This place is absolutely amazing, I find it great that Im able to have a great night sleep knowing that my mother is being well taken care of, that she is not going to bed hungry or sad. I highly recommend this center for your loved ones. The staff at terrace garden is wonderful, thank you for all your love n generosity in all that you do❤

I had the opportunity to work with these very talented and knowledgeable staff members for many years of my career! The care they execute on a daily basis for each resident always exceeds expectations! The outstanding clinical capabilities and satisfaction rates are remarkable. I always tell families and patients to meet with the staff, talk to the residents that reside there, tour when able in person or virtually, and that will help with placing a loved one there and making that transition so much easier. 👏👏👏Call them to schedule your tour or talk directly to their admissions department for more information.

Poor communication, my MIL is currently there and we cant ever get ahold of anyone. When she was in isolation she didnt have a phone, and wed be put on hold for over 20 min. It seems like they are short staffed, and we hope she is getting the care she needs but we never know whats going on and its concerning for our family. Any time we show up to drop stuff off no one is available to help us. Weve heard the staff raise their voices at her a couple of times on the phone and its concerning. I hope they can improve or we will have to move her.

Witnessed a Terrace Gardens employee nearly hit a pedestrian on Academy Blvd before speeding away. This mas was a foot away from being hit and the driver refused to stop, apologize to the pedestrian or acknowledge the situation. She then went to park at Terrace Gardens where she clearly was employed. Although Ive tried multiple times in person and over the phone to share the dashcam footage through email, Terrace Gardens refuses to take action or contact me whatsoever. I will be posting footage on my own accord.Who in the world would take a grandparent or loved one for care in a facility that hires employees with no concern for human life or respect for others? Ive worked at Terrace Gardens for about 3 years. The Residents are wonderfully cared for by all of the staff there, from Nursing to Dietary to Housekeeping. It is clean, it smells nice and the atmosphere is consistently friendly. I would bring my family here. Administrator handles business like the best of them. Highly recommended for your loved ones!

The staff is amazing at Terrace Gardens, in particular Veronica ruby Evans. She always gives 150% to making sure all the bridges are gapped and the residents are being cared for. I have seen her through all of her positions at this facility and her work ethic is unmatched. Terrace Gardens is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. She really is a blessing!!!!

Terrace gardens is a wonderful facility. I work with a wonderful group of people. All departments are knowledgeable and are always willing to work together. The office staff are great and have an open door policy. Never have I felt as though someone could not be approached with any question or request for help. Therapy are terrific and work consistently with staff and residents alike. The aids are always on target with assisting all persons in the home, residents and employees. Environmental services are top notch, wow this place is clean, laundry is prompt, and the building well maintained.Love my work family,Thank you

My dad had a great experience with the team here. For a person who is usually never short on negative comments he was very pleased with the attention he received. His physical and occupational therapist went above and beyond. They addressed his main issues as well as any additional issues he brought up during therapy. They made sure he was well equipped to go home and would receive the care he needed once released. I havent seen him so pleased with a facility before.

I recently had they opportunity to see the facility’s many cogs in action. A gentleman with pain issues, poor appetite and chronic fatigue was admitted to this facility. Within a short time, the medication management, pain management, stimulation and care resulted in him being up in his wheelchair, eating breakfast and making witty remarks. It was an unexpected surprise to see him that animated and rested. Each of the staff members I talked to were familiar with him and could give me some insight to his condition. No one said “this is not my patient”.

A lovely facility—very clean and bright. The staff is warm and welcoming. They genuinely care about the residents and their families.

I was sent to Terrace Gardens by Grandview Hospital three weeks ago for a 30-day respite stay. I was, for all practical purposes, bedridden. However, thanks to the very focused health care professionals who work here, I am up and about and semi-ambulatory.The standard of care at this facility is very well balanced. Nursing care, weekly visits by the staff doctor, nutritional planning and diet, rehab classes, housekeeping services and daily social activities all contribute to successful recuperation and favorable outcomes.I am so impressed with my progress that I have elected to complete my full 9 to 12 physical therapy program as a full time resident here. I am confident that the continuing care I receive will lead to my full recovery and prepare me to resume a fully independent life and lifestyle.Mr. Terry Lamantia, Facility Administrator, is to be commended for assembling a very fine group of professional and service staff whose well directed and focused efforts work together seamlessly to deliver a health care environment well suited to attaining successful outcomes. The fact that all of the staff genuinely respect and enjoy each others company is a bonus which does not go unnoticed by the residents.I recommend Terrace Gardens to family members and health care providers who seek a well managed care environment for their patients and loved ones.Wayne Bannon

Just not a place I would send a loved one. Dirty ~ seems like you are bothering them whenever you ask a question. Not attentive, needs caring skilled staff. Felt horrible after visiting my friend there.

