Dr. Lauer and his staff are the BEST! Ive been a long time patient and highly recommend him. His staff, Daniella, Whitley and Ashley are friendly, professionally and very kind.

Been going here 20+ years (since I was 10), but the rude front desk staff I dealt with today is honestly making me reconsider.I called earlier today to ask about picking up a copy of my prescription and was told I could just come up to the office and ask.I showed up around 4 p.m. and saw there was a temperature check for appointments. Since I didnt have an appointment, and they were just handing me a piece of paper, I poked my head inside the door to ask. (Note: There were no patients waiting in line or in the office. Just me.) I started to explain that I was picking up a prescription, and the girl at the front desk rudely told me that I had to wait outside until it was time for my screening. I thought she was talking about an appointment, so I started to tell her that I didnt have an appointment, and I was just picking up a prescription. I couldnt even get two words out and she interrupted me loudly, repeating that I had to wait outside until it was time for my screening. I realized that she must mean the temperature check, and I was tired of being talked over, so I waited outside. When she came out to do the temperature check, I told her I was just there to pick up the copy of my prescription. She just took my information, and brought it out. She never needed to take my temperature.

In a world where most vision doctors are primarily focused on a sea of maximized profit, rather than patient care, Dr. Lauer and his staff shine like a lighthouse. You can expect a top quality exam, with state of the art equipment, from a doctor who not only knows what he’s doing, but genuinely cares about your vision and eye health. It can be tricky to get a quick appointment, but that’s because he has a lot of patients (a good thing). The staff have always done their best to accommodate both me and my family, and I have never left that office with any unanswered questions about my vision health. Note: A prescription’s accuracy, is only as good as your answers during the exam.

The dr is fine but the staff is rude and not helping

I took my son, who is autistic, to see Dr Lauer today on the recommendation of another mom. My son had a horrible experience with an optometrist a couple of years ago and needed to have his vision checked without drops. Dr Lauer and his staff didn’t even pause when they were asked to do everything to a stuffed bear first so my son could be comfortable. They were all so sweet and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back.

He is a great Doctor. For years I did not know I was color blind he had me do a test to see and he was patient about it. I have been a patient for years he would cleaned out my eyes of pieces of rock I got when I was 7. He also gave me a great pair of glasses that worked so well I never go to class without them. I may be biased but I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Dr Lauer has always given me a thorough eye exam. Asks me appropriate questions, listened to my concerns. I have been seeing him for at 14 years.

My family absolutely LOVES Dr. Lauer. Hes been my husbands eye doctor for over 15 years and mine for over 5. I have terrible anxiety with seeing eye doctors and Dr. Lauer is extremely patient and understanding. He doesnt mind repeating 1 or 2 multiple times, which helps with my anxiety during the exam! Hes also very hands on in his practice and very knowledgeable in all aspects including insurance. I have yet to meet another eye doctor as down to earth and caring as Dr. Lauer.

Only thing to be noted is they are ONLY open 1-4 on Sundays in AUGUST to better accommodate for familys getting ready for back to school. other than that great doctor and great staff. me and family and friends have been going for over 20 years and dont plan to stop!!!!!

Dr Lauer is the best eye dr that I have ever been to. Very professional, quick and friendly. Have been going to him for years and would never even think about going anywhere else.

Worst experience Ive EVER had. Doctor wrote me a weak prescription after convincing me that my perscription was way too strong and that I really didnt need it. Ive had the same perscription for 15 years and my eyes were just fine! The guy sounded knowledgeable so I took his word for it against my own better judgement. Got my glasses, went to work the next day and couldnt even see anything. Went back a week later and the doctor acted like something was wrong with me and I was delusional. Also gave me defective contacts for my first trial pair that really did a number on my eyes. Used my insurance and they initially said it would cover a six month box of contacts and today when I sent my wife to go and get the contacts for me all they gave her was a perscription and didnt even mention the contacts. I called and now all of a sudden theyre saying that I have to pay in full out of pocket. Dont go here unless you want the wrong perscription and the run around. Should have known better than to get an eye exam in the mall!

Great doctor. They have high tech equipment! Fast & friendly service.

WORST doctor my son has ever seen. WROTE the WRONG prescription for my son and refused to re do the exam. I lost all lenses insurance allowance buying the incorrect t prescription. Doctor wanted to charge FULL visit and refused to reimburse me the money I pay for the lenses I bought using INCORRECT prescription. I paid over 200 dollars for incocrrect lenses. On top of that, THE OFFICE STAFF IS RUDE. Dont go to that place unless you dont care about loosing all your insurance allowance in visits and lenses that you cant use

I have been a patient here for over 4 years now. Very friendly staff! Dr. Lauer is professional and friendly, he is efficent​ but also much more personable than your stereotypical every day stiff ridgid eye doctor. He and his staff treat their customers like a member of the family. Dr. Lauer will typically offer a couple of different options of trial contacts so that you can find what is most comfortable for you! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!

Dr. Lauer is extremely patient and effective. He always lets you know whats going on when you are in your office. Call and make an appointment, and he is typically right on time!

Not going back, prescription is weak several years in a row among larger issues

After waiting for 45 minutes without seeing the doctor, I left. I do not appreciate having my time wasted.

The worst staff I have ever seen
