Ive had several therapists here and they are all very good. The office staff is super nice and they make it easy to pay and schedule new appointments. They have plenty of addon services for your massage if you want or need them, but they dont push you to add anything if you dont want it.Reasonable price for an hour massage, especially if you join their reward program. Definitely recommend that if you plan on getting a massage more than once a month.Ive been going here for over a year and a half now and have never had a bad experience!

Ive been coming here for over a year and consistently get very good massages. Ive had 5 or 6 different masseuses, all women, and I only disliked one of them. Two of them, one named Ashley, knows about my back issues and always leaves me refreshed. The other lady, her name escapes me, is also very good. Shes a bit chatty, but I enjoy conversation. The others were very average, not good or bad. I pay $60 a month and typically tip 20%. Im unsure of the quality behind their other services, but the membership prices here is pretty fair.

I dont usually write reviews because I am a believer in the customer is always right but I do find that customer service is a dying art these days so when I find it, I want to shout if from the rooftops!!I am so impressed with Heather at the Clive location of Massage Envy that I just have to sing her praises even though it might make her so popular that I wont be able to get in to see her when I want/need to! Heather is so professional, kind, knowledgeable, helpful and talented in her skills. I have had appointments where I needed extra attention on a should or wrist or just wanted an overall relaxing but productive massage and Heather hits the mark EVERY SINGLE TIME! She begins every session with asking me what I want and where I would like her to spend her time and efforts. Since my bodys needs are always changing, Heather is great to respond accordingly with what she focuses on during my session. I always have a 1 1/2 hour long session and find that it flies by leaving me in much better shape than when I arrive. Heather also gives me suggestions on what stretches I can do at home to help continue to feel better once my session with her is done. THANKS SO MUCH HEATHER....I appreciate you more that you will ever know!

They short you on your time, start late and finish early. Rooms are small, claustrophobic and feel dirty. The couples room is the size a non-couple room should be. If you have already paid for a massage and dont show up they charge you a 2nd time, so you double pay $120 for a massage you never receive. I can see perhaps loosing the prepaid massage, but to charge you again? Very unethical and rude owner and managers. Dont get locked into a contract with them, theyll never let you out and will auto renew taking your money as long as you can without refund. They wont even cancel it if the contract is up and you notify them. You have to physically go into their office and fill out paper if you want to cancel. They want your money and could care less about customer satisfaction and providing a fair service. Avoid this place!!

The massages and facials are great dont get me wrong but members beware and read your contract carefully...If you have to cancel your membership you loose the money that is auto withdrawn and you dont get it back..You can only transfer it to someone... Not a very good way to do business if you ask me...I will not be sharing this website with anyone...Only because I have to so I dont loose 2 1/2 hours of time paid...🤔😕😤

I purchased a 6 month massage package for my girlfriend. That was a mistake. Apparently when you sign up, you are signing up an automatic renewal. If you dont catch it, well...tough luck. I spoke with a nice lady that was willing to meet me half way which was 5 months. So half way at $60 a month equals $300. That means I went over by 10 months or $600. Thats a hell of a package! On top of that, the front desk people, per the companys admission, are supposed to inform you of this automatic renewal. They didnt do that for me. Mistakes happen, I get that. Then they should make it right by refunding me the money. I even asked if others had this issue and I was told that they did. So Im not alone in this. Also, you cant cancel unless you send them a cancellation form. Luckily for me the lady that helped me was willing to cancel my contract on the phone. So why wasnt that done before hand? I live out of state now (I did inform them of on my initial call) so I am thankful for that. So, seeing that others had this issue and the fact that the company was willing to refund me $300, and the fact that front desk personnel are supposed to be trained to inform perspective customers about this, well, this tells me some things:1) Its not obvious to perspective customers to staff must be trained to inform them of this contract.2) Others have had this issue so Massage Envy is aware (or should be at least) that this part of the contract is not readily noticeable (probably fine print) to its prospective customers hence the need for point # 1 (see above).3) This is a terrible business practice that they are aware of and continue to do so in an effort to make money off of the ignorance and trust of its customers.I am completely done with Massage Envy. I will never give them a dime and I strongly encourage that anyone who reads this do the same. The massages werent even all that good. Just so-so. Garbage company!

Massage was good – and were able to schedule an appointment with short notice. They asked if Id like to pay before the massage... which was fine, but it included gratuity (which of course they had a print-out of suggested amounts). Seemed a little odd as that diminishes any real incentive for the therapist to do an above-average job. There was a male receptionist that kept banging things in the lobby and due to either the volume of his voice and/or lack of sound dampening between rooms, I could hear him talking throughout the massage. It kind of ruined the experience. Rates seem to drastically increase after first massage if you don’t become a member. Leaving gratuity at the end (if you pay by credit card) is verbally communicated to the receptionist for all to hear vs. writing on the receipt. My guess is this is intentional.

My massage was mediocre at best its hard to find a good therapist when they pay less than 15% of the monthly membership to you the therapist. Its also hard to find a therapist who will keep their area clean as I acquired much acne at this place and the workers claim that its a petri dish

I would not recommend anyone to purchase a gift certificate from this place. Ive never seen a place require a credit card to hold an appointment for something that is already paid for. Nothing is mentioned about this when youre giving them your money. I will never return and will turn away as many people as possible away from this company! Very poor business practice and would never buy a membership. BUYER BEWARE!!

I had a great visit to the Massage Envy in Clive. My therapist Lucinda was awesome and did a fantastic job of focusing on what I really needed. Ivery been to locations across the country and the staff in Clive have been some of nicest I have worked with.

I had a horrible experience here. They told me I could cancel and then continued to take money out of my account. I have not used any of the massage credits because I have asked three times to cancel. They will steal your money which is why there is such a large lawsuit against them right now. I would recommend not getting involved with this company.

Auto renews without email notification even though they claim they sent it. Puts a 60 expiration date ON THE PRODUCT YOU PURCHASED if you cancel. Oh by the way, they told us to cancel you have to fill out a form. But no, they cant send it to you. You have to waste more of your money to go in there and fill out a form. Ive have dealt with so many companies that value their money with no regard to their customers lately that it makes me sick. I will not go back and I do not recommend to anyone.Edit: I forgot to mention they wont refund the session either. Once its charged its over. And the local office will take no responsibility for anything. It was nothing but corporate office does it. Cooperate office this. Corporate office that.

Had an amazing massage the first time around, the second time was not as great. I dont get much out of having my legs or face rubbed and even though that was in my profile, the 2nd masseuse seemed to focus on these 2 areas. So far its been a crapshoot.

Consistently disappointed by this place. A 60 minute massage is really 50, because they start 5 minutes late and end the session 5 minutes early. I havent found a masseuse that I like yet and Ive tried 8. I just got jipped out of a massage because someone else took my masseuse when she called my name while I was trying to check in. When I tried to tell the assistant she shrugged me off and I wasted 40 minutes of my time while they tried to figure out their mistake...
