You wont remember me, but you did extensive dental work for me back in 2002-2003. To this day every time I go to a dentist he/she comments on the wonderful work you did. So often good work is cast off as something expected but not with me. Whenever I brush my teeth I think of you and thank you Dr. Sommer. Ive had a lot of work done on my mouth with orthodontists and dentists. He is the best of the best. Now that Ive moved out of state, I gladly drive 3 hours just to keep him as my dentist.With periodontal disease, I have seen substantial improvement because he has treated me with a bacterial reduction Lazer. Treatment is painless and Dr. SOMMER is the only one I have been able to find who utilizes this state of the art technology.

I was referred to Dr. Sommers office through my brother. After failed dental work from previous dental offices I had gave up on having procedures performed on my teeth and gums. After years I eventually grew infections and abscesss, this gave me no option but to try again. I put my trust into Dr. Sommers and his staff and was not disappointed. I proudly say this is my home Dental office.

Both my husband and I are so relieved we found a dentist that is so professional and listen to us. We have been 4 years with Dr. Sommer and the only thing we regret is we didn’t find him earlier.Staff are very friendly and always smiling when we come in and listen to us when we ask them about availability for next appointments.

If you’re thinking about going somewhere else, don’t! Dr Sommer takes great care of his patients and is very kind in doing so. He knows I’m terrified of needles and is very gentle when numbing me up. He lets me listen to music to drown out the sound of the drill. This is the best dentist in all of Colorado Springs!

I have PTSD surrounding some medical experiences so I was very nervous to go to a dentist again. I’ve been to this office 3 times now and can honestly say they are doing things right. ALL the staff I’ve met are incredibly nice, understanding, patient, compassionate, etc. Dr Sommer took the time to discuss different options with me and answer all my questions without making me feel less than. He is willing to try holistic approaches that are less invasive too. The hygienists are gentle and really listen to your concerns. Last time I was second guessing getting my fillings and one of them told me to listen to my body and if I wasn’t ready then we should wait. I’ve never had a medical professional tell me to listen to my body! I felt very validated and understood. My husband also has gone here and they were able to avoid doing a root canal! We are very happy with this practice and think we will fly out to see them when we eventually move away. I never write reviews but felt so comfortable at this dentist office that I want others to know it’s a safe place with honest, caring people.

Dr. Sommer was the first dentist I felt comfortable enough to finally fill my first cavity after saying no to a lot of other dentists for over a decade. I brought my 3 year old daughter to Dr. Sommer after a pediatric dentist suggested I hospitalize her to give her a mouth full of metal fillings and crowns on her front baby teeth! My daughter is now 6 and just had a great first experience getting some cavities filled by Dr. Sommer (without the need of anesthesia or a hospital). Everyones situation is different, but in the end, I trust Dr. Sommers advice and have had a wonderful experience at his office and with his staff.

I am very pleased about my first visit. Dr. Sommer did great work and is the friendliest dentist Ive ever met. I also think he is the best dentist. Also the other staff was very friendly, and there is a lot of laughter in their office as well. That shows me they all enjoy working there. And they made over 20 xrays and pictures of my teeth to make sure to do the best job they can. Compared to my local dentist they work with much better equipment. The best dentist I have ever seen. He listens to your concerns without dismissing you. He is gentle but also uses humor, which tells me that he really cares about what he does. Its a shame that the majority of your time spent in their office is with your mouth gaping open because they are the kind of people you just want to sit and chat with.

I had a really bad tooth infection. I called and got an appointment, right away. I needed to have three teeth extracted and some fillings done. I was very nervous but everyone from the front office to Adriana to Dr.Sommers made me feel at ease.I absolutely love this dental office everyone was great, professional, and courteous. The front office explained billing, payments, and helped with my insurance. Adriana explained everything that was going to be done and was very caring. Dr. Sommers constantly asked if I was comfortable and explained every step he was doing. He also made sure I didn’t feel any pain. I also appreciated the follow up phone call from Dr. Sommers, just shows how much he cares about his patients.I highly recommend this office to everyone. Great experience!!!

