Everyone is very knowledgeable and answer all questions asked. They all care and make sure I was well taken care of. Really appreciate the care and understanding of everyone.

Very busy office but seems to operate very efficiently. Employees are patient and kind. Dr. McLean is very knowledgeable and compassionate and interested in patients overall wellbeing. Will definitely go back.

Please be aware!! If you have Medicaid this office will only take your insurance if you’re pregnant. I am now in my postpartum stage and I am needing birth control. I have actually talked to several providers in this facility in regards to my birth control plan after labor and no one had mentioned to me that they will not cover you after pregnancy, not even for birth control. I found that out through there Tampa billing office after I had called my insurance and they stated that the birth control wasn’t even ran through billing ( which is why they couldn’t give me a clear answer on why billing “ denied “ the claim ) so I ended up calling the Tampa location to see if billing could give me more information and the biller stated that they only take Medicaid during pregnancy and not after. Why couldn’t this office explain this to me? I’ve been going to this office for 9 months of my pregnancy and no one mentioned this. Now for my postpartum care I have to find a different provider. Don’t waste your time coming to this office, you’ll just end up having to search for another provider for continued care.

I knew there was something wrong. I had really bad bleeding/cramping. After the bleeding continued for 14 days, I reached out to the office. I messaged them And got a response 3 days later. All they would do would give me a hcg test to see if I was miscarrying again. I called another obgyn practice and they got me in the same day. They did a bunch of tests & a thorough assessment… and guess what and there most definitely was something wrong. I had a hysteroscopy a few weeks ago and then surgery last week. Finally I’m feeling better!

I could not be more happy with my experience here. The hospitality is incredible and each person makes you feel as if you are the only patient(even if they are busy). They make you feel important and listen to everything you say. I went in with no insurance and having issues with my cycle and they took care of me. I waited almost 2 weeks before I was able to get in due to limited scheduling because of coronavirus but I’m happy I waited and didn’t try to get in somewhere else. I met with 3 different women: Tricia did my ultra sound, Erica did my vitals, and Vanessa was the nurse practitioner I saw. They were patient with me and calm and informative. They told me what they were doing, when they did it, and what my next steps were going to be. Each and everyone in that office I saw was happy, made sure to greet you or tell you to have a good day on your way out. You don’t see that in very many places. I felt the pricing was very reasonable for me not having insurance but not something I can afford all the time. So hopefully I’m able to get insurance soon and get my health back on track! Thank you for everything you all did for me.

This place is horrible. I came here after going to many other doctors and being recommended by my friend and PCP only to have the lady at the front desk treat me with such disrespect. There was an issue with my insurance that I had never encountered before and she was completely rude even when I was in tears. She made a very stressful and scary situation for me way worse than it should have been. You work at a doctors office and an important one and you should realize the kinds of patients that come in there.I wish the other person at the front desk and the doctor could make up for this negative experience but they can’t.

Refuse to refill a much needed prescription because I am not able to make payments on a $500 bill. I thought this office cared more about their patients verses making money. I am not working because of the pandemic and issues the office is aware of with my employer so I am not choosing not to pay. The medicine is needed because of a surgery. I will survive this with over the counter meds until I return to work and get insurance but feel this is no way to treat a patient that you performed a surgery that requires this medicine.

I have never felt so uncomfortable with a place. I understand that covide is a big deal to not letting people in that are not patients, but please do not be rude about it. So if a ultrasound for a baby was in order, you are telling me husbands cant enter with wife to hear the baby? For serious and possible deadly diagnosis husbands are not allowed to be there? Front Clerk was rude and very disrespectful and one thing we do not appreciate is being talk to as children. Not understanding the difference in letting someone feel out a private questionnaire on paper in which everyone did. But we have to tell you everything personal upfront and out loud in front of everyone. This is not a friendly place. Never been here but we would never go. I hope that this is true that husbands are not allowed to come in this place with wives. Wish I had her name but today is 7/16/20 at 2:45pm. Please find someone friendly who talks and treats all walks of life the same Thank You!

