Dr. Rajpreet K. Singh is a wonderful doctor! She was able to diagnose my rare disease and helped save my life! I had been feeling ill for a long time and and slowly getting worse. I had seen several other doctors over the years and the only thing I was told is it was an autoamune disease. But not until I met Dr. Singh; She diagnose me! I was very ill the day I met with her my blood pressure was very high. She called the St. Joseph Hospital ER from her office and had them waiting for me as soon as I walked in the doors. I was admitted into the hospital and put on medicine. She saved my life!

I would never go back to this doctor. I saw her, did blood work, had all my files sent to her from Houston and had my oncologist call from his office while I was sitting there to OK a treatment plan for my RA. After 7 months of this she offered me less than 1/6th of the medication I need. After all this, when I objected, she suggested this be my exit visit and now I have to begin all over again with a new doctor. I have been living in a lot of pain all this time just to begin again with another doctor. I am considering filing a claim with the medical board.

Dr. Singh is okay. She started out as a very informative doctor and I was excited to find someone I liked, however it didnt really last beyond my first appointment. From the get-go my wait times were always over an hour, regardless of whether I got there early or not.Her staff was very kind, especially the nurses who checked initial vitals. They remembered me, despite having been one of what I can only assume is hundreds of patients. She seems to order a plethora of blood tests the first visit and I cant fault her for that (knowledge is power), I was a little confused when she said the results were inconclusive and then moved on as though nothing were abnormal. Id had several irregular results but they didnt fit within what she was looking for so she discarded them.At that point it was just medication 24/7. She prescribed me a medication that I couldnt sleep on and then switched me to one where all I did was sleep. Then she tried to get me a name brand for $350 a month and then it was back to the first one at a lower dose. I used the medication for 3 months and was supposed to come in for an evaluation but my appointment got pushed back, though I was out of my meds. In the 2 weeks I waited, I had the worst, most incredible withdrawal symptoms. I wasnt aware that it would happen and when I called in a panic they made me feel like I was overreacting.I went in for my evaluation and told Dr. Singh I wanted off the meds and she said no. I told her I wasnt asking permission and she said, Fine and switched me to a medication for RA, a disease I dont have. I never filled the new prescription, and went to my GP to get weaned off of the medication. It took 6 months and a lot of pain but Im off now. After hearing others talk about her pushing pills on them, I feel more justified.Im not saying she isnt right for you, she just wasnt right for me.

Ive met with Dr. Singh twice now. At my first appointment she just walked in to the room, felt the joints in my hands and asked if they hurt. I told her no, thats not where Ive had any pain, it was shoulder and knees. She then told me to go get blood work done at their lab and that was the end of the appointment. I had already had blood work done, that was why I was referred to this rheumatologist. The next appointment they sent me back to the room to wait for the doctor. I sat in the room for 55 minutes until the doctor finally arrived. She then proceeded to tell me that the blood work didnt really didnt show anything, and then did an ultrasound on my hand. Including waiting time in the lobby I spent almost 1 hour and 20 minutes just waiting past my scheduled appointment time. The best part is, all of the useless tests she just kept running werent covered by my BCBS insurance and Ive now paid over $400 dollars for her to not help me and never even sit down to speak with me about what to expect when youve been diagnosed with the early stages of rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 25. The only thing she offered after telling me I didnt seem symptomatic was a prescription. She just kept pushing pills on me and saying there wasnt anything else she could do for me. $400 dollars for her to tell me I was faking it and throw a prescription at me.

I went through several rheumatologist in Houston & Temple then my new primary care physician referred me to Dr. Singh. From our very first visit Dr. Singh has been relentless addressing the culprits behind my sudden onset of health issues. Anyone who has been diagnosed with a disease under rheumatology or is going through the diagnosing process knows that there is not a single test or anyway to get an overnight diagnosis. During this process Dr. Singh was very diligent in monitoring my progress and setbacks (I wasnt always the best patient). After having the adequate tests results and treatment history, Dr. Singh diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis. When she mentioned biologics to me initially I was reluctant because of the stories I had heard, but she provided me with the information so I could make my own decision. Long story a bit shorter, I started Remicaid in June of 2016 under Dr. Singhs care, and my quality of life has tremendously improved. I went from believing I was going to end up disabled in my 40s to regaining my life. I am so grateful for Dr. Singh and her staff for the on-going care, support, patience they give me especially if I have an unexpected flare. She and her staff provide professional care and concern to the person who happens to be the patient. I highly recommend Dr. Singh to anyone who wants a doctor who takes the time to give them a proper diagnosis, and not just a prescription.

I saw dr Singh today. Needless to say Im so disappointed. I feel profiled, I feel lied to, I feel angry and most of all I am still in pain. I made the appt to confirm that I had lupus because i was tested positive for during a hospital stay in 2007. Thats all I wanted was the confirmation. I am currently having a flare up. I have a rash on my forehead that will not goaway and has been there for over two months, I have pain Im most joints and I cant work. I go into to see her today and my appt is at 1130. About an hour later i get called back only to wait another 20minutes or so....then she walks in and not only makes snarky remarks about the rash on my face telling me to see a dermatologist which mind you I told her I was without insurance and I cannot afford to just throw money around, but then begins to make me feel profiled and mocked when I bring up lupus. She says we will run a lab on you....when I finally get the info for the labs its not only lupus test its about 10other tests I didnt need and a bill of $500 dollars. No way. Not only did she not listen to me or my concerns health wise or financially she made me feel unimportant, and belittled as most drs have lately. Awesome experience. I cancelled follow up appts and I said I wanted money back for the five minutes I wasted under her care and the almost hour and a half I cannot get back of my life waiting. Needlesa to say I was denied my $200 cash new patient fee back. Annnnnd I drove over 2 hrs to be there. Unbelievable.
