One of my best ER experiences ever. Late night visit, but was rushed back quickly and cared for immediately. Doctor was very thorough and nurses treatment and attentiveness was incredible.Treatment probably saved me from being admitted to hospital over night. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return if an emergency arose.

I was taken care of quickly and with care. My nurse Ruth was the best. She was sincere in my care and made sure I was okay often. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met. They also sent me a card wishing me well. I recommend this place for sure. I will go here instead of the hospital if I need to. Thanks guys!

WOW!We are blessed to have this facility so close and accessible.I cut my calf open with a small ax and needed stitches fast! Instead of going to Baylor Grapevine ER, we went to Texas Health Emergency Room in Colleyville. We figured and hoped that it would be faster. As soon as we came in they took me to the back and the staff introduced themselves. Immediately my anxiety dropped because of the hospitality that my wife and I received.Stacy, Dr. A, and the rest of the staff were AWESOME!The immediate attention to my needs were stunning. They talked to me as if I was a human and not a patient number on a chart. My wife and I felt as if we were talking to friends that we haven’t seen in years.Anyway, in about an hour and ten minutes my wife was driving me home. That team gave us all the after care instructions and answered all of our questions with professionalism.Went back a week later to get the stitches out, done in 15 minutes.I highly recommend this facility for non-life threatening scenarios.

I dont have any details because I didnt go. I called the emergency room and explained to the lady that my upper body right side is swollen and sharp pains in my upper right chest area that make me labor for breath. I asked if they accept Veterans and she said that they do not. I explained to her that other hospitals have been able to bill the VA due to a form I carry as a 100% disabled veteran and the lady said that I would be better off using one of the others... I guess the VA pays less than what this hospital likes to get...

Dont go here!! I visited this place because I received a referral from care now. I was dehydrated so they gave me some fluids and told me to rest (they found nothing wrong with me). A good 9 months later I receive a bill for over $9,000. To say that I was shocked would be an understatement. $9,000 for some fluids? This place is outrageous and all they do is scam people for their money. Also their billing department is not helpful. Its been another 4 months since I called them and I still have not received an itemized statement so I have no idea what they are charging me for. They also said my bill was past due when I only received one bill 9 months after the service was performed. Stay away from this place!! An actual hospital would be cheaper than going to this place. Cheating good hard working people out of their money! I will be filing multiple complains through BBB and Medical Board. I encourage all the other dissatisfied people (there are a ton) to do the same.

I recently experienced severe leg pain which awakened me about 1 AM. I needed to be seen immediately; I knew I wouldnt be able to handle waiting in a hospital emergency room for very long. I leaned about First Choice from a friend. I called the clinic and was told I could be seen right away. I made the short drive, completed the intake paperwork, and was taken to a patient room by a nurse within minutes. A doctor checked me a few minutes later and made a diagnosis. The staff was cordial and professional. The clinic was spotless! I would definitely return to First Choice if I needed immediate medical attention again.

My first experience with First Choice Emergency Room in Colleyville was excellent. The staff were all very helpful, considerate and knowledgeable. There was no wait time before being seen, which was probably because there were no other patients there. That was a great experience, but probably not to be duplicated. The followup visit 2 days later was with different staff, who were obviously in training and my visit wasnt as streamlined, but was still a huge improvement on anywhere else Ive been. I would say to all the staff and administration there to keep up the good work, and remember the care of the patient is why youre there. Thanks again!

