Im so thankful to have met Dr. Salzer! Im one week post my sinus surgery and Im already doing so much better. You cannot imagine how blocked off my sinuses were before. He said that they were some of the worst hed seen. He is so nice, personable, kind and listens well. The first time I went to the office, my 3 year had awakened in the middle of the night with an ear ache. I told them about it and they squeezed him in later that day because he couldnt go to his own doctor because my son had Covid symptoms (aka sinus congestion). Im excited to be able to breathe again and see what other people feel like most of the time.

Dr. Salzer performed my sinus surgery about 7 years ago and did a great job! I also went in a couple years ago for a bump inside my nose and he took it right out with some little scissor tool idk what it was but it was so quick and the bump never returned!

I would not recommend Dr. Salzer. I went to my doctor the day before due to ringing in my ear for 4 days. There was some wax build-up and she tried cleaning it out but it became very painful and she told me my right eardrum was inflamed. She referred me to Dr. Salzer and scheduled the appointment for the next day. She said he would be able to use better tools to clean my ear so it wouldnt be so painful. When I arrived for my appointment at Dr. Salzer I was in a lot of pain and the ringing in my ear was worse. I told him my pain level was an 8 but he didnt seem to care. He just told me to stay still and that I shouldnt be in that much pain. He picked at one ear and didnt even clean the other ear that my doctor couldnt finish cleaning because of the pain. He did a very quick exam and said both of my eardrums look great and that it isnt an ear problem, even though my doctor told me my right eardrum was inflamed the day before. He said I am very tense and have a knot on my upper back/shoulder area and that could be causing the problem. I had to ask him what I needed to do and his response was to go home and stretch or do yoga. I asked what kind of stretches and his response was I dont know, Im not a physical therapist, google it. I cannot believe I just paid $45 copay and who knows what else they will charge later for him to tell me to google it. This was the worse experience with a doctor I have ever had. He ended up giving me some sample ear drops only because I kept asking questions about what to do. Now I am sitting at home in much more pain than when I went to the doctor and have no answers. They did tell me a couple times they were behind schedule but that is no excuse for the quick exam and how he didnt care how I was in so much pain. Instead of asking me how much pain I was in he was telling me I shouldnt be in that much pain and he doesnt understand why my ear would be that sensitive. Well me either, thats why I scheduled the appointment. I had to take a half a day off of work for this appointment and he didnt even treat me. Guess Ill just google it.....

Thank You Dr Salzer and Staff!! Great experience! As a patient I appreciate your understanding, compassion, will to listen and your desire to help!! Many doctors have lost the bed side manner that is needed even in todays fast paced world! It feels great to not be treated like cattle and herded right on through in the name of saved time and profit! If you are looking for a local ENT specialist that handles you with care go see Dr. Salzer!!!

I called to set an appointment and his secretaries were rude and unprofessional. They put me on hold and then they hung up on me and did not return the call, then when I left a message with their answering service they never returned the call. I tried calling all week and they just let the phone ring until it gets to busy tone.

I would not recommend Dr. Salzer to anyone. We were referred to him by our pediatrician for our 10 month old who has had recurrent ear infections and has been on 6 rounds of antibiotics in less than 6 months. He completely dismissed our pediatrician’s concerns and basically made me out to be a mother who jumps from doctor to doctor until I hear what I want to hear. That was in response to me telling him that we had been bounced around from doctor to doctor by our previous peditrician’s office, so we switched to a new practice. Anyway, he said my daughter showed no signs of an ear infection, despite two doctors saying she had an infection just the day before, and told me her problems were caused by teething. She literally has one tooth, so I’m not sure how teething has caused all these issues since November. Needless to say, we will be seeking a second opinion. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I can’t believe it’s more than TWO years after my initial visit that I am having to deal with this. I went to see Dr. Salzer October 2016 for increased allergies, specifically increased lacrimation. He did a quick exam and essentially told me to go to an ophthalmologist and that he didn’t have any advice. I didn’t think anything of it, paid my $25 copay and went on with my life. 13 months later November 2017 was the first time I received ANY bill. On the bill was a procedure for hundreds of dollars, around $700 if I remember correctly. I spent months upon months calling, emailing, sending letters etc trying to dispute the charge as NO PROCEDURE was done. It was countless back and forth. I am a nurse so I was able to understand the name of the procedure listed on the billing. Someone without a medical background might’ve just looked at the bill and paid it. I finally spoke to someone that said it would be taken off the bill. However “removal of impacted cerumen” would remain on there- charging $100 or so to swipe ear wax out so he could complete his exam. Honestly I don’t even remember if that was done or not, but either way $100 for that?! To top it all off, once the correct bill was sent they only gave one MONTH until it was submitted to a collections agency. That is what prompted me to write a review today. I am always responsible with keeping track of things and paying off bills. I understand why medical professionals have to charge what they do. But I truly believe that the office is trying to get away with charging for procedures they did not do, and hoping if they send the bill late enough or if people don’t understand what’s on it, that they will just accept it and pay. Very, very unprofessional and fraudulent.
