This was our first visit and we LOVED it. The front and back staff were amazing! The Doctor was so awesome! We will come back for a procedure and maybe I can give another update but I know its going to go great, so far so good. My son said I would give them 20 stars! 😍

Absolutely the best pediatric dentist! They have all the bells and whistles! They are great with the kids! I love the new building! There is even an interactive floor kids play on while waiting for their siblings! Dr. Light is super attentive and great with the kiddos. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. Can not say enough good about them!

We initially came to Dr. Light for sedation fillings for my 4 year old. I was worried he wouldnt do well with just the happy gas as he was squirmy and hard to keep in the chair at our previous dentist. Dr. Light and staff was so amazing with him. He was instantly more comfortable and easy to work with. After his fillings we moved all three kids over and just had the best experience Ive ever had taking 3 kids to the dentist on my own. They even used the polisher on my 3 year old with no issues. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is super accommodating and Dr. Light has been a huge help in getting the services we needed for all the kids done quickly and comfortably. If I could give more than a 5 star review I would.

The entire experience at LPD is AMAZING. From the moment you walk through the doors to the time you leave.My 2.5 year old daughter and I just visited again today for an exam and my daughter had a wonderful time! Yes, you read that correctly, my toddler had a wonderful time VISITING THE DENTIST! The front desk staff greeted her and made her feel so special when she arrived, then we were called back to an exam room where a staff member went over history and then made her a balloon animal to play with while we waited for Dr. Light. Dr. Light has the best energy, she’s so positive and upbeat, while also taking care to make her little patients feel cared for. She talked to us for a while and once we were ready to start the exam, she let me take some time to explain to my girl, who was a little bit nervous, what we were going to do. She then moved with gentle confidence to position my girl for the exam and talked reassuringly and sang to her the entire time. It was the BEST experience. Not a tear shed! We left with a bouncy ball, a couple of stickers, and a very happy and relaxed toddler.I can’t say enough great things about LPD and Dr. Light herself. I feel so fortunate to have found her!

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr. Light and her team. They are so patient and kind and willing to meet kids on their own terms. They also are very patient with parent questions. They think of so many little things that make big differences. Their schedule is always totally packed, so it will be a bit before you can get an appointment, but it is 100% worth the wait.

The entire Light team is extremely attentive, kind, personable, and professional. We had the pleasure of meeting Robin and Dr. Light for our daughter’s first dental appointment and they were absolute angels. I am so grateful to have found a place that truly cares for my little one as their own!

Dr. Light and her staff are absolutely FANTASTIC! When my daughter had her first visit as a toddler, she was very scared and didnt want to go; shes now 6, loves going to the dentist, and told Dr. Light today that she wants to be a dentist when she grows up! Dr. Light and the staff embraced her and told her to come to the office to hang out a few days a week when she gets a little older if she still has that dream, to make sure its really what she wants to do. It means the world to know that theyre so invested in my childs future and want to help her succeed, especially at her young age. Its a drive for us to get to her, but I cant imagine going anywhere else!

The staff was wonderful with my almost 4 year old. I was afraid she would be too anxious to do anything they asked, but she let them take some of her x-rays and allowed them to complete the exam and cleaning because of how comfortable they made her feel.

I cannot say enough positive things about Light Pediatric Dentistry. I was so anxious going into todays appointment, but everything was wonderful! Dr. Light and her team are pros at what they do. Compassionate, caring, quick in the best way, positive, helpful, non-judgemental, gentle... Truly, the list goes on and on. I left with no mom guilt (weve not been the best at brushing), a great game plan, and a child who was not traumatized.

I took both my 3 year old and 4.5 year old for their first dentist appointments yesterday. I was nervous in how they would do, but my concerns were quickly alleviated. Every staff member at Light Pediatric were absolutely amazing with the young ones and helped them warm up and gain trust and confidence quickly. I was highly impressed with how well my girls did, but that is 100% attributed to how the staff approached and engaged the kids. I am so grateful that a family friend recommended Light Pediatric Dentistry and my girls will be going here until they are too old to keep attending!

This was our first time at Light Pediatric Dentristy and we were blown away! Mine and my six-year-old sons experience was 10 out of 10, for sure. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, super helpful and educated both of us the entire time. Dr. Light was so kind and energetic, she was quick and efficient, and extremely down to earth when helping us make decisions for future dental work. Their new office is beautiful and very large with the latest and greatest gadgets. Everything is kid friendly but not too childish for an older kiddo. The space is very inviting. Will 100% continue to use Dr. Light for both of my kiddos!

