I was battling headaches daily that woke me from sleep and made daily functioning impossible without Motrin. By my second visit I stopped Motrin completely and haven’t had a headache like that since. I’m so grateful to Balance for helping me get my life back with less pain. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Phenomenal staff, treatment plans WORK...only complaint is weird hours. I was able to switch work hours up to accommodate office availablity. My husband did not have the flexibility in work times so he was not able to become a client but that was the ONLY reason. Great, comfortable atmosphere and Drs + staff = highly recommended.

I used to get migraines for almost a week every month. I’d have to call off work, miss out on social events, and put my life on hold when I’d have one of my migraines. I would also get frequent headaches from neck issues, etc.. But I started going to Balance and haven’t had a migraine since nor any of my normal headaches!I feel better all around and love how quick it is to get adjusted! This is an extraordinary Chiropractic office! Very friendly, positive and informative practice that provided information via videos on what to expect before the 1st appointment. No one tried to pop my neck or back and then send me on my way before I left. Instead they took over one hour to obtain health history, take x-rays and measurements and then set up a time to go over the results after their team reviewed them. Looking forward to going back next week!!!!

I started my journey with Balance in end of Feb. I am amazed at the difference I have seen since being a patient. Dr. Max is so incredibly knowledgeable and kind, I look forward to going in. Corina always has a smile on, and is so kind. It is well worth the money.

I was very impressed with the doctors and staff at Balance Chiropractic from the first time I went into their office, and I highly recommend them. My husband and I both decided to receive treatment and weve been going about 6-8 weeks now. I am a retired massage therapist and had my own practice. Ive been to many chiropractors in different places, and I was looking for a different kind of chiropractic care this time. I needed treatment for my disabling back and fibromyalgia pain at a time when I was losing hope that I would recover. Part of what drew me in was their gentle approach without painful pops and cracks. I have a lot of sensitive areas in my back, so Ive had some painful adjustments in the past. I also really liked the specific tests that they did (initial and follow up) because I like to know whats going on with my body. Then theres the icing on the cake-- Dr. Max, Dr. Ernesto, Holly, and the rest of the staff have been very caring, kind, accepting and professional, unlike anything you see in a medical doctors office. I believe excellent patient care is of utmost importance in any healthcare profession. Its very refreshing and I appreciate it so much! I am just starting treatment after being a witness to the miraculous results my wife has seen. She has struggled for years with very painful hip issues; after years of normal chiropractic treatments with only temporary results. I had severe sciatic pain, after seeing a regular chiropractor, which helped, but nothing was fixing my back issues. My mother-in-law suggested Balance Chiropractic. After over a decade of adverse health issues including injury-induced paralysis, seizures, POTS, Dysautonomia, chronic back and neck pain, muscle spasms, IBS, and asthma- I have finally found something that works! I have been through spinal surgery, over a dozen different physical therapists, acupuncture, medication, spinal taps, and soooo many tests and nothing genuinely and continually helped my pain like Balance did. I cannot express how amazing it feels to lie in bed at night and not be in excruciating pain. My seizures have significantly decreased. I can move around without my back locking up on me. Most of all, though, I have been able to enjoy life a bit more. I honestly came into Balance as a last resort, but I wish that I would have tried this out sooner! My x-rays have drastically improved along with my pain. I truly cannot express how amazing I feel and I am only halfway through my treatment!

The doctors here have about cured my daughters nerve ailments she had since she was a baby. Numerologists at childrens hospital were constant dead ends! I am so thankful for the methods of treatment used by Balance Chiropractic. My daughter is finally able to enjoy being a kid!

I was rear ended in a car accident in 2015 and had been experiencing chronic, low-grade headaches since then. Physical therapy helped with my other symptoms but we could never figure out how to treat the headaches other than temporary relief. After 3-4 months with Balance Chiropractic I can finally say that I have had some long term relief and my headaches have gotten significantly better! Im now back to doing all of my recreational activities that I always felt limited with before. As someone who works in a similar healthcare field, I really appreciate the emphasis placed on educating their patients about their process and why their method works. All staff have been wonderful and are always professional and friendly. A fantastic experience!

I would highly recommend Balance to anyone! I was doing traditional chiropractic for years and for a time it was sufficient but I was only really managing my pain from week to week and slowly had to stop many of my activities that I enjoyed. I decided to try a new approach and I am so grateful that I have made that switch! I like the overall approach to health and wellness and have made great progress in a short period of time! In love with Balance Chiropractic! I’ve been with them for a year now and don’t plan on leaving! The staff is great but the healing is better! Came in with pain in the hips and started feeling the difference right away. I can’t imagine my life without adjustments anymore! :)

Dr. Max and his team are extremely patient and kind. They listen, discuss ideas with you, and ensure you understand your bodies alignment and what treatment might be able to do and what it would improve. The adjustment is painless and quick. Their office and adjustment area is spa like and extremely pleasant. No matter how my day has gone, I feel better once Im there! My health condition is improving with the help and guidance of this skilled medical team.

