This was the first time my pet had boarded in about 2 yrs. She was well cared for. I would definitely use them again for future boarding.

The uptown hound is the place to board your dog!! The staff is super friendly always polite when on the phone and in person! Their property and facility is amazing! They take the absolute best care of the animals and spoil them like they are their own pets! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Uptown Hound is great! Staff has always been super awesome and kind! I’ve boarded my pups here multiple times now and I love that they send you a picture message every day showing what your pups have been up to. I don’t know where I would be today without the help of Callie, Tyler, and the entire staff at the Uptown Hound. My German Shepherd, Chief, has been going there for the past 3 years and absolutely LOVES it! They treat him like one of their own and he can’t wait to return each day. That says a lot since he is VERY spoiled at home! He rides their transit service in the morning and they provide activities during the day that allow him to get his energy out. I’ve used their lodging services as well and have had no issues. They pay attention to his needs while I’m gone and that’s very reassuring to me. I would recommend the Uptown Hound to anyone who is interested in leaving their dog with someone who will care for them as much as you do!!

We absolutely love The Uptown Hound! Oliver goes to day care there and he’s been there for nearly a year. He can’t wait to get through the gate when we arrive every day. He also stays there when we go on vacation. It makes our vacation much more enjoyable knowing that while we are gone that he is well taken care of, and is used to the people and other dogs.

5+ stars used last summer and making plans to use again this summer. facility is great looking, big, clean. all employees we interacted with were polite and friendly. dogs were healthy happy and even washed when we picked them up. if your like our family and I assume most people are our dogs are not just dogs. they are our family. we include them in all we can but unfortunately vacation isnt something we can include them in as they arent small dogs so we have to board them when going on vacation. and it puts your mind at ease knowing they are being well taken care of and being kept active during the day so they arent locked in a cage wondering why we left them. we are very fortunate to have this facility so close to our home and they really are a great place. will use them again

Ive been taking my dog, Cash to this daycare/resort for over 5 years and I cant speak highly enough about them. Cash gets so excited when we turn onto the street of their business. She is always greated with warm and happy greetings. The owners are so friendly and really care about their guests and their parents. Customer service and experience are of the upmost importance to them. I appreciate them so much for how happy they make my fur baby and the experience they give her while shes there. I look forward to bringing her to this daycare.

We dropped our dogs there for a few days so we could visit distant family. Great team and good price. The dogs looked extremely happy and well cared for at pickup.

Our two fur-babies love the staff at the Uptown Hound Doggy Day Spa. When we arrive in the car and walk to the entrance they are so excited. They never look back once at me, they are eager to get to friends and a warm, caring environment. They have been guests for doggy day care and have been guests as boarders. The friendly staff also helped me understand dog nutrition and now both my dogs are on a better food and thriving. I really cant say enough about Callie and the crew. You will never regret your decision to leave your babies in her care.

Ive been boarding my 2 year old German Shepherd with Tyler and Callie for about a year now and The Uptown Hound is fantastic. I travel a lot so I look for convenience. I like the convenience of doing ALL my scheduling online. Its very helpful. I also love that my dogs shot records are on record. Its convenient getting email updates if a few shots are due or coming up on the calendar. My young German Shepherd has a lot of energy and requires a lot of activity. I feel very confident my dog is being cared for while Im away and every staff member shows patience with caring for my dog. Fantastic service and best doggy hotel around. Thank you Tyler and Callie!

We have been taking two of our three Star Wars heroes Uptown 3 days a week for day camps and they love it. We know they are well taken care of and get plenty of friend time. The force is definitely strong with them. Poe and Finn are always excited to go and tired when they come home ..... Rey will join these rebels once shes aged a bit.

The Uptown Hound is a wonderful place for my furry son to spend time while Im away. The staff is excellent and we feel like part of the family. Ozzy loves to play in the lake, go for walks, and eat doggy ice cream. They also send me pictures and text messages from him so I can see that he is happy and having a great time! They spoil him! I cant say enough good things about the Uptown Hound!

Uptown Hound was recommended to us and though it is an hours drive from home we decided to give them a try.Callie, Tyler and the entire staff are just wonderful and have taken exceptional care of our boy these last few years.We are very grateful to Uptown Hound for the great care, and our boy thoroughly enjoyed his many walks, hikes, runs and the time with the kids playing ball in the fields.Sadly, Rocky is gone now but we will always be thankful to everyone at Uptown Hound for taking such good care of him when we were away and we highly recommend Uptown Hound to anyone looking for a safe, fun place for their dogs to spend the day or week.