This was my first visit for a cleaning and exam. I have no complaints about the service BUT the billing has been a nightmare! I prepared the new patient paperwork online prior to my appointment and provided my dental insurance card and ID information for verification upon arrival. When I left their office I was told all paperwork would be submitted to my insurance company. I received a statement from their office a month later indicating the full amount for the dental service. I contacted my insurance company and was told the claim had not been received. I followed up with the dentist office and they stated they would submit it again. It has been over a year now and still no submission has been received. I even asked for a copy of the dental explanation form to submit separately and received nothing. I sent letters with copies of my insurance card and ID for verification. I even called their office on several occasions. I continue to get statements for the full amount due. Now a year later, I receive an email stating I have an appointment for another dental exam. It did NOT give me an option to confirm so I called their office to confirm I was NOT coming to the appointment. When I called I was greeted to a phone recording with no option to leave a message so I went to their website contact page and sent a message. No further communication was received. Just recently I received another statement and this time for the previous balance PLUS a $50 charge for a MISSED APPOINTMENT! How can you force a patient to accept a date without them confirming/accepting it first?!!! I have never had problems with a dental claim submission either direct from a dentist or myself! I am not against submitting payment for the unpaid balance that insurance does not cover but their dental claim still has not been received by insurance nor have they sent me a a copy to submit myself. Since then Ive submitted other dental claims to the same insurance company with no problem. I wont be going back to this office!

You can go to 1,000 dentists and youll never find one like Dr. Sommer. He is a true master of dentistry. He is extremely gentle, patient, and knowledgeable. He takes as much time as he needs to do the job correctly, and pays attention to the most minute details. When I visit his office, I feel like Im at a spa - Im always relaxed, the staff makes me feel comfortable, and I can fully trust them to do their jobs correctly and give me the information I need. They always take the time to explain what theyre doing, they will continually check on your comfort levels to make sure youre doing alright, and theyre happy to stop or give you extra numbing during a procedure should you need it.The other day I showed up to my appointment the day before it was actually scheduled. It takes me about 50 minutes round trip to get from work to their office and back, and since it was already 4pm, it was too late for me to go back to work, and I couldnt request to leave early 2 days in a row....so they took me in after hours. I was completely floored that they would do that when it was MY mistake. I have never in my life been treated with the level of customer care that they take in this office. I could not recommend them highly enough!

I went to another dentist group in the springs area and they gave me 5 fillings, one of which, on the day of my appointment decided oh this needs a root canal. They did not state this in the EXAM, and I was really upset. I had to go over 2 weeks, with a temp filling in a tooth that gave me so much pain I lived on aspirin.Thus began my search for a better dentist. I was already filled with anxiety, the previous dentist just ground out my mercury filling and it went literally everywhere on my mouth. It was horrible!!My experience with Craig has been nothing but amazing. I feel relaxed and comfortable when I come in, he SAVED my tooth that the previous place needed to do a root canal on. I have no pain, I have my real tooth with a partial crown, all the work thats been done by Craig and his team has been amazing. When he removed one of my other mercury fillings, he covered my mouth with this rubber isolating thing (lol I dont know what its called), that isolated the one tooth and protected my mouth. He put an oxygen mask on my nose to protect the air I breathe and had this machine that sucked the air near the extraction. I was impressed.Overall, he is patient, he listens to you, he doesnt make you feel like hes trying to rush you out the door to get to the next patient, he does ALL the work and makes sure its done perfectly. He constantly asks if youre comfortable, even if you say yes he will ask again just to be sure. He really cares and you can see that.I recently moved to Arizona, but Ive been going back to Colorado just so I can continue working with Craig, its going to suck when he retires because he truly is one of the best.

I would give zero stars if I could. HORRIBLE office. They are so shady. Please save yourself a headache and go to a different office. Their front desk is so incompetent and their office manager is rude. I was lied to about what I would pay, then when I told the office manager what the guy told me she said they would never say that and that they have this conversation 20 times a day.....if youre having that conversation with 20 different patients a day youre clearly in the wrong if that many people are coming to the same conclusion about information youre telling them. You cant speak to anyone but those two at the front either because the doctor doesnt like dealing with those sort of things. Maybe they should get some real training other than ordering food like they were the whole time I was in their for my appointment talking about all sorts of nonsense. So unprofessional.

Like you need me to tell you! The reviews speak for the themselves, but Ill add in as well. Went here to get a wisdom tooth extracted. It was pain free and they made sure to tell me what to do to keep myself as comfortable as possible as it healed. The staff is friendly and Craig himself is a nice guy and makes you feel completely comfortable! They are great to be around. Im now getting cavities filled and he is doing an awesome job. My teeth were in pretty bad shape and the ones he has already done look amazing. They use the tooth colored fillings instead of those awful silver ones so you wont have to worry about having a metal mouth. All in all an amazing dentist and I would recommend to anyone.
