Dr. Pollack was extremely compassionate. He is very knowledgeable and explained the different strains and process to me. He took the time. I hope to be pain free very soon.

Customer service never answers. I made an appointment this past Saturday while vacationing in Clearwater. Asked to reschedule to the Kissimmee office and the chat representative told me I was rescheduled but I was still on the Clearwater schedule for Saturday….. I have no confirmed appointment for Kissimmee and I’m $189.00 down the toilet because nobody ever answers the phone!Not pleased…

No one picks up the phone when you call the call center. Heaven forbid you have to reschedule, there is no one there to answer! These people need to man their phone lines!

I have used DocMJ in the past and they USED to be a decent place. With their current set of doctors and employees I wouldn’t send my enemies here. They DO NOT request your records from your doctor even though they have you sign a release. They will wait until your appointment to tell you that they need your medical records and say they are still waiting for your doctor to send them, in turn you will leave there without your recommendation. My doctor told me they never contacted them in any manner to request the records. Do yourself a favor, use CannaMD. This place is not what they used to be. And if you insist on using this place AVOID Denise Schow!!!!!

For a person just wanting quick approval with little to no interaction or insight from the doctor this is 100% the place.Having been on the cannabis registry for over 2 years now.....DOC MJ is the place to go for a quick approval.BE Warned. you are left to figure things out on your own. expect to be in and out from your appointment in 5-8 minutes. You will spend more time with the medical assistant getting checked in than with the doctor.If you want a full service doctor that can go through every detail of the cannabis program with you thats up to date with the state and department of health and actually knows what they are talking about icompletely reccomend (Kelly King, or Douglas Scott) from other companies.in florida it seems like you get what you pay for when it comes to a quality medical cannabis doctor.Not knocking Doc MJ they are great for people that know what they are doing..... but not for sombody new to cannabis and seniors that plan on using it To replace other medications.

I have been a pt of Docmj for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. Yesterday I had a new telemed appt with Dr J.Roberts which was great too. In all my time as a pt I have had Dr. Szabo, Dr. Paulina (twice) and yesterday Dr Roberts. My questions have all been answered fully. Never had a bad med assit when I have gone in either. I highly recommend this mm practice.

Dr. Szabo is an intelligent and compassionate doctor. He made my first recommendation a few years back and my health has been better ever since.I was skeptical and anxious at first about Medical Marijuana as I grew up in an extremely conservative household, but now I feel like telling everyone how great it has been for me!Compared to previous medications with extreme side effects or living through the cards that life has dealt, I find that MMJ is like walking on air.

Bad service and communication. I didnt receive a recommendation which is whatever, they said they only give out recommendations if you already have a script. I dont have scripts because I dont have health insurance and dont want to take pharmaceuticals - I wish they had just stated this on their website so I didnt waste my time. In addition to that, their website and their front desk employee stated that I would receive my full refund of $169.00 if I did not receive a recommendation. They refunded $119.00, keeping $50.00. Every time Ive tried to call I get some bogus answering service who I leave a message with and they never call me back. What the heck! I had to eat ramen for a week to save up for this appointment. $50.00 means my groceries! Their website blatantly lies (attached photo), their customer service was horrible, and their doctor refused to palpate or ask me any questions. Just demanded a script. Absolutely terrible. Dont waste your time here.

Grifters, all. Unprofessional, unorganized, unfit to be treating anyone. Communication is almost non-existent, there isnt even direct lines to the offices (red flag), the phone number connects to a call center that only has a 40% chance of answering at all. After a long wait and prodding both them & my psychs office to get my my medical records to DocMJ I was still ultimately denied a reccomendation. These are dealers (poor ones, at that), not healers. Go literally anywhere else.

I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and at a time and location that was convenient for me. I met with Dr. Szabo who was wonderful and understanding. He thoroughly reviewed my medical records that I brought with me and discussed my options. He made specific recommendations that were relevant for my conditions. I work in the medical field and appreciated his kindness and care that he provided. The costs was reasonable and less than some others that I had researched.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, Dr Paulina made the whole process easy and painless.