I have waited over 2 hours when I had a appointment but most recently I was seen by Dr. Mclean who has a very rude bedside manner when I complained to staff they told me she is just a matter of fact type person . I have a severe and debilitating condition and not only has the staff not been documenting my complaints every visit but Dr. Mclean was very dismissive of my concerns , feelings, and pain level ! I didnt request any drugs or anything just a simple note for work and its clear from that note provided she has no idea about the condition! My ability to work or not work will not affect her day cant believe its this hard to get a doctors note! When you are walking around feeling like you have a shattered pelvis and have another 20 weeks of it any relief should be warranted! You shouldnt have to beg your providers for proper care ! Unless you have a normal pregnancy wouldnt recommend based only on her other providers thus far were very sympathetic to my condition which was tolerable when I saw them .

This place has a strange policy of dropping you as a patient if you didn’t get the test that they told you to get. I have never heard of any Doctor dropping a patient just because you didn’t get a test done. Shouldn’t this be the patients choice? After all it is my money that I have to spend. I’m glad that they dropped me cause I found a better and nicer place to go to for my check up.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Lewis and Dr. Mclean for 15 years. They are both exceptional doctors who are thorough, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Whenever I have an appointment, I am given quality time with the doctor. I am amazed how thoughtful and thorough both doctors are. The office staff and wait time are excellent. I would highly recommend this practice!

I went there today for the first time and I was amazed at how clean and tidy everything was. I was treated extremely well and saw MD Mary Beth who was wonderful with me and was very reassuring. There was also a play area and my two young children were very happy to be left there with my husband as I was being seen too. I will happily return for further treatment and recommend this place.

The best experience the office had a calm atmosphere not like most doctors offices. I love that it was all women and I had a great duo for my Annual appt the women were awesome. It was easy and comfortable. I would recommend and definitely go back!

I called this office this morning to make an appointment for an urgent problem. I was told that they did not accept my insurance, which I expected. I told the woman on the other end (I didnt catch her name) that I would be paying cash. She informed me that I could not pay cash because I had insurance. Even though they dont take my insurance. She said it was insurance fraud to do that! I thought she was kidding. She wasnt. I told her that was really weird; I was trying to wrap my head around that one! She gave me a tax ID number to call the main office in Tampa and said to talk to them. She said, Maam dont get upset with me, but it is insurance fraud to pay cash if you have insurance. And dont forget, they dont take my insurance!!! Never heard of that one and Ive heard a lot of strange things! Long story short-either she did not know what she was talking about, or theres something weird going on. No thanks, if prospective customers are treated this way I will pass. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I called South Lake OB-GYN and got right in, even without insurance!

Sadly I had to walk out after waiting 30 minutes just to be told it would be at least 45 more before I got seen...Our time is valuable and when asking for time off to leave for an appt.; it would be appreciated if you send a message or give us a call to let us know Dr Glover was running an hour behind...I am sure Dr Glover and staff value their time and want us to be respectful of their time and us show up on time for our appointments... would be nice if we were given the same respect...I understand appts run long and things happen.. all I am saying is a call would’ve been appreciated so I didn’t have to leave work just wait and hen be disappointed..

If you are a pregnant women, I do NOT recommend going to this office, especially if you are a first time mom to be. I was 6 months pregnant and had only saw the actual OBGYN twice. They always stuck me with the nurse practitioner. I felt like I used google as my doctor because anytime I had any questions I either couldn’t get anyone on the phone, no one would call me back, or when I did speak to someone, they were very rude and passive aggressive. The two girls who work up front are constantly whispering to each other and seemed to have a lot of drama, or talking negative about people which made me really uncomfortable. I finally decided to end care with them after they again, had me seeing the nurse practitioner rather than the doctor who was not very supportive of natural birth. We had already paid almost 1700 out of pocket for all of my birthing appointments and birth (they make you pay in full by so many weeks) The billing department is AWFUL and Yesenia told me false information and is very rude. I ended care over two months ago and we have been due for a refund check since then. They have even charged my account another 350 dollars since I ended coverage because they didn’t put a stop on my automatic payments on their end when I ended care. I have called 6 times now, speaking to several different people and I still have not received our check... today I receive a notice in the mail from collections from their doctor. I’m confused how this could be when THEY owe US money back that we still have not received.. everything about going to this place has been a nightmare for me. I really hate that my first pregnancy had to be mostly under the care of this place.

Absolutely love this place! I’ve been going here for almost 10 years and have yet to meet anyone that was unfriendly. Both Dr. McLean and Dr. Lewis are amazing. I’ve used this practice both for standard care, specialty care, and the pregnancy/birth of my child. No doctor’s office is 100% perfect, so take negative reviews with a grain of salt. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for a couple years now and it’s not the best. I had a mixup once with an appointment, I was told the wrong date and I did not show up. The lady at the desk gave me attitude and talked down to me when I told her I was given the wrong information. It’s also hard to get in contact with them, even if it’s to make appointments. I’ve left voicemails and still have not gotten a call back.