We love Uptown Hound. They have very good customer service. I can go away knowing our dogs are getting the love and special care they need. We drive 35 miles one way to take our dogs here. No one else that I have found to board our dogs spend as much time and give the care as Uptown hound. Our dogs are so happy to go here. I would highly recommend them.

I recently boarded my yellow lab at Uptown Hound. I am very careful when it comes to my pet so I asked for a tour before I registered him for his stay. The staff welcomed the offer and took me on a full tour of the facility. This place was very clean and the entire staff catered to the pets every need. I knew this would be a good experience for my dog so I signed him up. When I picked him up today I watched him for a while before he knew I was there. He was having a blast! I would recommend them to anyone. Their rates are reasonable, the care fantastic and cleanliness second to none.

I took my dog Smoke to get a bath and his nails trimmed. The staff was wonderful! He smelled amazing and his fur was so soft! I highly recommend The Uptown Hound. Their facility is so nice and clean. My husband and I were very impressed!!

Came in from out of town took both my Dogs to the facility for several days....The owners Callie and Tyler are the best...The staff is great...The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained...received text msgs and pics everyday on how my babies were doing and all their activities. Uptown Hound is the Best! I wish we they were in Oklahoma City where we live. When we come to Cleveland, this is the only day care that I dare take my show dog, a 2 year old Australian Shepherd with over 20 titles to. No only do they have the best doggie day care/boarding facility, they understand the whole dog concept from nutrition to grooming to training.Thank goodness they carry Fromm dog food on site! Not only do I feed Fromm, but Hazel loves it as well. This year she finished as the #1 Australian Shepherd in the US for Rally and Fast CAT (100 yard dash). Since 18 of the 20 titles were earned this year, I know nutrition played a huge part in our success. Hazel also Loves Loves Uptown Hound. Weve been visiting for 3 years now and Hazel has never had an issue or incident - just a barking good time!! Thank You Callie !

I have used The Uptown Hound for approximately 8 years now. My dogs love going there, They get excited when I mention they are going on vacation. I would not leave my animals just anywhere because to me they are my family. I know when they are at The Uptown Hound, they are being well taken of, they are happy, I know they are getting everything they need and that takes every bit of worry and concern from me to be able to know they are in a safe and happy environment. I know should one get sick, that a vet would be called, and I would be informed. For me to be able to go away I have to have the security of knowing my animals are safe, happy and in a clean environment. At The Uptown Hound I can always have that satisfaction.

Lucky loved his stay at Uptown Hound! He normally deals with stomach issues after being boarded, but he came home healthy and happy after his stay with Callie and her staff! We will definitely be using Uptown Hound again. He felt the love and so did we!

Our puppy Walker absolutely loves going to The Uptown Hound! Their daycare program is wonderful and it makes us feel so much better that he is being taken care of by such an amazing staff while we are away at work all day. We utilize their boarding as well when we are away and he loves every second! Highly recommend if you are looking for a daycare or boarding.

Negligent and carelessness are just two words that come to mind.As the saying goes you cant always judge a book by its cover. After our fur baby went for daycare for a little over 3 months he then had two incidents needing emergency vet care. The first was after picking him up one day I noticed his eyes watery and his jaw showing signs of swelling. After taking him to an emergency vet clinic the veterinarian said he was having a reaction to something that caused him to break out in whelps, also causing his face to swell up. The vet said he either was bit by an insect or he consumed something. The second was a cut paw and toe nail that got completely torn off. I was told it happened on the steel fencing they have. This caused him excruciating and horrible pain as it would anyone having a toe nail ripped out. Seeing our baby limp around on three legs for three weeks just broke our hearts. It wasnt until the end of the fourth week of recovering from being injured that he was finally able to put weight back down on his hurt paw.We liked our fur baby going to day care there however it just takes that one time when it all goes bad to ruin a good relationship. I was told by one of the owners that he wasnt sure what kind of expectations we had. Really?!? I expect my pet to be loved and cared for in the same way that he is cared for when he is at home. No different than caring for children, their #1 priority should always be your pets safety and well being. High expectations? Yes I would have to say I had high expectations. Needless to say well be taking our business somewhere else now.If you decide to bring your pet here I would highly recommend doing spot checks unannounced in the middle of the day. Ask to tour the facility down stairs. I would also ask the staff questions often when the owner wasnt around....you cant always judge a book by its cover.

I have a 3 yr old boxer and a 5 month old puppy who cannot wait for school days! They have fur friends and play endlessly! Even better is the bus that picks them up and brings them home. Both of my babies have had the experience of play and socializing that as rescues they desperately needed! Boarding there is just as amazing and they even get milk and cookies! My older pup fell in love immediately and follows Tyler and the other resort help everywhere!! I cannot be happier to hand my babies off for a day of play and love!! They come home happy and exhausted from hours of ball play!!