This place is a death trap. My brother had a stroke and was sent there.in the beinging everything was great cnas seems to care.After a year it started getting worse. One Dec. 10th we and had a meeting at the nursing homeAs I walk in my brother was sitting in the front sloppy wet hanging out his wheelchair and to my disbelief that administrator Terry was standing there talking to someone.im guessing he didnt notice the pain or the piss. Oh until me and his wife said something which lead me to believe hes not being probably care when Im not around. Went in the meeting the director of nursing the administration told us everything we wanted to hear. Which to me was lies in side Im thinking shut up liars. So on Friday Dec. 14 I was going to work I just felt something was wrong I went there Kevin was in bed he looked at me and said I hurt so bad. I ask the nurse what is the problem they it was one little sore and it was under control. Turn my brother over right now let me see this look sore thats got him like this.What I witnessed was terrible and disappointedIt broke my heart I let my brother down took him to hospital uti hes had for 3 months stage 4 bed sores.these people let me down and to my brother Im going to handle this If your family is there remove them now they are dying under the care of these incompetent people.To Mr. Terry Im ruff on your cnas I dont think its telling your workers to do their job but what can I expect when the administration is worthless.I will not give up this is far from over.Kevin Im so so sorry I love you .Thank you God for guiding me to my brother thatMorning. IT WONT LET ME RATE 0 STARS BUT THATS WHAT I WOULD GIVE THEM...If you LOVE your family member....DO NOT LEAVE THEM HERE!My sister took a fall in her room. She was found sometime early morning of January 19, 2018. Her head had hit the ground so hard it sloshed her brain to one side of her head. When she was found on the floor ( God only knows how long she had laid there) she was carried to the hospital. She underwent emergency brain surgery... wound up being unplugged from lifesubefore pport the next day because she had NO BRAIN ACTIVITY..... PLEASE EXPLAIN how someone can hit their head so hard that their brain sloshes to one side. Pretty hard hit I would say.Hmm. Someone got fired a couple days before due to a complaint from my sister.DOES THIS SOUND FISHY TO YOU ??????IT DOES TO ME!!!!!!!!Please keep your loved ones out of here!

Worst place Ive ever been in, always short on staff, they accept anything that walks in, they dont have a secured dementia unit, all wander guard does is prevents them from going out side, it does nothing about inside, I was chased behind the counter by a dementia patient, sexually assaulted by another, constantly having to run them out of the room,turn over rate is very high, often 1 nurse will have to run 3 carts at once ( gee what could possibly go wrong there)..They turn the juice machine off, dont keep coffee around, meal portions are small, they only have 3 showers,a tub thats been broken for years in springs canyon hall, the house Dr is a joke, he doesnt return nurses calls, nurses letting our meds run out, under medicating, racism,house keeping is terrible, laundry constantly losing our clothes, personal blankets even though our names are clearly written on them, they have actually put mens underwear in my drawer, Darnell in social services accused me of sleeping with other men not once but twice Infront of my husband, people in positions they shouldnt even be in like cnas running admissions, social services, gross neglence, incompetence, not getting things done that we need, people going for a week with no showers, violated hippa laws, they are currently being investigated by the state, they found 45 VIOLATIONS when the state average is only 3-4 per year, dropping meds on the floors and expecting us to take them, patients having to SCREAM for help, leaving patients on the floors, they dont change mop water so they end up spreading urine and feces from room to room, showers not cleaned out thoroughly after each person, feces, urine, blood on the shower chairs and floors...I could be here all night listing problems, staff making fun of people with health issues, firing the good people, keeping the people we were constantly complaining about, never have enough blankets, sheets that do not fit the beds.if you love your family member, do not send them there.

Terrible! If you truly cherish your family member, dont leave them here. Take them someplace else where they will be truly cared for.

THe staff is aweful. THey treated my patient( my mother) like a dog at a boarding kennel, maybe worse; the vet and her assistants do not insult the animals. The lady at the front desk is the worse. She is not thrifty with her insults. do not let angry people hurt your loved one!
