Easy to get in and out, big space to back up to the dock. Very nice people. Receiving is until 2 pm , arrived just on time they still take it, very happy about it. Got a door right away, start to unload immediately. Good place to deliver.

Love what they are doing for the community! Delivered a full 53 trailer here. Staff is friendly, covid compliant, and they unload very quickly. In and out in under an hour. A little tight to blind side to some of the docks but thats the space they are working with. I will gladly deliver here again!

Fast unloading, small place

I used to volunteer here. I love the place, I might go back!!!

It was a great experience!! I went from 6 to 8 PM on a Tuesday. There were a lot of volunteers that day and we put boxes together and but milk cartons in the boxes. It was really cool to hear how much we accomplished at the end of the night and how that will impact the community.

Thanks for the help. Ive only had to use services once but they were life savers. Thanks again. I plan to donate when Im back on my feet

If you need help with getting information on many services, first and foremost help with food insecurity of any type in a multi-county area, these are the people to call! Wonderful staff, wonderful service!

My family and I volunteered here and the experience was awesome. The staff was super friendly and did a great job explaining what we needed to do. At the end they told us how what we did would help the community. So while we didnt get interact directly with those we helped you still feel a sort of connection. We will be back for sure. I went to greater Cleveland Food Bank to volunteer and prepare for whatever they needed prepared that day, I think its different every day. So I ended up in the warehouse going through the fresh produce preparing it to be given to the partners that would distribute to those who were in need. Its a wonderful place to volunteer if youre looking for an opportunity to give back to the community.

Beautiful organization run by extraordinary people. I volunteered at a food drive here and everyone was so friendly and eager to help. They had a great system in place to make sure everyone who wanted food got some before it ended. Would definitely volunteer there again!

Had a great time volunteering with coworkers! The service provided to the community from the Food Bank is irreplaceable! Families in need can come in with ID on Thursdays take food home to last at least a week. Meals are provided to after school programs, ect. Your donation of time or money would never go to wast here!

If you are having issues applying for Snap benefits they are here to assist. Ive applied online via the JFS website and never heard from anyone after months...Ive was recommended to apply at the food bank and when did got a call in under 30 days so thank you so much for that. They also have sys to get produce and much more. The only negative I did not feel comfortable from the staff they did provide a warm welcoming especially when Im coming in need.

I look forward to my time at the food bank. I not only feel like Im doing something good. I feel so good when Im there and have so such an over whelming internal since of well being.

This is such a good place for individuals and families in need. I volunteered there and everyone was willing to work together and get things done. I felt like I did something important, and I cant wait to do it again.

I love the food bank when they are great to the community there are a lot of places thats connected to them that distribute food does not distribute the food properly and do not care about the community theyre giving us leftovers if theres any at all and theyre keeping the rest I think that someone should be standing over them when theyre giving out our food just to make sure we get the right amount

On this visit, the distribution center provided produce (oranges, pears, apples, grapefruits, potatoes, cucumbers, loaf and sandwich bread, eggs, vegetarian tv dinners, and milk). This is a vital service, especially for government employees who were furloughed due to the longest government shutdown in history. I hope they are always around, because food is not always easy to come by. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank gives us a fighting chance, and I appreciate that so much. Those that are able should donate time and food to them. It is truly a helpful service for the community.

The produce we are given is more than helpful each month,along with all of the can goods rice cereal milk and other items.they always will call you .and leave a voice mail each mo th to remind everyone to pick up their produce and fresh vegetables and the staff is very ,very organized and kind.👍👌

Fantastic place doing great things for the community. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Havent had to rely on their services myself but as a volunteer the facility is very clean and well maintained. Instructions given to volunteers are easy to follow and the goods produced by the volunteer program really seem like they get put to good use.

So many helpful programs for communities in need. Every now and then the Greater Cleveland Food Bank schedule special events for more ways for the those in need to advance. One of my favorite programs is the produce hand out from 4 to 6 every 3rd Thurs. Of the month.

A great place to volunteer as individuals or in a group. People there are super nice and they are also very efficient. They will have you work in different projects and you will have a sense of accomplishment when youre done.

Disrespectful employees and drivers, most of them dont feel like working at for some reason, its like they hate there jobs. If your driver and you have a donation, go donate somewhere else, where they would respect the driver/product

I volunteered here in February. I can not say enough good things about them. Easy to sign up online and incredibly generous. The volunteers are so nice and the help is super appreciated. I highly recommend. They do such good things and you leave feeling accomplished as a volunteer.

Volunteers are the Best of the Best people in this country of Greatness. I volunteered for the American Red Cross in Southeast Ohio and actually felt like management really didnt appreciate us volunteers. In contrast, all these great volunteer reviews convinced me otherwise that they are great non profit orgs. out there that really do truly care about their volunteers.

I am a low-income individual, so the distribution provided here is a life saver. They distribute produce twice a month, which can stretch survival and give my family a chance for nourishment. Your mind cannot be productive when your stomach is empty.

I went here for some produce. It was fine.

This business is mostly a hub for other smaller food banks, or meal sights across the Cleveland area. They do offer amazing support, through their own drives, and helplines for those wondering where to go, who to talk to, or how to cook something. If you ever find yourself at a point where you need a tiny bit of assistance these people will be able to help, or point you in the right direction.

What an awesome experience, took my 12 year old and we volunteered to pass out well over 500 meals

They dont really give you anything good they give out the same produce carrots potatoes etc, wast of time for me

Free vegetables, fruits, loaded n ur car. Every third Thursday of the month. They also have other services available to the public. Time 4p.m.-6p.m. bring ur identification, thats all u by ave to do. And it doesnt matter where you live.

This the cleveland foodbank headquarters. Making food, packing, repackaging, starage. It all happens here.

Good times with co-workers helping out. Makes me happy that all this food is not wasted.

Taking the time to help community members who need food assistance is a humbling experience that reaffirms how blessed I am.

I have worked with them while serving on JCU Labre (a university organization aiding Clevelands homeless) for many years. They give so much to us and other worthy causes. We have never been at a lack of food to share with those in need. They also have a very quick and easy process of giving donations. You drive around to the back of the building, and pull up to the garage door with the ramp that says donations. Dont worry if it looks like no one is there. Someone will open the door, help you unload, and give you a receipt of what you brought in. It takes less than 10 minutes for the whole process.

Very friendly employees, I highly recommend volunteering here if you can!

Great way to make ends meet great free food

My experience with the Foodbank comes from volunteering and I can say it is a great place to help out. The workers are always upbeat and I enjoy volunteering there. The best part is the foodbank is able to serve 50 million+ meals a year which makes a real difference. Please support the Foodbank in any way you can!

The food bank gave out turkeys for Thanksgiving and the fixing, always helping in the community and giving back.

It was ok no long line as long as your just there for the free produce. But they do have other things going on.
