My facial was so relaxing! The customer service is amazing. Jackie was so knowledgeable on all the products that it me find which moisturizer I needed for my skin. This facial I could tell a difference in my skin when I left. Amazing. Ill be back!

I loved getting my hair done here! I see stylist Amanda and shes amazing and does a great job! Perfect local place to get highlights, toner, and deep conditioning! I was obsessed with how my hair turned out and Ill always come back to French Door!

We’ve had the same person cut mine and my daughter’s hair. She drives from Ft Worth every 2 months for Valerie. We’re so sad Val is moving.

Im not sure what is going on with the salon. I use to get a quick response when leaving any type of message to schedule and appointment and I have now called twice, left a message both times and still have not received a call back to make an appointment. Yall use to be prompt what has happened?????

My wife went in for balayage and left with what can only be described as DIY highlights. A Jenna Marbles video gone terribly wrong. She called and asked if it could be fixed and they said of course, and once done with “fixing it”, my wife was charged again, “for product”. After I called and complained to the manager, the manager told me she couldn’t do anything about it, no partial refund or anything. The lady who butchered my wife’s hair refused to call us back. Valerie should not be allowed to work in a salon. Terrible at her job and terrible customer service.

I was only in town for a few days and decided to pop in can get a hair cut done. Taylor was great. She also talked to me about donating my hair i was cutting, talked to me about the style and explained to me how to style the cut i got! was great! if im back in town ill def come back! :)

First time at the French Door. I worked with Amanda and I couldn’t be happier with the result!!! She was recommended to me by a friend and she does a great job. Got exactly what I wanted and she is so friendly!! Will definitely be going to back in the future!

This is the first time that I disappointed with my hair cut. I had long hair, and I asked the stylist Taylor to cut hair with my shoulder level. Still, she didnt do that, she cut it very short parallel to the neckline, and her service was not that good, she dries my hair while every time I received full service, cut, color, highlight with beautiful hairstyle. I like the color, but it was too expensive to pay $300 for coloring very short hair!!!!This salon was the only one that I visit in College Station since I arrived in the city in 2011, and every time I felt pleased with what I got, but this time I disappointed and feel sad because of what happened with me!!!I think I have to reconsider going back to the salon, or the manager should be re-considers with her staff.

I really enjoyed the experience and professional staff. Stylist Amanda was great at the color and cut of my medium length hair. I especially appreciated her tips on how to care and style my hair. She enjoys educating her clients.

I can not say enough good things about this salon! After a hair emergency they were able to squeeze me in last minute. Laura was my stylist and she did an amazing job giving me highlights before my wedding. I will definitely be going back!!!

I will never use French Door again. My wife and I schedule a couples massage for Valentines day every year. We used French Door 4 years ago and had different issues. We decided to try them again and just got canceled on because a masseuse got a flat tire. Our appointment was for 430 and we both took off work to make it. We received a phone call at 4 telling us that we would have to be rescheduled.The receptionist was short with us and didnt even try to get a hold of the manager because they were gone for the day. Then when we tried to reschedule our available times didnt work out. The receptionist hung up on us after we told her to just cancel our appointment because our schedule and theirs didnt line up.I understand things in life happen, such as flat tires but you just happened to ruin something we look forward to every year for the second time. If the receptionist attempted to contact the manager, or maybe if the manager was actually available via cell phone during business hours, maybe our issue would have been solved in a satisfactory way. Instead of having a nice relaxing evening with my wife, she is stressed and I can the muscles that were suppose to be getting massaged tensing up.EDIT: We were contacted and treated very nicely. The problem was resolved. We had a great time and the facilities are quite nice. Our overall experience was top notch. We are still not sold on the French Door for future massages but we are now open to the possibility of using them in the future.

We love the French Door staff! No matter if youre getting a haircut, massage, facial or a pedicure the service is amazing!!! They are so helpful and do their very best every time you go in! Dont wait!!! Book an appointment ASAP!!!

Just in regards to pedicures I was not impressed. The technician did a great job on my toes but the overall experience was not spa-like. The bench were you sit is very uncomfortable and you feel like you’re sitting in the middle of where people are getting their hair done. If you’re looking for a spa atmosphere for your pedicure look elsewhere.

The front desk staff was very nice and I liked the atmosphere. I went and got a massage about a month ago and the first issue I had is that my massage therapist never introduced herself to me. She just asked if I needed to use the bathroom and then took me back. I also did not like that the lights were left on during the massage - not a huge deal but other massages Ive had, they were dimmed. I was supposed to get a Swedish massage and she gave me more of a therapeutic or deep tissue...It kind of hurt and in the middle of it she tried to teach me a yoga pose. Which is nice but I would suggest asking the client if they want to learn it and also doing it at the end. Overall 3/5 experience. I did feel better afterward.

I came here because of the nice and new location but left really disappointed. I read some reviews that said the scalp massages during the shampoo were really great but to my surprise the shampoo only lasted about 3 mins. She did not even get the lower part of my hair washed. It seemed like she didn’t care to do a good job or to fully wash my hair. I felt really uncomfortable the whole time because she was not trying to conversate and because she was so heavy handed. I don’t know if she was upset or what but obviously she didn’t want to be cutting my hair. All I wanted was a simple trim and thinning.Afterwards when I asked to speak to a manager about my experience, the girl at the front did not want to give me a name or number?? I asked if there was someone I could call or talk to and she said No and just asked to take my name and #. I’ve never heard of that before.Anyways it was not worth the expensive prices and uncomfortable atmosphere just for a CUT!! Don’t be fooled by how nice they try to make the place look. Please save your money. Btw the stylist name was Breanne.Edit: As you can see from the management’s response to my review, they do not care about the customers experience. Being it was my first time at this salon, I expected to be treated as nicely as the stylist was treating her colleagues. She did not seem to have a problem being “quiet” with them. I did not ask for a personal number from management, but a business number where I could talk to someone about my experience. The receptionist could at least given me a business email?? Also, I have been to other salons that charge way less for just a trim. But thank you for shaming me for my bad experience and I will be sure not to return or recommend your salon!

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I had an appointment and was supposed to get a simple blonde balayage but instead I ended up with darker then what I previously had done. My hair looked completely the same but darker & this was also supposed to be for a wedding so when I made it clear I wanted a refund they told me they would have the girl call me. It’s been 3 days and still nothing they keep saying she’s not available.

Update: This was dealt with very professionally. Thank you guys!I came back here to get my hair cut because Carolina had done a wonderful job on my wedding hairstyle back in April. I made an appointment with someone else today because she wasnt there. I ended up waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes past my appointment time and when I finally got up to ask if it would be much longer - they had forgotten I was there. I ended up leaving without getting my hair cut at all.Very disappointed with the experience.
