Myself and my child visited this office on 1/08/2021 for our yearly eye exam! We come here every year for our eye exam! We love the staff! Best Optical Outlets ever! We definitely miss Sara! Although the other staff is absolutely amazing! Michelle, Adelina, Heather & Shannon are the BEST! Ladies keep up the awesome work. Customer service here is not good it’s GREAT! I wouldn’t go anywhere else on planet for an eye exam! My mother is also a customer here as well! The staff is patient and helpful! This Has to be the most inconsiderate and unprofessional place ever. I scheduled a appointment with them earlier this month and before the appointment was confirmed I provided the receptionist with my insurance and she sent me via text a confirmation. Today is the day of my appointment I spoke with John 3 hours before my appointment and he advised everything was good. Fast forward to me walking in I was told that my insurance was not covered and I told him that they were in network so he proceeds to tell me that the doctor that is in had not updated their credentials and nobody can see me. I drove more than 40 mins to this appointment to basically be told something that couldve been told to me over the phone prior to me coming. When I asked him why didnt he tell me that earlier he advised that he was distracted. I am extremely upset and if I could give them no stars I would.

I recently moved to the area, and my daughter was in need of glasses( she has always refused to wear them).After asking around many people i spoke with hands down referred you guys. I came in and meet with a very nice and professional women Adalina. She was very helpful in finding correct glasses for my daughter as she is young(8), and has been refusing to wear any glasses. She made my daughter very comfortable and spoke to her to see what she would like. Most eye glass places never speak to the child only the parents. My self as the parent felt very at ease with her. I sat back and let my daughter and Adalina talk and decide together, on the right fit and style. I was very impressed with this store from the staff to the cleanness of it. Even more so impressed with how great Adalina was with my daughter and the patience she had with her. Hands down I will be returning shortly to get myself a new pair of glasses and when i do i will most differently ask for Adalina. Thank you so much for your help and patience in dealing with my daughter. Cant wait to return!!!

Very disappointed in the hospitality of this location. Mr. Mohamed, District Manager of this location, please reach out to this location on understanding what customer service is expected. When I say my glasses are making me more blind and I think I need a reexamination, I don’t need to hear ok we will give you your money back and you can shop somewhere else. Well, with my pleasure!!! They also had people reusing pens and did not practice any secure Covid-19 CDC guidelines. Being a frontline worker, this is why we are still wearing masks. Horrible location and horrible staff. I’d be ashamed if this was my franchise.

A female sales representative named Adelina, (specifically a long hair older lady with mostly gray)at the Store of Clermont was totally unethical and rude to my son and very disrespectful to him and my entired Family.We spend over $450 dollars in exams and merchandise to received that kind of bad behavior from a sales person.Very disappointed we choose to go to that specific store.

I had a really good experience here. The eye doctor was a female which I was very comfortable with, there were many extra mile. Thank you everyone for everything. I appreciate it.

The Doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable and the staff was amazing. I was getting contacts for first time and they were very patient and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone needing an eye doctor.

Went today for exam and before the dilated portion of the exam was completed Michele had me pick out my frames and ordered my bifocals. The optometrist Dr. Allison Toler was both pleasant and efficient. Every member of the staff seemed busy and friendly. They also were very insurance savvy. Would recommend.

Worst customer service and they don’t answer there phones.

Took my 16yo son on a Saturday morning and it was fast, friendly, and focused.The entire staff was very professional, well dressed, and the place was clean.These peoples work with your budget without making you feel like a second class citizen.

Called with questions about my bill and was put on hold by Jordan for over 5 minutes. Hung up called back and Jordan put me on hold again and then I was disconnected. Called a third time and Sarah answered the phone. When I explained why I was calling and what had happened there was no apology for hanging up or leaving me on hold just right to why I was calling. Customer service 101 always apologize when your company has messed up. Oh and btw the bill was correct. Im just upset by the lack of customer service.

Adelina is a great employee. She is sweet and professional. She takes the time to show you different frames for your face. I have been going to this location for over 4 years and I dont care how much I have to wait, she is worth waiting and the additional aspect is that she is bilingual. Bilingual A+++++, Customer Service A+++++++. Recommend highly

Optometrist were great and personable. Both my daughter and I had appointments, didnt have to wait long. Even though it was busy and they appeared to be short staffed, Adelina still took the time to assist my daughter with her contact lens fitting, along with helping me pick out a new pair of glasses. She was very patient and helpful through the entire process, which was a success.

They got my wifes prescription completely wrong. She ordered new glasses with the prescription given and the right eye lens was completely wrong. We went to a more reputable location for another eye exam and their prescription was accurate and completely different from the one she received here. Do not recommend. 1 star.

I love this store for so many reasons. The professionalism and the one on one treatment that other stores dont provide. Each employee takes the time to help you and go their way to make sure you go home satisfied. I have been coming here for years and I vouch for them and the great work they do.