This office is a great place if you wanna just give away money. When I booked my appointment I filled out a questionnaire and payed for my appointment. When I show up for it the front desk lady said I needed more paperwork and they would have to reschedule.......ok fine, rebooked for 9:45am. Show up at 9:40am, only for them to say it was booked for 9.......was seen by the nurse (actually nice lady) then as Im being taken to the doctor I can hear her saying shes busy and I should of shown up at my booked time, um excuse me? The doctor maybe looked up at me 3 times from her computer. Doesnt even go over anything I filled out on the paperwork just tells me i need to obtain medical records or see a doctor and to have a nice day. Wont ever recommend this place to anyone.

When I think of my experience with Denise Schow, the name Karencomes to mind. I have interacted with a lot of aggressive andout-there personalities, but Dr. Schow was the most unkind, uncaring, and unpleasant person I have ever met.If Denise Schows goal is to turn people away from the concept ofmedical marijuana: she has absolutely succeeded.If her goal was to be a compassionate champion of a treatment that has helped people across a spectrum of conditions: she has totally failed.Schows explanation in denying a recommendation to me was that I did not bring nor present a literal stack of medical records outlining the history of my condition(s). Isnt that why we provide written consent to DocMJ to pull these records from our doctors?Isnt this the whole reason the provider is given latitude to revoke a patients recommendation retroactively if their story doesnt align with their medical records? I really hope this approach to determining patient need stops with Denise Schow. I hope patients are being judged on need, rather than how thick their medical file is.Not everyone can afford to go to a doctor every time they get so much as a migraine. Even the ones that can know that money is better spent elsewhere.I asked at what point in time her decision to deny the recommendation was made. The response was: the second I saw you. Im not saying this woman has some deep prejudices... but it sure feels that way.She started our session by recommending some highly addictivebeta-blocking narcotic as a better solution to my ailments. The systematic comparison of opiods to the MMJ industry is continuously perpetrated by these types.DocMJ should weed their ranks of doctors who over AND under prescribe treatment. Its clear the other bad reviews here are singling out this particular doctor. The only saving grace was that the nurse was a gem: very kind, friendly and understanding.If having a stack of paperwork and looking a certain way are thecriteria that need to be met for medical marijuana: then I have lostall faith in the process. Its evident that this doctor does not keepup with the latest discoveries in this rapidly growing space and isnot a champion of this cause.If you do choose to visit this particular doctor, be sure to looklike someone thats suffering. If youre renewing your card, be weary- this doctor appears to be looking for any excuse to deny people orpotentially even revoke their recommendations.

Let me first say that I have never left a bad review for any company or service that I have used. This was hands down the most unprofessional and worst experience with customer service I have ever had. I sat in the office for over an hour. When I came in the person behind the counter said she would be right with me. Two people sitting there in the office literally doing nothing. I was then told I would need to go home and be charged $55 dollars to reschedule after they admitted they had not sent the forms that were needed. I already paid my$179 and was told to go home. Very rude and unprofessional. If I could give zero stars I would. Please folks do not waste your time or money. I hope the other offices are not like this one. Disputing my charge and finding a place that knows what they are doing.

I would give zero stars if I could. Very unorganized office. The doctor I saw still hadn’t reviewed my medical paperwork after 5 days! And they don’t let you see another doctor who might be quicker. The only way to get ahold of anyone is to call their call center, and that is if they answer the phone! I am so relieved to have taken my business elsewhere. The only positive thing I can say is they did refund my money when I hadn’t received my recommendation after a week of waiting for their doctor to review my medical records.

I was a little nervous about going to apply for my Medical MJ license only because I didnt know what kind of questions I would be asked. I am so glad I went to Dr. Schow. She and her assistant (I regret not remembering her name) were so pleasant and welcoming. Once you have Medical records and the documents needed the process was very easy and stress free. I definitely recommend Dr. Schow!

DocMJ is one of the shadiest companies around. They are a loose network of doctors who merely act as gatekeepers to the states certification program. Their billing department is a mess and no one in their entire staff communicates correctly. Avoid at all costs. Your time and money is better spent at companies that actually supports patients, and not extort them.