Had symptoms like food poisoning and went to what used to be minor emergency center on a weekday morning. It was re-labeled as a Texas Health Emergency Center. I was seen by a doctor for a few minutes who said I probably had the flu instead. They ran a 15 minute flu test. They ran my insurance card and told me I owed a copay of $40. Now - a month later, Ive just received a current bill of $620!! My insurance already paid $520. Outrageous! I would have gone somewhere else had they told me I was going to owe an additional huge amount! I will never set foot in this overpriced establishment again! I have been to this location twice now, and both times with remarkable service. They follow a point system and let you know the cost of your visit within minutes of arriving which is excellent for people without insurance. There was minimal paperwork to be filled out and no wait time, we were in a room within five minutes of walking in the door. Once the nurse had me hooked up to an I.V. she immediately went to the waiting room and wiped down where I had been sitting, knowing that what I had might be contagious. Went in early morning for an infected cyst. Very friendly staff and quick service. But this is a typical ER billing experience...facility is in network...physician apparently is not. Its probably in the fine print somewhere, but I definitely would have gone elsewhere if I was made aware of this. Paid ER copay and am being billed an additional $600. All I got was a prescription for a generic antibiotic for $11, which didnt do much. I still had to go see a dermatologist the next day because the infection had doubled in size. Unless you have a serious life/death situation I would go elsewhere.

WATCH OUT FOR THE BILLING! Everything was great on the front end of things. But the surprise comes with the bill. My son went in for a visit in October of last year and I had to go in earlier this year for potential flu. Testing was done, which I was charged for. The facility fee is the kicker though. My sons visit and mine, as far as initial procedures were the same. The only difference was I was swabbed for Strep and Flu tests. My facility fee ended up being over $300 more. Why? I was told the level of care was different and that standard emergency room billing procedures are used. Well, excuse me, but how does a simple qtip swab justify a different level of care and $300+ additional charges. You all have left a bad taste in my mouth....and that is not from the swab testing. I will definitely think twice before visiting ANY First Choice facility....

I put off going to the ER due to the fact I hate going, I found First Choice through a friend and looking online and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did! First thing I noticed was how clean it was and the friendliest staff possible, I was taken back rather quickly, nurse was extremely friendly and quick, doctor came in within minutes, then I was off to imaging. Once the scans were read by the doctor, he came in to explain everything to me, told me about the medications, asked if I had any questions. Nurse came in to do vitals again, gave RX and paperwork, headed to check out and received some info, small tote bag with the information in it (nice touch) and again from the friendliest people. This was on Sept 2, 2015 around 9 pm and I had a concussion, glad I went. If anything ever comes up again I will be back and highly recommend this ER! Great facility and staffUpdate Feb 20. 2016, I went back to first choice Colleyville, Feb 17 unfortunately I have to change my review and opinion completely. Maybe it was 100% different staff but the treatment was completely the opposite. I was treated horribly, I had been having severe neck pain, constant headaches, dizziness, blurry vision, noise and light sensitivity, sleeping constantly (for someone who hardly ever sleeps), and have memory issues. My daughter was there with me thankfully so she can attest to the horrific way it was handled, I am still having issues and if something does come of this and they didnt treat me - she will be able to sue this irresponsible ER, the unbelievably insensitive doctor and the nurse who would rather laugh and chat then be in the room. I was interrupted before I got the second symptom out, my daughter started listing them, then she was asked what is your relationship?? who cares....she is trying to explain while I am in immense pain. but please ask that question but dont listen to the others. I had a CT scan of my head, since there was nothing evident and he didnt know what was wrong, I was sent home. when my daughter asked, so you have no idea he said well....I think it could be allergies. Allergies, I have lived here for 18 years and have never had 1 allergy issue, allergies can seriously cause all these things including forgetting what word to say in a sentence. Whatever, he just wanted me out of there and when questioned on the allergy diagnosis and really it can cause all of these things? he said oh no it cant but it can some. he didnt know what the rest was. AND HE DOESNT PLAN ON FINDING OUT - Discharge papers were handed and then I was basically shooed out the door with NOTHING. oh wait -they wanted my co-pay first $150. NEVER will I go back EVER

