was no research study and I’m out of luck. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I went in because I had SEVERE back pain. The dr stepped in the room for 3 minutes and seemed very annoyed. With the quickest exam he said I sprained my back. Today I went to the hospital with the same pain and worse symptoms and turns out that I had a cyst with multiple puss pockets. If the Dr at Urgent Care wouldve just been patient and examed me throughly, he couldve stopped the pain and gave me the correct diagnosis. I will never go back.

This center is unorganized, unprofessional and uncaring. I spent over 6 hours here. We were treated like a number not a patient. Prescriptions were not called in and the communication between service providers was horrible. I will not be bringing my family to this center ever again.

They do their lab work through LabCorp, who have actually been sued for overcharging patients. Really wish that the cost would have been disclosed to me prior to preforming a $700 test when I am a student and make less than 13k a year.

Been bounced around to 6 different departments and spent 45+ minutes trying to make an appointment. Youd think something this big would have a better scheduling process.

This is not an urgent care that you can just walk into urgently. Apparently you have to already be a patient within their system of doctors. I think this defeats the definition of urgent and care.