I had had what I thought was a minor accident, but after a couple months I suddenly had horrible bouts of vertigo and headaches that left me unable to function. My doctor told me about this place and I signed right up. They were amazing here. They immediately explained possible causes and explained what was going on with my body in ways that made it easy to understand. They went to work. What seemed like minor adjustments changed everything. Over time my headaches completely stopped and the vertigo improved. They even ended up fixing other things I didn’t know needed fixing. My posture improved from my desk work, and I felt less stiff after work. An old low back injury improved. And my hip doesn’t hurt as much when I run. They took such good care of me and were always readily available. They also were never over pushy. They just wanted me to improve even if I’m the long run they had to suggest a different specialist. Not many places are willing to do that. It meant the world to me since I have so many doctors and not all of them will do that. I have to do that myself. All in all an amazing place with amazing people. Two thumbs up.

Going to Balance Chiropractic is the best decision I have ever made. I have had increasing pain in my neck and back for over four years. I had trouble sleeping for more than a couple of hours at a time. I was starting to hunch forward. I have been in two major car accidents that have left me with a sprained neck and several concussions. I originally went to a chiropractor who just cracked my neck and the pain only temporarily went away. But after my second accident it came back and got worse. I have been going to Balance Chiropractic for almost 5 months now and I have never felt better. My neck has no pain and I feel better than I did even before I got in my car accidents. Traditional chiropractors who work on cracking the neck only helps temporarily but Balance chiropractic works to hold your adjustments so that in the long run pain doesnt return. The Dr.s at Balance Chiropractic gave my body the boost it needed to heal! At the time of my first visit, I was suffering from constant dizziness, headaches, fatigue as well another symptoms related to Menieres Disease. They ran all their scans and X-rays before my first adjustment and everything they showed me made complete sense in relation to how I was feeling. I had a pretty severe attack 4 months prior, that had left me with a brain fog that I could not shake.I felt drugged, or like my brain wasnt receiving sufficient blood supply, all the time. They explained that due to the level of rotation I had in my atlas area, my blood supply was indeed more than likely being interrupted. My headache was gone within a few hours of my first adjustment and my brain fog improved greatly over the course of a few days. I have going to balance every week for the last 4 months and I have significantly improved. I no longer have the constant dizziness and I am starting feel like Im able to resume normal activities. I wasnt even able to drive when I started treatments. Now, I have continued with all my other medical treatments while seeing them, but I did not see any great improvement until after I started going to Balance Chiropractic. I had been seeking medical help constantly for a year and a half prior to meeting them. For this reason alone I give them full credit in helping ready my body for the healing process. Both Drs are great at what they do and really take the time needed to not only heal you physically but with their positive attitudes really they help boost you mentally as well. For anyone who does not already know, there is no popping or cracking involved with this type of therapy. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis so my regular Drs tell me that traditional Chiropractic care is a no-no for me. I trust Dr. Pohl and Dr. Fernandez 100% and I am so grateful to have found them.

So glad I found an upper cervical doctors in this area. All chiropractors are not in the same realm. This one is top notch and one I would recommend. My 12 year old son had debilitating migraines from the age of 5 and 3 months of treatment completely took them away! They took such good care of him and helped him so much!

Genuine care for their patients! The results in my daughters well being are beginning to speak for themselves! She has had a number of ailments ever since early childhood such as left leg numbness and pain, right arm numbness and pain, headaches, neck pain, along with a few other symptoms. We have been back and forth with neurologists at Children’s Hospital, but all their tests come back as normal. These issues have kept her from enjoying what most kids take for granted. These issues gave her difficulty with having fun in gym class, going on hikes, riding her bike, and so on. Ever since she began treatments with Dr. Ernesto, she has gradually gotten better. We just recently went on a 4 miles bike ride, and she had no trouble! She no longer complains about her leg and ankle at all, her arm barely acts up, and everything else has subsided tremendously. I’ve been to several other chiropractors, and though they went over things, I don’t recall them being as detailed as the Balance doctors. The x-rays were not just of the spine, but a series of the head. I am seeing and feeling improvements. And no cracking!

Dr. Ernesto was very thorough in his assessment. He helped me to understand where my spine is currently at compared to what it should look like. When he mentioned to me how my spines misalignment could effect certain areas of my body. A light bulb seemed to go off that helped me to realize most of the nerve pain/loss of feeling in my arm, could be caused by my nerves and blood vessels being constricted by my spine being thrown out of alignment from previous sports injuries. I highly recommend the non traditional Chiropractic techniques used here at Balance Chiropractic in Colorado Springs to help correct foundational spine issues. Facility is very nice and they offer world class service!!

First of all, Balance provides a niche in healthcare that is not often found to correct underlying nerve and circulatory issues in the spine. The warmth of the service and personalization to the care is worth every trip and every correction. I am a patient at Balance, but I am also a physician who recommends this specific team of Max, Ernesto, Paige (and the whole staff) to MANY of my patients.