Whether you are dropping off for day care and socialization or whether you need to be away from your fur baby for an extended period, you can be sure your dog is treated like family. My dog loves to head to her doggie spa when we are away from home. Uptown Hound staff makes sure all animals are properly vaccinated and in good health. They get to know the pet personalities and offer lots of romping time with other dogs whose company they enjoy. They have a huge fenced in area for play...several, in fact. The atmosphere is relaxed and the facilities are probably cleaner than my kitchen floor, and Im a little fussy about cleanliness. They provide all bedding, all sorts of booking options and you can even request from a menu of treats and upgrades. They also sell quality food ( for your pet) and treats on site. They get booked up quickly during busy traveling seasons and holidays so be sure to check ahead and book as soon as you know your plans. I cant recommend Uptown Hound highly enough.

My two Great Pyrenees normally hate to be boarded, and I have to pull them out of the car. They loved it here and didnt seem to want to leave.

Uptown Hound has taken care of Allie, our cocker spaniel, for 3 years now (since she was a puppy). We started going to Day Care one day a week so I could run errands, give her time to play and get used to being around other dogs. She loves it! We board her there when we are out of town and I never worry one second about her. We’ve had some issues with her skin and recent bladder stone surgery and Callie has been so helpful in helping me figure out a what dog foods to give her and how to clear up her issues. They carry excellent dog food and that has been a life saver for me ... one stop shopping! If she is sick or not feeling well, they call to check on her. I highly recommend Uptown (and have) to anyone looking for a safe, fun, happy place for their fur baby(ies). Tyler, Callie and all the staff are like family now ... take a look ... I know you will feel the same.

They are amazing! While on vacation they sent us photos & updates on the dogs days. These are photos of the dogs having an AMAZING time mind you! I swear my dogs had a better vacation than we did, lol. It is worth every penny to take your furbabies here! They receive top notch care, attention, facilities, and activities while boarding (vacationing)! I will no longer go anywhere else after seeing how happy my babies were here! We send our two pups to day camp 5 days a week, and have done so for the past year. My husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Uptown Hound! One of our pups deals with some major storm anxiety, but Tyler, Callie, and Shania are always so good to her, and give her the extra attention to keep her calm. We have boarded them many, many times over the past year, sometimes for 2 weeks at a time. My favorite feature of boarding is that they send you pictures of your pups every day. I feel much better about having them boarded at a place where they can run around and play, rather than being cramped in a Kennel. If you havent tried this place out, I highly recommend it!

My AWESOME, HIGH energy GSP LOVES the Uptown Hound! He sits by the door each morning and whines until we leave to take him there. LOTS of room for him to run and play with others. The facilities are really great! VERY clean! And the staff are all so friendly and helpful. You could not find a better place for your baby while youre at work or out of town. After my dog’s first visit to The Uptown Hound I knew we had found the grooming and boarding facility of a lifetime.Tyler & Callie Lawson and The Uptown Hound staff are exceptional & for 7 years they have treated my dog as if she were one of their own.

If you are looking for a professional yet personable place to board your dog, this is it! Every interaction from making reservations by phone, to dropping off our furbaby, to picking him up was handled smoothly and efficiently by the friendly owners.We were nervous to leave him at a big, impersonal kennel all the way in Houston while we traveled the Tennessee region, and I remembered The Uptown Hound used by a friend who lives there in Cleveland. The clean and pretty facility is located on a big, beautiful country property on the outskirts of town that offers tons of space and cool experiences for your dog.Much thanks to Tyler for putting us on a waiting list and then getting our cockapoo, Chowder in over the busy Memorial Day travel week. He covered everything so we knew what to expect and what they would need (shot records, food, Chowders ear meds, etc) to make this a perfect experience.These people obviously know and love dogs, and did a good job of assessing Chowders temperament and comfort levels. They were able to put him in a play group of other animals where he felt comfortable and he had a great time! Only downside to the whole experience was that after a week of his doggy vacay, he didnt seem as excited to see us as usual when we picked him up!Even his exit bath was fantastic as he felt like silk and smelled like blueberry muffins for the long car ride home. Even now, three days later he still feels and smells like joy! Thanks again, Uptown Hound!

This is the second time I’ve gotten my dog back and she’s been dripping blood. The first time it was chalked up to nothing, but now I can’t ignore it. It is not normal to have your baby come home bleeding. I have used this place a lot but after these two incidents I will not be returning for boarding.

Worse employment practices EVER! After working they try to say you dont get a check and try to say its part of their interview process. When the interview is a week before when they hire you in!

We havent used this place yet, but because of david hesters review, we are doing it next weekend.
