Dr G. Perez is awesome. My daughter had a well woman check up and Dr. Perez made her so comfortable. She’s very pleasant and very welcoming. My daughter lives out of town but doesn’t mind coming home to do her annual and all her obgyn needs with Dr Perez. Well done 🤗

I had an appointment on Thursday 2/18/21 and for my surprise, the staff doesn’t wear mask at all. This is unacceptable. Since the front desk clerks, the nurse assisting me in less than 6 feet distance. They post a paper on the wall stating about mask wearing from customers and staff. I asked them why they don’t wear mask and they stated they had the covid vaccine. And I told them that is not an excuse to not wear it. And they stated is my choice to stay there. And I told them after they called me to schedule an appointment that is not the correct answer for a customer. Because they are not protecting me, but I am protecting them.

So! I had multiple miscarriages before and my condition is to be taken seriously. The day of my appointment they literally called me 5 min before to tell me that they could not proceed the check up (after I waited 3-4 weeks experiencing cramping already) because they do not take the current insurance I had (yes HAD because I had to change it in order to be seen and of course it takes time) I went in the office and had to pay OUT OF POCKET $518 (BEFORE I went in For my check up. My husband was also shocked about it! Because it has been the first time happening) after they told me it was about $450. I proceed to do so since my condition is serious and of course I wanted to know if my baby was alright after cramping and bleeding. That day I found out that I have a vanishing twin but the other baby is doing great. The doctor who seen me was over all a sweet heart no complain about that. My complain over all is the fact that I was looking for a reimbursement and the front desk lady’s had told me that i had to call my insurance and they will tell me the steps to make it happen. They gave me an appointment two weeks after (a time that I was not going to have insurance changed . Meaning I had to pay out of pocket again) so I proceed to call the insurance and told me that South Lake OBGYN at four corners had to write a letter to fax it out to the insurance so they can pay with no trouble what so ever the cost of BOTH of my appointments. I had let them know through voicemail what needed to be done and guess what... they called me back telling me it is not possible to do so since they do not take the insurance I had. After I had made sure with the insurance company that if it was possible for them to do so and they were 100% sure they could. And had no interest in helping me out. My best guess is that they definitely OVER CHARGED ME and that is why they do not proceed with my request. Other than that I felt uncomfortable in the clinic at first because the equipment looked filthy. And during this time it is something I look at a lot! Especially if your pregnant. It’s very delicate.

Doctor G. Perez is an amazing doctor and I always feel comfortable speaking to her about any issues I have.She has a great ora about her and I would highly recommend her and this office as a whole