I don’t truly understand everything about how this works but I can definitely say it is effective. What I do understand is that our entire body works because of our nervous system so if it’s not working properly...neither will the rest of our bodily systems. Dr. Scott is outstanding! His work is completely amazing. My wife, after numerous years of standard chiropractors, acupuncture, physical therapy and more is now functioning without numerous migraines. At one point over the years her hands were constantly numb and that has even rescinded. Most reviews for companies say they would recommend, however, I have recommended Dr. Scott numerous times.I would be remiss if I didnt mention Leann! She is the most awesome! Shes filled with life and energy and makes for a fantastic experience when youre visiting the office.What a team!!

Dr. Max is amazing! In just a few short weeks after re-injuring my left shoulder, Dr Max helped me get back to doing what I love. In addition to the work done at the office visit, he gave me incredibly helpful advice and exercises I could complete at home/gym to assist in strengthening my shoulder. I have had shoulder issues for about 20 years and visited numerous orthopedic doctors, but none were as helpful as Dr Max. He is very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. I would highly recommend him for any chiropractic need!!

I hadn’t thought about telling my story due to being an introvert, and personally thinking that everyone is walking through their own challenges; reading mine is the least they’d feel like doing! ... I didn’t know hearing another’s story can be encouraging to others. Being asked to do so for this reason, I am happy to be an open book. About two years ago I cinched up my horse, as I had done many times before . I train barrel horses, and rope when I’m not wearing a pair of scrubs. My husband’s family runs cattle, and we rodeo quite a bit... at least we did. You see, my cinch is what holds my saddle comfortably on my horse (he’s quite spoiled. He has his own custom fitted saddle, message therapist/chiropractor/ acupuncturist/ wears fancy orthotics, has his own laser, nutritionists/ and pretty much whatever he thinks he wants he gets, for me to ask him to run for 16-18 seconds in a clover-leaf pattern. He thinks being a performance barrel horse is a pretty sweet life). As I cantered him around the arena, I didn’t realize my cinch had somehow worked its way From the device that kept it tight. As I sat down to ask him to turn, my saddle flipped me under my horse... at a gallop. When I came to, I was quite dazed and kind of shocky, but hitting the ground is not a completely foreign concept to those in my line of work. I figured it to would pass, along with the pain in my back and wicked, relentless headache. I didn’t realize I had suffered a head injury. Shortly after, as the months passed, I felt sick and off. My heart started to feel super irritable. I’d hook myself up to the EKG at work and would see quite a bit of abnormal beats. I’d feel faint and turn pale throughout the day, and found my balance and proprioception struggling. I felt worn out after a shift, which normally would be followed by getting four horses rode and chores completed. I struggled to just keep functioning well enough to keep working, and I quit competing, having lost my balance and functional vision. After a complete cardiac work up, and multiple doctors trying to figure out what was going on, my friend, a chiropractor asked me to see a friend of hers (a doctor) who delt a lot with brain injuries. I consented. I knew I was getting worse. Little did I know, I had no clue how bad it would get. Shortly thereafter the life I knew quickly changed. I digressed to what my husband says was staring at a wall, slurring my words, and struggling to do basic life tasks. I was no longer able to function as a mom, let alone a nurse. I don’t remember much of those months, but I know I went through two rounds of brain therapy, and saw multiple doctors. After a year of prism glasses, My neuro optomitrist asked me to go to Balance Chiropractic. He had done such a great job of calming my brain down with the glasses, but felt like seeing the gentleman at Balance were the ticket to helping make a big difference in the progression of my vision. Since going to balance, I’ve returned to the competitive arena once again. My journey isn’t complete, but I feel that Balance Chiropractic has been a huge, necessary building block that was missing. It helped significantly with my balance and usual headaches, heart irritability, and proprioception. Each person in their team has been a pleasure to work with, from first meeting Paige, who told me about the different imaging needed, and its purpose, answering my repetitive questions with patience, to my first treatment with Dr.Max, followed by Dr.Nesto. Holly is continually patient with me as I try to schedule treatments around my husband’s work schedule. I am grateful to have been sent to Balance.

I began treatment with Dr. Gamm in September 2015. I feel my spine naturally readjusting after each treatment and I already have increased range of motion in the left side of my body. Tension is finally beginning to release after 15 years post a motor vehicle accident and numerous life challenges! I am also doing my part by continuing physical exercise, eating well, and regular spiritual practice. I believe this care will help me to literally restructure my foundation (my spine) so that I can consistently live in alignment with my higher self and flow with ease.Balance Wellness and Chiropractic Center is a comfortable and welcoming place of healing. Dr. Max, Greg and Paige are wonderful genuine people. They enjoy what they do because they truly care about people and helping others attain optimal health. Dr. Max and the team at Balance Chiropractic are phenomenal. As a natural skeptic, I was hesitant to try (and believe) the benefits of chiropractic. Dr. Max does a great job individually caring for each of his patients and explains things in as much detail as you like. It all makes sense and really works. He also develops a great personal relationship with each patient. I have achieved excellent results from his services. My bodys foundation and posture have improved, my headaches have decreased, digestive system has improved, and my back, neck, and shoulder pain have all decreased. Would recommend EVERYONE to try, not just those who have pain or issues.

Dr. Max and Holly have been fantastic. I could barely walk in and had so much nerve referral pain I could not pick up a glass of water. Dr. Max showed me a better way than just treat the symptom.