I gave a one star review because Holey Moley they have been a nightmare I GOT MY LICENSED RENEWED EASILY AT THE DOCS OFFICE ONCE I GOT ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FINALLY! So changed to 3 stars. Have another renewal coming up WE WILL SEEAbsolutely worse service. I prepaid for one year. 8 months later I was still chasing them down to get my license. They screwed everything up! Oh and they will admit it eventually months later IF you ever catch them on the phone. THEN THEY PROMISE A PHONE CALL BACK YOU WILL NEVER GET AND SO STARTS YOUR ENDLESS CHASE! It took three visits to get my flower recommendation. They missed two. The Dr. Was on their way and incredibly called off sick. I spoke with owner Denise ? Which went no where. I told her I would tell others of my experience. She said so what. Professional, Huh...my flower recommendation doesnt work now also...😠

I went in and renewed many license today in Clearwater. I was 40 minutes early and they still got me in quickly. Dr. Szabo, was one of the youngest, but most attentive doctors Ive ever met... And Ive me a LOT. Ill send friends and family here for sure.

I have been calling for weeks. I am a disabled veteran. I have attempted to cancel my appointment due to an issue with family. I called and no answer on the answering service, so I left a message to cancel. I got a call 40 minutes before my appointment and I told them I canceled. I got charged a $50 fee for a cancellation. They said I did not cancel within 48 hours. This is complete BS. I have been requesting for someone to contact me about this and they will not return my calls.Brittany Pleszewski their billing clerk will just send email saying I have to pay or show proof why I had to cancel. HIPAA laws prevent me from providing the documentation. Way to screw over your veterans!!!!

So I just went to my appointment and was told I was unqualified for my recommendation, so instead of being told to bring my medical records. When every one who was recommended before me didnt have to bring any records they told me to go to the free clinic for my pain and thyroid disease. I would not recommend seeing the worst phisycian there which is Paulina Olszewska .she could barely give me a straight answer or keep or head up or eyes open. Very unprofessional and rude.she was yawning every few minutes and didnt say but two words and wanted to say were being aggressive towards her when she was telling me to just go to the free clinic in st Pete. When I was trying to get help and take time off to work and just get denied well I want my money back yall took .she said I dont need documentation until at the end of my visit when she was being rude and causing me street and anxiety telling me I dont have it.

I had to go on disability and my funds were low, I called to tell them I no longer wanted to be on the 30 dollar plan!!! I did owe them 130 dollars from that plan!!! Well out of the blue they took 180 dollars off my credit card that they had no authorization to use, very creepy to me!!! I had to pay for this service to keep my medical card, all of this a big scam, because these drs have no clue at all, to prescribe any weed, thank GOD we have more choices now!!! There is nothing in the world I hate more than having to pay for a service that is so dumb, wasted good money!!! By them taking an xtra 50 off my credit card really bothered me, so I called them , no one and I mean no one would help me!!!! They would not call me back, only to see if I wanted to make a drs appt!!!! Lol!!! Me writing this I’m not mad, I guess they like not calling their patients back, taking money that wasn’t theirs!!! I’m just telling you straight up, find a better facility!!! There is more drs out there now that can prescribe!!! DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED $$$$$$ Go some where else with better knowledge and people that return your phone calls!!!

After a conversation with an Autumn at the office an email was sent to my workplace FROM DocMJ fabricating a story to make me look bad at my job. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Went in with all my documents and was seen within 10min. Dr szabo was exceptional and helpful. Pain pills are the leading crisis in our world especially with our youth. I really thought that dr.mj was going to help me ... I am terminally ill.. so I went in and paid 170 bucks mind u I live on disability and Im waiting on a transplant...well.. I thought the appt went great.. then when I tried to fill out the info 4 my card and pay my 75 dollars ... I couldnt.. so I called and I guess the doctor didnt register me properly and never gave me my patient id number!! I have been trying to get back ahold of them 4 over 3 weeks now but I only get an answering service and no calls back.. so far the issue is still not fixed and so I guess even though its very hard 4 me 2 get around I will have 2 find someone to take me back cause Im very upset with having to wait just 4 them 2 call and fix a simple issue!!...

VERY DECEIVING . I paid up front for my initial visit , and 6 month follow up. I received the call for booking my follow up and was told I had to pay yet ANOTHER $169.00. My follow up appointment was already paid for in my package , however they require you to now pre-pay for another year. If you dont do it right then during the phone call they will not honor your follow up services. What if you dont want to continue on with them ?? They are forcing you to pay another year or refusing to give you a service they already charged you for ?? Needless to say , the Media will be advised of this scam. You should be advised as well. The only service I really received was one visit for an evaluation.

