Dr. Balota is wonderful. We moved to the Springs last year and needed a dentist. We were referred to her by my brother and along with her staff have gone above and beyond in taking care of us. We could not recommend Balota Family Dentistry any higher.

Behind the rather unassuming name family dentistry is a powerhouse of knowledge. Dr. Balota is one of the few OBI-certified specialists for TMJ-related disorders. She has validated expertise in functional rehabilitation of the jaws so they can function without interferences, which can cause muscle pain and headaches amongst other symptoms. Not everyone needs such treatment, but when you do its good to know that there is someone close by who can help!

Dr. Balota is fantastic. I started seeing her a few months back and have had cleanings, a cavity fixed, and a crown placed. She and her staff are so friendly and nice. She also does amazing dental work and explains things really well. Today I had to bring my infant son with me to my appointment and was nervous the office would be upset. Instead on arrival Dr. Balota went right over to him and played with him, carried the car seat into the exam area, and the staff kept him entertained during the whole visit. She said, ”We are all moms and have to support each other”. I just love everything about Dr. Balota and her office. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Balota Family Dental is by far the best dental office I’ve ever been to. I deal with high anxiety issues that definitely surround going to the dentist and they calmed me down in the most light hearted and warmest way possible; when I began to cry because I found out I needed braces, Dr.Nora wiped away my tears with her own hands and hugged me and told me it would all be ok and even gave me a recommendation to someone she trusts. During my actual cleaning the hygienist was super gentle and did a fabulous job! They both tucked me into the chair with a big, soft blanket and made me very comfortable. Also, it is very common to hear Dr.Nora singing in the building; she is also fantastically funny. Overall, this dental practice has helped me calm down and actually want to take better care of my teeth now that I know I have some place I don’t have to be scared of.

She brings the latest dental techniques and patient care concerns to her practice and her staff are also very skilled in the procedures they perform. Love the experience, the hygienist was amazing and very thorough. I was greeted as I entered the office. I was seen on time, and was even kept warm by a soft blanket Loire, the hygienist offered. Dr Balota was excellent. She took the time to listen and did a very thorough eval of my mouth. So much so that I found out shedding of the lining of the mucosa is a possible allergic reaction to my toothpaste. I was a dental assistant for 10 years and never saw this as a problem. Great information yesterday. Overall excellent experience. I didn’t feel rushed, Mesa Ridge Dental, my previous clinic, was good but the assistants, hygienist and providers, work so fast that you didn’t feel heard. I am so glad we switched. I had to have my first crown at age 50 and I was TERRIFIED. Dr. Balota did a really nice job. Shes very patient with terror. I didnt realize it until later, but she did a good job technically as well. The crown looks natural and it doesnt have any weird ridges or holes that would drive me crazy. I recommend her to all my friends.

Not only is she a lovely and beautiful person, but she exudes a love and dedication for her profession beyond measure. After being in pain for over a month, and making 4 trips to another dentist who could find no solution, I was referred to her. She was truly my saving grace. Not only was she able to correctly diagnosis the problem quickly and effectively, but she treated me with such concern and kindness. Great dentist and Dr Balota is very specific informing patient of dental issues. And she shows your xray results on state of the art computer software close up on the screen. Office staff and teeth cleaning assistance are wonderful too.

Her staff shares the same commitment, and they make you feel very at ease and welcome. On a practical level, the rates are very fair.I have fibromyalgia, so Dr Balota and her assistants have gone above and beyond to help ensure I am as comfortable as possible whenever I am receiving care: They offer me a pillow, a heavy blanket and schedule fillings within time windows that my body can handle. Dr. Balota has also personally called me after dental work to see how my body was coping and if there was anything she could do to help in regards to pain management.Dr. Balota will ensure her patients are aware of all the work they need done to have a healthy mouth, but she is not pushy in the least about accomplishing it all and will work with her patients according to what they agree is of greatest priority. I have never felt that she has any agenda other than to help!Dr. Balota has also outfitted me with a nightguard to help relieve the headaches I get from grinding my teeth at night. She has been so committed to getting me an excellent fit, that she reordered a second one at her own expense when the first one came back from the lab needing adjustment.You will not find a more honest and kind dentist in town! She is VERY SKILLED, committed to ever-increasing proficiency through further education and works in partnership with a team of excellent specialists when she needs to refer out for specialized services.I have suffered (financially and physically) from dental malpractice in the past, so it is a great relief to go to someone who knows what they are doing and who is so committed to excellence!

Dr. Balota is super! She and her staff take plenty of time with patients. She makes sure I understand everything she is doing and gives options for treatment. She referred me to an oral surgeon and then followed up the next day to be sure I was able to get in right away. Impressive!

As someone petrified of the dentist, I was immediately put at ease. Not only are each of the dental assistants very knowledgeable, and very good at their jobs, Dr. Balota herself took the time to do a full assessment during my first appointment. My last dentist took all of eight minutes to look at my x-rays to assign work and practically ran to his next appointment. Dr. Balota took the time, explained each issue and why it had to be done. It was very clear that she knew what she was doing and actually enjoyed her work. For a $99 first patient appointment, I was wary before walking in. But this turned out to be the 1 in 100 times where it was inexpensive but the best quality in care Ive had in years. Its a drive to get to Springs from where I live, but its worth it.

Absolutely amazing experience.Dr. Balota and her staff are very friendly, extremely skilled, and go above and beyond to get the job done.After two years of life and not making time to see a dentist I ended up with a dozen cavities. I would be away for two months soon after the cleaning. We had four 2-3 hour sessions of fillings in 2 weeks. The attention to detail in drilling, cleaning, and shaping the fillings is far and away better than any other dentist Ive seen in the past.I cant recommended Dr. Balota enough!

Dr. Camerino is the Best Dentist in Colorado Springs. Of course she is knowledgeable and skilled, but Dentistry seems to be her natural God-Given Talent... My previous dentist, who is advertised on the local Christian Radio, every 30 minutes, was my previous dentist. I stuck with them, but they just could not perform successful procedures on me. The final card was going in for a simple tooth that lost its filling, and my previous dentist took three 3x - 1-2hour attempts to get it right, but never got it right, and my tooth was so very sensitive, and they told me I needed to do a root canal. I went to Dr. Camerino, and she looked at my tooth and in less than a second, she said, This is done wrong. Without hesitation, and 20 minutes of her work, I was back to normal... I take my family there, with four children, and will go no where else... My elderly parents, brother and family and friends also go to her with the same feedback... She is the best dentist I have ever experienced, and hands-down the best dentist in Colorado Springs.