Check in was very smooth, only had a short wait. Staff is friendly. Office is clean and very nice. I saw the nurse practioner. She was very thorough. I didnt feel rushed, she put me at ease and took her time and answered all my questions and I had plenty. I would highly recommend Womens Care Florida for all gynecological care.

I am incredibly displeased with the way the billing department chooses to take care of their patients. I am a self pay customer, I was quoted one price and then the day of the procedure they said there was a mistake and the price for the procedure was actually more than double what I was told. Oh, but its okay because they will put you on a payment plan. Im waiting on two different supervisors to supposedly call me back.While I loved Dr. Torres, I will not be going back to the Womens Centre for Excellence.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Getting the correct birth control from this clinic has been an absolute nightmare. After prescribing me the wrong birth control in November of 2018, I voiced my concerns and a nurse told me that all doses of estrogen were “about the same anyway” and my insurance probably changed my coverage. I ended up in the hospital because of the change and it took 6 months for the clinic to finally explain that they had in fact sent in the wrong birth control prescription to be filled and it wasn’t my insurance’s fault. The staff will blow you off and give you the run around until you finally make a scene in which the office manager told me to “calm down” after I expressed frustration in a phone call with her when explaining my 6 month experience. I am still paying off my hospital visit caused by their mistake and they were surprised when I told them I wouldn’t be returning. Their front desk staff will also text openly on their phones and laugh at messages before making eye contact with you while you’re trying to sign in and ask questions about your visit and insurance coverage. I’m a young woman with no children and went through this much trouble to get the correct birth control. Can’t imagine how they treat pregnant women or high risk patients. I’ll go back to this clinic and I encourage others to look elsewhere for your healthcare.

I have received great care while awaiting the arrival of my first baby. The office staff is always greeting you as soon as you walk through the door , which means so much to us mommas to be. You never know what to expect during your first pregnancy and I appreciate all the extra kindness , especially from MAs Regina and Miho whom go above and beyond to simply let their patients know they care , especially during such a season of many emotions .

The Medspa at Women’s care Florida in Clermont is the BEST! I was warmly greeted, welcomed and offered a bottle of water by Jessica at the front desk (what a nice touch!). I’ve been seeing esthetician, Hillary, for several years. She is a miracle worker when it comes to keeping my skin supple and glowing. She has all the latest equipment and treatments to get and keep your skin looking amazing too! Checkout is a breeze. Again, Jessica took time to personally address me and check that everything was good. Thanks Women’s Care for a wonderful experience.

When you ask if a provider is in network, and they say yes. Assume they are lying to you. I will never return to a location that neglects to put a patients needs (financial and physical) first.

Beware of the billing department of Women’s Care Florida. I have delivered two children under this team’s care, and found a similar experience both times. After the first visit for new pregnancy, I was required to sign a pre-payment agreement, where the service cost is estimated in advance and was broken into 3-4 monthly installments. This seems normal and fine. It’s only after you have the baby until you realize they don’t have their accounting act together.My experience with my first child:Amongst the myriad of bills I received upon leaving the hospital, was a bill from Women’s Care Florida (~$1,800). I had a corresponding EOB from my insurance, so I paid the bill. Little did I know, this bill was what I had paid in advance. I only found this out when trying to submit reimbursement from my insurance’s Flexible Spending Account. When I called the billing department in Tampa, they couldn’t give me an answer as to what the bill was for. It took several phone conversations before they told me it was a double payment. Why was I even issued a bill if it was already paid? I waited a couple weeks before receiving the refund by mail.One may think it was my fault for having paid a bill I already paid, but these billing statements are never clear cut in what the services are for. Add to that the fact that I was overwhelmed with other hospital bills and a newborn, and one may see how it can be done.My experience with my second child:After the first child, I chalked the billing experience with baby #1 as an anomaly, but was on guard about billing and payments this next go around. Again, an agreement was made and installment payments were made prior to delivery. After the delivery, EOB statements came and I had two from the hospital that didn’t match my prepaid amount. One was more than what I paid, and the other less. Two months postpartum, I called the office in Clermont to ask if I owed them money, and they told me I am due a credit ($200). The way the employee handled the conversation left me with an impression that my phone call was what prompted the credit to be issued. As if, had I not called, it would have been forgotten about. Again, I was told it would take two weeks to process the refund. Why is it taking a call from the patient to have refunds issued? Two months had gone by!I will never return to this practice. The billing department is shady.