I chose to go to this ER due to the fact that there was no waiting at this facility and I was in severe pain. The ER I visit for all of my and my familys ER care, the wait was over 2 hours and I simply couldnt do that in my pain condition. At the check in the gentleman needed to know why I was coming in. I let him know that I have had 4 strokes and 3 weeks ago I had a mild heart attack. I suffer from chronic back pain. I even had my mris at the ready so that they can view. I have bugle discs that press on my spinal column, stenosis, bone tumors, and other back problems, pain on my left side from residual from strokes, and other pain they are testing for possibly RA, MS, etc. However, my pain management doctor that Ive been going to for 4 years dropped my insurance or my insurance dropped them and Ive been without a doctor and without any meds. I cannot hardly walk, Im in severe pain, and my insurance company cant find me a new doctor until September. They told me to come to the ER to get relief from pain and that the ER doctor will refer me to a doctor. That doctor the insurance company will do an out if network approval for me. The gentleman said OK, however, I didnt have a current ID ( mine was misplaced when I was rushed in to ER for my heart attack) and he told me they the doctor probably couldnt give me a pain meds RX. I told him shoot, but OK I just need relief treated for my pain and a referral. Fine. I get back to the room. The nurse comes in, take my BP, she sits its high. I told her probably because of my pain, she says oh maybe. I repeat to her what I told the gentleman in the check in. She asks if I take meds. I tell her oh yes, I take a lot. She alas me what and I try to remember. OK, Ive had strokes and my cognitive is way off, especially when Im in pain!! She gets impatient with me, but, my fault, I should have brought my Vile of Life list. Then the doctor comes in. She has already a condescending demeanor. She asks whats wrong. I repeat again exactly whats going on. I had my MRI at the ready to show her my spine conditions. After she hears what I say, Dr. Nastaran Solano has this smug look on her face, raised eyebrows, tilted head, leaning one elbow against the counter and says you me We arent a pain management. Im perplexed now. I say to her of course they arent they are here to treat me and I reiterated that my insurance company Tyler me to come.....etc. She says that my insurance company is wrong. We dont give pain medicine. What medicine do you take. I tell her fine, dont give me an RX, just great my pain and refer me to a doctor. She says you have one. I tell her, you werent listening, I dont have one anymore. She becomes more aggressive. Starts treating me like Im a drug addict. Im getting flustered. She asks me what pain meds I take. I tell her I have my empty bottle. I have my son get it out of my purse. Ive been using my Dr.s name however another Dr. is on the bottle. So she argues with me about that. Seriously. Then she argues with me that the RX says 60 and it was on 6/3 well....IF she looked at the RX its for 4x a day.... thats a 2 week RX, but NO.... she was absolutely aggressively treating me liked a drug addict. Talking to me horrible, cofrontational. I even told her to call them, in an 4 years Ive gone there Ive never failed a UA, Im a model patient, call Walgreens even... but she persisted in her attacking me.... so I had to stop her. I asked for her supervisor. The supervisor came in, the door is open while Im explaining to her what has transpired, and shes interjecting yelling, from the desk. Which she kept doing, BTW. So, I here them calling my former doc to varify me and they leave a message. I call them, get through I tell them whats going on and give the supervisor the phone, Solano days they need to call us back we cant talk to them on her phone. As Im talking to the supervisor, Solano STILL interjecting, I tell her, dont talk to me. They varify and find out Im a great patient.

My mom fell and broke her wrist and First Choice ER Colleyville was around the corner. We are really pleased with how fast they got us in. She was in a lot of pain, but they were very sympathetic and made her feel as comfortable as they could. Thanks to the staff at First Choice ER for all their help! hope we dont need yall, but if we do we know where we will go!

They handled my brothers late night knee injury very swiftly, stabilizing his leg and providing pain medication until he could see a specialist the next day. There was no wait and the staff was all very kind. We had a great experience and would absolutely use them again.

Service, facilities, doctors and nurses were amazing. What wasnt amazing was their billing staff--without notice I was sent to collections. Corporate was not urgent in helping me resolve this and it took 40 hours (of calls over two and a half weeks) to fix. Donna Wilborg at their corporate billing office, after acknowledging that I shouldnt have been sent to collections, gave me a lame meaningless apology that did nothing to compensate my wasted time. Also, beware they are a full on emergency room and charge over the top absorbent prices.

