The owner is really professional and is great at working with many types of hair. I drive my roommate, whos Korean, to this salon so he can get authentic Korean hair styling. Hes always happy with it. I usually get my hair cut right after and every time I trust the owner to do a great job with mine as well. Really great business and a super helpful owner.

Went in for a perm had an appt was waiting cause she took in walk ins a whole hour after my appt. Asked for a perm she did as she wished and very loosely rolled my hair for a tight spiral perm.. my hair didnt show any perm results, all she said was I tried and still charged me over a 100 dollars... oh but she cut the hell out of my hair which I didnt ask for. .

This is my first time in Cleveland. To find a good Barber shop , I have google several places. Today I visited Sun hair Salon and the barber has excellent skill. I have very good experience this time. I will visit here again.

Been going to this place for several years. Always had good communications and good results. Shes one of the few stylists in town knows how to deal with Asian style hair-cutting. Highly recommended.

The owner( a Korean lady) pushed me to buy $60 shampoo and I was at first very hesitant. She kept talking how good the shampoo was and how I needed it. After I brought it home, it was so bad and I would say even cheapest hair shampoo at Walmart was better than her shampoo!!!! Very bad at cutting my hair too. Will never come again!

Great lady, poor results. Showed a picture of what I wanted (my hair was long I wanted a longer haircut) the picture was long and she cuts it way too short. Completely destroyed my hair one side is uneven my sideburns aren’t the same length. Going to have to regrow my hair for another 4 months

She’s been greatly personable and skillful. Style-wise, she is pretty good at any style i requested ever since i’ve met her. I would absolutely come as long as she opens and i hope she opens alwaysss

I have Sun do my hair for about 10years. she always suggest the best for my hair, such as not to perm hair more than twice a year.

Showed a picture of what I wanted but ignored my instructions and cut it waay too short. Looked nothing like the style I wanted and completely destroyed my hair.

I’m giving a 5-star review to offset some of The 1-stars. Because the lady really does a good job, and I have been coming here for 3 years with no issues. Even my roommate - who isn’t asian- comes here as well. The only complain is there sometimes is a wait since she is the only one cutting the hair.

I went there once, because I was desperate and had a wedding to attend that week. I explained that I wanted a trim with layers. With in 3 minutes she cut off all my length and gave me thick blunt cut bangs. No wash no blow dry! Worst hair cut ever!! Took months for it to grow out.Wonder if shes really licensed!? DO NOT GO THERE, SHES THE WORST OF THE WORST!!!

Highly not recommended. I did the korean hair straightening. She burned my hair & from the front its so burned that its so short now & pointy. It became so fragile & brittle, it literally breaks whenever I comb my hair or just slide my hands through it. I did the Japanese straightening before many times all of which didnt damage my hair & I never lost so much hair after doing it. She claims she took classes of how to do it & she kept telling me how the Japanese one has been damaging my hair & the Korean one is better. If you love your hair, DON’T DO YOUR HAIR AT THIS SALON!!! I WILL SUE HER.

Its hard to find a hair salon that knows how to cut thick, straight asian hair like mine. Sun cuts fast but is meticulous and really listens to how you want your hair. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the price could be a few dollars cheaper. But still I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. I highly recommend her.

My son and I went there. She was very kind and friendly. Hair style was not bad for us. Not the best but it was so manageable.

DONT GO! I had really long hair all the way up to my hip before I went to get my dead ends trimmed. I told her I just want to get rid of my dead ends, I still want to keep my length. I cant believe how short she cut my hair, it barely reaches my shoulder. AND she cut my bangs too short and thick that they stick out like a hedgehog. I have to wear hat everyday to cover my bangs. Like the other review said, I will probably be stuck with this hair for another six months. I want to cry too!!!

The worst hairdresser ever!!!! She totally ruined my hair in 5 minutes. There is no style and no skill. My hair was cut without layers at all. She didnt even bother to wash or blow dry, but asked for a high price. Save your hair and avoid her!

You will never know how bad a hair stylist can be until you go to this place. You will never realize that you can even hate a hair stylist until you see what this lady does to your hair.