I absolutely love Dr Light and her staff. To basic cleanings and fixing a broken tooth after our accident... every experience has been amazing. I don’t think I have ever left mad or disappointed about any service I’ve gotten. To scheduling appointments (received emergent care when needed and in a timely manner), talking about insurance which I know can be a headache at times... I am very pleased with choosing Dr Light as my children’s dentist!!

Everyone in this office is wonderful. Weve been taking my now 2.5-year-old since just after his first birthday. He still haaaaates getting his teeth cleaned and fights throughout that process, but Dr. Light and the staff work so hard to make sure the rest of the time spent in the office is fun (balloon animals! Movies! Stickers! Bouncy balls!) that I still think hell be excited to come back next time.

Dr. Light can be very condescending and impatient with nervous and inquisitive children. If your child is the sort that needs things explained to them, like, “What is that thing you are putting in my mouth?” and “Who is that person who just sat down near my head where I can’t see”, then Dr. Light is the wrong dentist for you. I have seen her do better with an easy going child, so I was pretty shocked by Dr. Light’s unprofessional behavior this time. It was lile Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Wow! We had a fantastic experience! I have a 1 year old and an almost 3 year old (with sensory issues) so I was expecting a disaster and really nervous for my sensory kiddo. While my kids behaved as expected, the staff was so patient and calming the entire time. I loved our hygienist and the dentist! They had great feedback and recommendations too. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Dr. Light and her staff are great at what they do. The office is very inviting and colorful. The staff were polite and cheerful. Even with all the extra PPE, they made my toddler feel comfortable and safe. They took the time to answer my questions and did not rush us through anything. We will definitely be using them for all of our childs dentistry needs.

We had attended this dental office twice before, in which I accompanied my child the entire time; we had no problems. During her last visit, they said I couldnt be with her during treatment. I had no problem with that.Once I was able to see my daughter, I should had known something was wrong. As soon as she saw me she began to cry, I could see the fear in her face. I was told that towards the end she woke up from a nap and began to panic. I was told that they just had to tell her to calm down and took their masks off and that she was okay after that. I felt that the situation sounded reasonable and didnt question it. After vitals and paperwork we were allowed to go home. My daughter kept telling me she never wanted to go back, I didnt think much of it since most kids never want to return to the dentist. Later during the day, once we were home, my daughter approached me in tears telling me that the DENTIST HAD SCREAMED AT HER TO CALM DOWN AND THREATENED HER BY SAYING THAT IF SHE DIDNT STOP CRYING MOM WAS GOING TO LEAVE.I have no words to describe how heartbroken I am to know that a so called professional pediatric team treated my child this way. Not only was it unethical and unprofessional, but knowing that a child in an unfamiliar environment who is extremely scared was treated this way is just devastating.I understand that children are difficult to work with, but this is a pediatric dentistry, there are numerous of other ways this situation could had been handled. Screaming and threatening a 4 year old is horrendous and unacceptable. I went in there thinking that my daughter was in a safe space I left her under their care trusting that she was going to be well taken care of, not screamed at or threatened.When I brought this to Dr. Lights attention, of course she denied it and claimed that she changed her tone and that a four year old who just woke up from a nap is not the best story teller. Easy to do when there wasnt a parent present in the room. Ever since our appointment my daughter has been waking up in the middle of the night, because she has nightmares about the Mean Dentist. This situation has affected her more than enough to know that what my daughter said actually happened and that it wasnt just a change of tone.

My girls always look forward to visiting Dr. Light and her amazing staff. Today’s visit was much different. They are following the ADA recommendations to reduce the number of people in the building. The process was seamless. My girls were nervous initially about going in alone while I waited in the parking lot, but they came out smiling ecstatically. The hygienist came out to my car to go over the findings and had already made appointments for their next visits. We will never go anywhere else!

My daughter LOVES Dr Light and her staff! The office ladies are wonderful, the hygienists are fun and Dr Light herself is simply the best. The staff are easy to talk to as an adult and they still interact and relate to the kids at the same time. I could not ask for a better office!