I had to take my 6 year old daughter for an IV. First of all there was no wait time. Every single staff member was friendly and knowledgeable, even the doctor spend time to tell me how to take care of my daughters sickness. The nurse took extra care to make sure my daughter took a few more sips of gatorade. The place was sparkling clean. Even if doctors changed shifts, patients did not have to wait longer. I would recommend this place to anyone. Loved the place. Outstanding service.

Patients beware. For a kidney stone diagnosis received a bill for $6,917.50. First Choice ER claims to accept your insurance however they dont tell you that your insurance does not accept claims from First Choice ER. You are not cautioned about any additional costs and they drill you to post a positive review about them ASAP. My services were on June 26, 2014. I received no billing notice until October 6, 2014.

So great to have a place like this close by! I was stung by a wasp and my regular doctor couldnt see me for three or four hours, but my face had already swelled up. I had never had a reaction to a sting before and even if in the end they only needed to give me benadryl and pepcid, I got very caring attention and good advice, within minutes of my arrival at the office. The office is spotless and the staff is excellent.

We took my 3yr old son here for a laceration on his forehead. I was certain it needed stitches and was worried about how my son would handle it. But I was quickly put to ease because they were able to use surgical glue. The staff was very friendly and my son felt comfortable around them. We did not have to wait very long in the waiting room before we were taken back to a private room. A TV was available in the room to keep my son occupied as well and the room was very clean and organized. I would recommend this ER to anyone with an emergency need, especially if you do not want to spend hours and hours in a regular ER or Urgent Care facility with many other sick people.

What the horrible time! Just got your bills 3 months later for $1265 dollars! This is after the fact my insurance layer out $2500 for a cut finger. We all wonder why that insurance is high as it is. Unless you have a lot of money dont bother going here. You think your going to a in the box doctor and find out later they consider themselves a hospital. What I joke! I will be fighting this bill after my insurance layed all this money out.

I had an accident at home which caused a severe laceration and two badly broken fingers. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated with the utmost of courtesy, professionalism, and compassion. They were able to staunch the bleeding, relieve my pain, and take x-rays very quickly. Every step of the way, they explained to me and my husband what they were doing, and asked how I was doing. I can not say enough good things about the facility and the people, and in fact Ive already been telling my friends about what a wonderful experience I had during a very scary and painful time. THANK YOU FCER !!!!

After coming down with a kidney stone attack in my primary care doctors office examination room, he asked my wife to drive me to this location instead of the closer Baylor ER. I wondered why, but after being taken to to First Choice, I know why. The staff checked me in immediately, a doctor saw me in a very short while, my intense pain was gotten under control and we were shortly discharged with scripts and directions for continued home care.I received a call the next day from one of the staff asking how I was feeling. A couple of days after that, I received a card in the mail signed by team who took care of me that night. A very nice touch.I would recommend First Choice ER to anyone in the area, and if I had need for myself or anyone in my family, I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

Do not visit this facility if you are experiencing a non-emergency medical issue. I brought my 6-year old daughter in with a minor bladder infection. I was never told that I was visiting a true Emergency Room and would be charged at a categorically higher rate. 30 minutes of time with the doctor and one urine culture cost me $2983. There is no sign in the reception area that indicates what you will be charged, and the receptionist will not warn you of this. Unfortunately, they are not legally obligated to do so, so they wont tell you until you receive their bill and it is too late.

This was nice enough until I received the bills. Wow, $1,239.75 to run a strep test and flu test. Man, I should have suffered until I could see my own doctor. Then a doctor walks in for all of 2 minutes and tells me what the nurse already told me and charges me $388. I want to make that hourly rate for sure! I DO NOT recommend going here unless you are absolutely desperate. These people will truly rob you blind! No wonder health insurance is so high. Crazy!

I am so grateful for FCER Colleyville!! I am one of those stubborn people that only goes to the doctor when I absolutely have to and especially didnt want to go to an emergency room, but emergencies happen. I had the most wonderful experience - the nurses and doctor were the most incredibly caring people. They gave me help above and beyond what I would ever expect. Thank you so much!!!! I am definitely breathing easier because of them.