My wife saw them one year ago, took a while to get an appointment but everything went well. This week, almost one year later, they start denying refill requests on her birth control/hormone therapy. We called and the receptionist couldnt tell us why the prescription was cancelled, and the nurse was gone that day so we would have to wait.The next day we called again, and the nurse said its time for my wifes yearly exam, and thats why the refill was denied (no reminders were sent, no warning that we would be denied a refill, no contact from the gyno whatsoever). We couldnt schedule the appointment at that time, so we asked if we could call back later and get one months prescription in the meantime to tide her over until the appointment.Next day, still no prescription. We called to schedule the appointment and learned that the doctor wouldnt consider a refill until the appointment was on the books (which by now it was). They hadnt even started the process, without telling us of course, because they were waiting until we called back to set up the appointment.The weekend passes, no prescription. On Monday we call to learn its on the doctors desk. The birth control is also a hormone therapy to treat severe endometriosis, so you can imagine how upset we are at the delay.Another day passes. My wife has now been without her birth control for 5 days. Still no prescription, still on the doctors desk. Writing this now while my wife is relying on ibuprofen to get her through the day. Cannot wait to help her find a new doctor so we never have to deal with this office again.

Love Cindy Perkins for a pregnancy gynecologist, & Trish S. for sonography, they both take their time to explain and answer any questions, after seeing many patients in a day Im sure it becomes very routine, yet they seem to really care during the exams, and focus on the patient at hand.. After visiting many physicians I highly recommend these particular physicians and the Clermont office.

Dr. Lewis is fantastic!! Been looking for a doctor for the last 9 months & finally found someone who cares, is honest & very personable.

After spending the last three years getting an increasing amount of services both medical and spa - and increasing amount of cosmetic products at Womens Care Florida I was told in February, 2017 that they would no longer be able to give me a critical skincare treatment because they had chosen (as a group practice) to implement the use of lasers that could not be used on olive or dark skin tones! I will no longer be going to this practice and urge you not to go to a practice that has deliberately chosen to discriminate against women certain skin tones. Their lame explanation was that their central buying office had purchased lasers that could not be used on all skin types. Since I had also chosen to have certain other medical procedures done there I will also be removing my medical business from the hands of Dr. Kristina McLean. This kind of decision making is outright prejudice and I am shocked that black doctors like Alana McGee would associate with this practice that purports to support women of all types without discrimination!

I had to go twice a week for NST testing. My twins were not always cooperative but Miho and Regina were amazingly patient and kind through every appointment.

I was very dissatisfied and disappointed of them. I went there because the one I go to that by the way is a 5star is the one in Orlando, since I had an emergency because I had high blood pressure my amazing doc could not see me and send me to their other site in clermont. First of all they didnt even read my information from my ER visit that suggested that I have mild preclamsya and the midwife Sarah and the other assistant that came in were treating us like it was nothing she minimized all our concerns and to add insult to Injury she didnt even went to the room after they monitor the baby for contractions and send someone else to tell us that everything was fine and we were dismissed. I tell you what I dont care how many weeks I will have to wait for an appt with my obgyn debra ortiz, but I will never set foot at the clermont office again. They are the worst in caring for their patient all they worry about there is the $$$

If you are looking for a place where you will be cared for by a team of competent and compassionate doctors, KEEP LOOKING. I can assure you, this is not the place. Initial appointment, I informed the doctors I believed I had an UTI, and described my symptoms. No attempt to collect urine and inspect my cervix was made. I was referred to Quest for blood work, where the doctor followed up with a call about having too much blood in my body. When I asked about the range, I was given an uhhhhh ummm, response. Before disconnecting the call, I asked about my urine sample only to be told it was contaminated. So like any person with common sense, I responded, I reported I have a UTI, do you not think its important enough for me to come in for an examine or to send me back to redo the test? To make a long pathetic story short, I had to CALL them several times regarding my results where I was told everything was fine. Only to look online at the results and see that my iron level is dangerously low (per usual, Im anemic) and of course they didnt even mention this. Glad I skipped on to the next doctor. Beautiful place, filled with clueless professionals standing around chatting. And I do use the word professionals lightly.