Such a friendly environment! My daughter was calm and cooperative the whole time. From the front desk to the examination room, the staff was amazingly sweet. We previously went to another dentist for my daughters cavities and she recommended we do root canal...on a four year old! Screw that, we went for a second opinion and we found Dr. Light thanks to the recommendation of my pastors wife. Dr. Light will instead do a less invasive, less painful, and cheaper procedure. No root canal needed! 🙌🏼

Dr Light’s office is 100% focused on the children, their experience, and how comfortable they are! From the colorful waiting room full of toys to play with while waiting, along with video game stations for the bigger kids, to the animal balloons, stickers, and bouncy balls. My kids think going to the dentist is just FUN! Dr Light and her staff are so personable and patient with my toddlers that my girls get so excited to tell Dr Light that they don’t use passies anymore and they can brush their teeth by themselves!! It’s so nice that I don’t have crying twins throwing temper tantrums when I tell them they have to go to the dentist!!

As always the front office staff were great. The dental assistant who did my 6yr old son’s X-Rays was very kid friendly! Dr. Light was awesome at explaining the X-Rays and the treatment she recommended was explained thoroughly. We always have a great experience with Light pediatric dentistry!

The staff are extremely patient with both my little girls who struggle with x-rays. I absolutely LOVE Light Pediatric Dentistry! I wouldn’t want to take my kids anywhere else and when booking appointments that speaks for itself because everyone loves them so they stay busy you have to book your appointments pretty quick. My daughter loves the staff and Dr. Light she actually looks forward to her dentist appointments! 👍🏻The staff is super friendly and very helpful with any questions you may have and answer them right then and there. The kid-friendly atmosphere is a definite plus..and the Dr. always goes beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable and trusts her. They have code words for the kids teeth, princess names etc.) and for their devices they use so the kids are calm and don’t get scared of what’s going on. I love that they communicate throughout the process no matter what it may be with the parent and keep the kids involved as well. I will truly be sad when my girls are too big to go there anymore. I love this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone who had little ones. 🥰👍🏻

Light Pediatric Dentistry provides such an inviting and fun atmosphere for the kids! We never have any complaints or anxiety from them when its time for a visit, and it was really telling during the first COVID-19 visit when they had to go in alone. Light Pediatric Dentistry is by far the best dentist office for your children in the greater Brazos Valley area! My boys not only dont complain about having to go to the dentist, but they actually enjoy it! Everyone on the staff there is so friendly and they just have a way with kids! They make the experience one that isnt scary or frightening and that is very important. On their first visit Dr. Light takes a picture with her new patients then mails it home in a cute card a few weeks later. We still have both boys pictures with Dr. Light on our fridge! The atmosphere is very welcoming and looks like something worthy of a TV decorating episode! I highly recommend Dr. Light and her staff to anyone needing a dentist for their kiddos! And even if they arent in your network, she is still super affordable and her staff will work with you however they can!

Friendly staff and clean facility. Dr Light is just amazing and very nice with the kids. The way she counts teeth as characters (e.g. captain America, Hulk, Mickey Mouse etc) meanwhile she examines their mouth makes them feel very comfortable with all the procedures being made. HIGHLY recommend Light Pediatric Dentistry. I have been to 3 other “Pediatric Dentists” in the BCS and Light is by far 100% better! My son is traumatized by dentists offices that claim to be for kids. You would think they would cater to and listen to the kids they are treating. Light’s whole office is so inviting for little ones. Each room is filled with Disney Character stuffed animals, they have headphones for the TVs (which is a great distraction), and balloon animals. Light’s hygienist was so sweet, caring and compassionate. Anytime my son would be in pain, she would stop immediately and say ‘Sorry’. She would continue once he was ready. Dr. Light gives you options on treatment plans. Other dental offices are very quick to tell you that your child needs general anesthesia, which I HATE! Dr. Light was the first dentist who right off the bat told me that my son would be a good candidate for oral sedation (basically a liquid that makes the child relaxed). Light’s is life changing to be completely honest. I left my son’s appointment feeling confident and hopeful that my son is FINALLY in good hands.

Hands down the BEST pediatric dentistry! The front office staff is polite and welcoming; they make sure to explain all treatments, and related costs, prior to the start of your appointment. I cannot say enough about the hygienists; these ladies go above and beyond with every child, every visit. They make sure your child feels comfortable, always explaining what they are about to do in terms that children understand. Dr. Light is AMAZING! She is calm with the children, very personable, and encourages children and their hygienic “skills” (or lack thereof).