I got such amazing care at this optical outlet. Everyone is so nice so caring. Raquel the manager went out of her way to make sure that I was taken care of when I had a difficult time with my prescription. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and neighbors. I would say the service I got was above and beyond. The prices are extremely fair.

I’ve been a patient with Optical Outlets Clermont for several years. They’ve always been very helpful, precise and completely professional with me during my visits and have helped me on a couple of unusual situations as well. The staff is friendly and on point. The doctors are also both very good at what they do. I recommend them highly.

Employees dress way way too casual, its a place of business not a night club. How can you feel like your spending your money and getting a good exam when its so unprofessional. This is the last time I will be coming here and I will recommend others the same.

Very bad customer services. I took my daughter for exams and contact lenses. They told me it would take one and a half week to be ready. I had to call after 20 days. They didnt call me back at all. They didnt know how to explain what was happening. I called corporate to speak with the District Manager and he didnt know what was happening, either. They dont know how to deal with customers. The way they treat customers is like they are doing you a favor. I dont recommend it and Im very disappointed. I called the District manager to complain about putting my name on the internet. Obviously he doesnt know anything about HIPAA law. He was extremely insolent. He didnt let me finish and hung up the phone on my face. Again, thats the kind of customer service they offer. I will NEVER go back to that store again. Never! Unbelievable poor people skills. Also, last year I went for a new exam, paid more than $200 and they made a mistake with my prescription. I waited for 1 week for my glasses and it was totally wrong! The manager told to the representative that it was wrong! And they were pushing me to take the glasses anyway! A lot more to tell about it! Theyre too much! Enough is enough!

Adelina is so rude dont explain any procedure,she just tell you sit in the chair and blow your eyes with air without warning you or any explanation. MD Patel dont clean the equipment for our eyes,there was a fly inside of lents lean on you face. THEY ARE LOCATED RIGHT NEAR THE EPIC MOVIE THEATER. TURN ON TO STEVES ROAD TO GET THERE. ALSO, QUICK IN AN OUT.

The only complaint I have is they didn’t provide disposable shades after I had my pupils dilated. It made it very hard to see when I left. Otherwise everything was great

I have gone to the clermont office for many years. The doctors are wonderful and the staff is amazing. I love to see the familiar faces such as Michelle, Adelina and Heather. I always feel welcomed as family with these young ladies.They kindly help me choose glasses that best fit me which i adore because many eye doctor offices do not take there time to help you. So i will continue coming to this office.

Only two days after and I cannot edit Add on To my prescription They lie that they are really making my Glasses, They told me just to place another order of new glasses bunch of liars

Once again, 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time and still no doctor in sight. After several days of reminders about my appointment time, l arrived on time. When l asked if they were running behind based on the full waiting area, l was told no. Yet, here l sit, going on an hour late. VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE!

The customer service was great. Michelle the manager and an employee Caitlyn greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. I waited less than 5 minutes before the doctor saw me and once I finished my test, one of the employees names Anthony helped me pick out the right pair of glasses that were perfect. I will definitely be coming back next year for my next appointment

This place is the best place to get an eye exam and the people who work here are always so kind.Love my new glasses I bought there I tell people all the time about the great deals and the help you get to find that pair of glasses you really need.

From reading the reviews, this seems like a hit or miss business place. I got my glasses there and wasnt happy with the cheap frames, they remedied that right after I complained to my insurance company. I paid the excess of my insurance coverage only to find out they billed and were paid over another $100 above my original bill! I just spent 1 hour and 43 minutes the phone with my insurance company to settle this. If I hadnt asked for tinted lenses than my bill would have been less than my co-pay and fully covered. I dont understand why I had to pay MORE than my co-pay and still have them get more money from my insurance company

The receptionist and doctor were very nice, however, they charge you with higher fees than other places. My insurance only covered either glasses or contacts I wanted to use my insurance for glasses and just get my contacts prescription for later use. The dr. Told me she would give me a free trial pair of contacts, which I always get at every appointment Ive ever been to. When I told the lady who was taking care of my billing that I did not want to purchase contacts at this time, she told me I would have to give her back the contacts which I had already put in my eye balls! I was mortified! I couldnt believe she was telling me this and in order to get my prescription for the contacts Id have to pay a $60 fitting fee! Just for a piece of paper! The contacts were taken back rolled up in a tissue and thrown out! It was incredibly unprofessional and down right mean! I didnt even want to get my glasses with them at this point so I just paid my copay to get my prescription and went back to eye glass world where I have been going for 4 years! I only changed because I moved and this place was closer! No thank you I will drive my 40 minutes to eye glass world!

The manager, Michelle, is so pleasant and helped me pick out the perfect glasses. They were busy, but she did not rush me at all. She is all smiles!!!😊 I highly recommend this store!!!!

Long wait time in waiting area. Friendly staff and great eye doctor. Location is tucked away in the far left back side of the plaza, easy to miss. Would be better if they have you a copy of your eye exam and prescription when you left though.