I called to inquire about making an appointment to get my recommendation renewed. I spoke with the representative at length about how I needed to wait on the okay from my cardiologist because of a heart issue that was recently discovered due to my exposure to toxic burn pits in Afghanistan. He told me I could book the appointment, since they fill up fast, and if I needed to I could cancel AT ANY TIME prior to my appointment. I asked about that more in depth because of the stated refund policy and he said it won’t be an issue.My cardiologist and electrophysiologist called me yesterday and advised against using medical cannabis for the time being until I undergo several cardiac procedures at the VA. This includes an EP study. So I call DocMJ to cancel and they deny giving the full refund as stated by the representative I mentioned earlier. After a long back and forth I said that I would exercise my right as a consumer to post negative reviews on their “business” on various sites. She said I can’t “threaten” my way into getting my full refund. I said that there is no “threat”. Every consumer who utilized a business has the right to review said business’ practices however they deem necessary. I will not be threatened into NOT writing negative reviews when necessary.To my fellow veterans: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We already get screwed over enough by the government/VA, don’t waste your resources with them. This is not the first time this place has screwed me over. When Hurricane Irma hit last year apparently DocMJ was not prepared and a lot of recommendations were messed up in the computer system which prevented me from obtaining medicine at a time I really needed it. No other provider had a problem with their systems. I had to wait nearly a week for them to fix the issue. That’s a week without meds I needed for my wellness.There are so many more reputable and respectful doctors that would be more than happy to assist you. The great thing about being a veteran is that we have a HUGE network of groups to pass along information about businesses to avoid and/or not give our money to. I will be contacting all of the ones I am apart of to let them have the tens of thousands of veterans here in FL be aware of my experience including the Wounded Warrior Project, the IAVA, local AMVETs, American Legion, VFW, DAV.Again, I was provided misinformation by a DocMJ staff member simply to get me to book an appointment (and get my money) by saying that the appointments book fast and then reiterating that if I needed to cancel AT ANY TIME I would not have an issue getting a full refund. That turned out not to be the case.

I see that most of these reviews are for MMJ and not the company so i thought Id review them. I got a recommendation no problem, it was afterwards when the issues arise. It seems this company just wants you in the door and then cares little, as evident by the lack of info on the website to current patients. Initially i only had one route on my recommendation so i tried to navigate the site to find out where current patients go to contact their doctor since my Doc was explicit to contact through DocMJ. I sent them a message then waited a week and no response. then i called and left a message, again no response. Finally, I texted and got a response. Instead of having oral added as a route they increased dosage, which still took several days to input. I contacted the same person i texted again, this time with a quicker response, but informed me my Doc was no longer with them so it would take a few days to update that part of my Rec. Although a nuisance, i brushed all this off as the issue was eventually resolved and I understand mistakes happen. The final ridiculousness came this afternoon when I had seen that my Rec had expired. Since I had recently been talking to them and they said my Doc was no longer with them AND they were in my profile and knew when i needed a renewal they would resolve this before it became an issue, i was incorrect. So i texted them again and while waiting for a response decided to call. I was answered by a call center, which I understand can be a necessity, but this call center was only there to take a message and have someone call me back. Nobody called me back or texted me back. So now a service that i paid this company to provide me is not being provided due to their apparent lack of organization and customer service.

This company is not following the laws according to the office of compassionate use.Doctors are only supposed to order marijuana for conditions of 2014 amendment until the Florida decides the infrastructure.Doctors like the ones at docmj ruin it for the honest doctors and for the-people who need the herb because this only attracts the federal government and Jeff Sessions to come in to Florida to stop the situation due to greed. Moreover telemedicine is illegal for a schedule 1 drug. For a few selfish people the rest of us will suffer who need it just like what happened with the opioids and the pill mills.

Dont believe the HYPE! This company has one thing in mind, to lie and deceive their way into their patients wallets...They cancelled my orders early twice while I was under their care. The first time was 2 weeks ahead of my expiring care date, the 2nd time was cancelled 2 days before the expired order. My recommendation was canceled without notification and I’ve try to reach them now for well over a month. All I get is their answering service and no one has return any my calls.

They suck they can charge you $50 if you rescheduled your appointment but if they rescheduled appointment on the same day of your appointment they dont credit you $50. Thats there rules, they call that fair, I just cancel and going somewhere else