Called to cancel appointment bc I couldnt make it on time, lady who answered was very rude and even laughed at me. Never ever going to this location again. Inconsiderate.

This place is a joke! This is not a “doctors” office. Your a number at this place not a patient. The eye doctor couldn’t even get a prescription for my contacts because they didn’t know how to operate the equipment. I had to contact my previous eye doctor in order to get the prescription. Once I was able to get the prescription the doctor was unable to match the prescription because they didn’t have the equipment needed.. Walmart eye center is 100x better then this worthless hole in the wall. Do yourself a favor and go to a real eye doctor.

It is 4 weeks and still no glasses. I have never had to wait this long for glasses ever. Rediculous.

My elderly father and I waited over 45 minutes for our previously scheduled appointment. It appears they have a system of prolonging the exam visit only to push sales of expensive glasses on patients. I do not recommend this location. Noisy and unprofessional at best.

I had a problem with my glasses, i am a happy person and never give anyone problems. But they made me into the bad guy and did not want to help me out, see what they could do, without me having to pay for their mistake. Their customer service is lacking, i would not have cared if they had charged me more, but they treated me like a criminal. Just dont go. Not worth the problem if they mess up what you work hard to get.

The Doctor was amazing!!! Manager Michelle helped my sister and I and she was AWESOME, so helpful, friendly and just all around Fabulous!!!!

If you value your money and time, go elsewhere. RIP offs are trying to hit me for a second exam fee after they screwed my lenses up. Buyers beware.

Doctor J (cant remember his whole name) is great. He takes his time and is very thorough. Lisa was fantastic, she explained all the charges to us and was very informative. The reason they dont get 5 stars is because the receptionist Michelle was rude. Lisa seemed to be having trouble w/ the system and asked her to help and Michelle responded you talking to me?. It made us feel uncomfortable

Worst place I have ever been to. First off spent over $500. For 2 pairs of glasses...prescription was wrong called to get another appt. Appt was scheduled they email me day of canceling and rescheduling for a time I couldnt make...called to get another appt..they schedule that one in 2 weeks....so $500 for glasses I cant use for a month. Poor customer service...poor service in general.

I spend 6 weeks in the area at clerbrook Rv and Golf Resort , and to find places like this store is outstanding , i latterly drop my glasses and stepped on them crushing them , and needed these to drive home to Virginia pulling a Rv and i entered the store with them in a bag and asked the young lady if it was possible to fix them and she said know problem and she did at know cost to me unbelievable i will be using this store for all my eye care needs while in Florida each year !

After I wait outside for 30 min I was the first person in the clinic and my appt was 9:15 am. BTW ATILL WAITING!! And is almost 9:30 am I went in and a other person came. IM STILL SITTING WATING FOR SOMEONE TO CALL ME. AND THE SECOND PERSON BECOME THE FIRST!!!

I havent even gone. I literally just called to schedule my wife and I new patient exams, the phone cut out and I asked him to repeat himself. Instead of repeating them, they immediately hung up on me. I then call back and they pick up and hang up. Obviously I dont recommend even calling these people.

Took my Mom here...most of the Staff were very nice. Dr. was also very helpful. Ordered my Moms glases they said in a week we will call you. After 2 weeks I called and they said glasses were ready. The person this time was not helpful at all. Just gave my Mom the glasses while on the phone with another person. Normally they check and ask questions to see if the person feels good or no with the glasses, no, not this time.Very poor Customer Service had this specific young lady. The cloth to clean the glasses was stained and when I asked her she simply said, we have no more but you can wash it Are you serious? I thought. SMH it only take a smile, eye contact with your Patients/Customers to make it a 5 stars.My Mom is 87 years old and Im glad I was with her. Definitely I DO NOT recomend this place and of course I would not go back. Feedback for the young lady:TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED..

I walked in after something flew into my eye. I asked if I could use saline solution to flush the object out of my eye. It wouldnt budge. I even used my fingers. I asked if there was anyone there to take a look at my eye. The doctor was in dealing with her last appointments. They asked her too take a look at my eye. Apparently she wanted to leave for the day and said she wouldnt help me. I was in pain and having trouble seeing from my eye. I had to drive to Centra Care (where they actually care) to recieve the help I needed to remove the object from my eye and recieve prescription eye drops from the abrasion. Not only did I feel unimportant and like my business was not wanted they had the audacity to say come and see us in the morning. Doctors are supposed to help people not refuse them and turn them away.

Customer service its what keeps business on track. The receptionist working today is very unprofessional and rude. As per the rest of the staff they are very nice. Would never go to this place again.

5 year olds first appointment. I pre filled out documents. I got here 15 ministers early (I was messaged by a computer 3 times at least to be here early)Waited 45 minuets to see the doctor. I was told 2 we’re working this day... unacceptable.

Very unprofessional staff. Waited 45 mins while the doctor was eating lunch and she had a full room of patients. When I called to order my contacts the receptionist kept getting my numbers wrong because she forgot I have insurance. Never again
